The food at Cork is amazing! This place is a gem. We came here on a Saturday night at 6:30pm, and it was honestly not very busy. We were seated for our reservation right away. Our server was the sweetest and checked on us often.

The downstairs is a bar and wine shop. The upstairs is a spacious restaurant. I would recommend making a reservation, but you could probably also just walk in.

We ordered the house-made focaccia, which was insanely good. We also had the calamari, heirloom tomatoes, hanger steak, brussels, and spaghetti vongole.
The hanger steak was perfectly medium rare and tender. The flavor was delicious.
The calamari was crispy, and the sauce was very balanced.
Everything was delicious. The wine was also great, of course! I wish I remembered which one we tried. My friend spilled her wine on her lap, but the waitress was so nice about it and brought her stuff to clean up!

I would definitely come back here again! The food and service were amazing.

A second visit here was a bit disappointing. We were sat around 9:30pm and were handed menus and while we perused them we ordered our wine. When we finally put our order a few minutes before 10pm with the server who didn't come by very often, he came back at 10:03pm to tell us the kitchen was closed and they wouldn't be able to honor our food orders. I wish the server had actually told us the kitchen was closing or stopped by so we could be prompted to get our order in earlier. I'm still not sure what happened if we ordered before 10pm but totally understand the kitchen closes!

We ended up ordering a cheese plate and a charcuterie plate but the server's comments upon placing them on our table confused us. The plates also came super late, as we had nearly finished our wine. The plates also left all of us hungry as it's not very filling.

However, the upstairs space is super cute and enjoyable to be in. The wine selection is great, too!

Wine store and bar in one. Relaxed ambiance and great wine. The bar gets pretty full around 4-5 but for good reason everyone likes to hangout here especially after work. If you end up really liking a wine you can buy a bottle from the store section which I appreciated

Dropped by to enjoy a glass of wine. Sat at the downstairs bar and was walked through the menu by Kareem, who was a gem. He was able to explain the various options and was extremely insightful about what was offered and what would be best for different taste palettes. All of his recommendations were tasteful. I also ordered a side of fries, which were tasty. The homemade ketchup was a nice addition to the uniqueness. The service was excellent and I will definitely be returning to experience the upstairs bar, which has wine flights.

Great wine bar with a delicious on 14th street in DC! They have a great menu with many shareable options - the avocado and cheese platters were great. They also have a fantastic wine list with a knowledgeable staff.

I stopped by here for some wine last night and I'm glad I did as I love wine bars. The vibe is very relaxed as its a store and wine bar in one. The wine bar got pretty busy and the service was good. I enjoyed the wines I had and the food menu looks good as well. If I lived in the area, I'd probably frequent this establishment.

I came here for a birthday gathering. I arrived a little early ahead of the guests and service was good the waiter was attentive; however, when it got busy service was hard to get.

I ordered a burger with fries. The waiter didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked, so I automatically assumed that it would be well done. Well, it was not. It was rare. The fries were good, they put lemon zest on them. Different, but good.

I would come back when it's not as crowded to give this place another try.

Their wine selection is definitely amazing but the food portions can be a little bigger. We were also seated in their upstairs dining area which was much louder than expected. I was gifted with a giftcard to spend so I came here to give it a try.

Karim is the best bartender in the building! He knows all his background from wine, champagne, culture! It's such a great spot to wine taste and find the wine that speaks to you for the night! They have a nice ambiance !! Either your downstairs where it's casual or you can get fancy and go upstairs where they offer private dinning! 10/10

What a surprisingly cute spot! I met a few friends here for an event. This was my first time and won't be my last. When you first walk in, you're greeted with a wall of different wines for purchase. There is a bar area in the front and a sitting area in the back. There is also a second floor that is more like a traditional restaurant. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartender who suggested a few different wine options. I went with a sweeter Chardonnay that was delicious and also available for purchase. I ordered the skirt steak. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. This is a wonderful place for a date night or girl's night. I will return and recommend trying this place when you want a glass of wine and upscale atmosphere.
