The late 1990s saw a relatively pedestrian sitcom about life in the office of a fashion magazine have success in NBC's Thursday night lineup. "Just Shoot Me", a David Spade vehicle, is relatively forgot. However, a reoccurring character, played by David Cross, still endures.

"Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie!" was a line he sang during a Season 3 episode.

Your greeted by a ton of smiling faces in this unassuming spot. Tables. Chairs. And a tough of nostalgia.

The food was fantastic. The chicken pot pie greets you as you enter - it's The CornerStone's signaty plate. It does not disappo. A thin, yet sturdy, golden crust covers the bowl edges. Underneath is all that chicken goodness. Nothing but "mmmm" being heard with every bite. A momentary smile punctuated with "this is good". Then back to the food.

The menu is extensive with so many choices. I chose an Oreo shake that was quite good. I gave a small regret that I didn't look over my shoulder to see that they serve apple, cherry, and key lime pie. My sister and mom took home the latter. It was gone as soon as we got home.

I can't wait to go back to try the other offering!

Still haven't heard from the owner regarding the sickness his business called. I was in the bed for a whole week throwing up from the raw chicken!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

We ordered from here because the lines are always ridiculous for breakfast. The food was really good and warm when it was delivered. I suggest the veggie omelette- it was packed with goodness!!

Yummy food in a very casual cafe!

My bf and I went here for brunch, and they had a massive menu, so plenty of options for everyone! They had vegetarian options, which is what I stuck to. I got the basil omelette which has ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, and basil in it. It was delicious but very heavy. It also made for good leftovers. It came with hash browns and a choice of a side, which I chose the French toast. Service was solid and quite fast. I drink a lot of water, especially since I went here after a workout and they made sure my water was never empty!

This is one of those places like a diner where they give you the bill and then you pay at the register by the front.

It is the best love the service and the food I am vision impaired when I need them to help me with the menu they do they also have great coffee

Great food, no suggestive sales from the waitress so take the time to read the specials around the restaurant. I really enjoyed my lunch and the pot pie carry out special I had for dinner was awesome.

I love the variety this place has to offer with it having smoothies, eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast. The customer service was great! Quickly greeted upon entering, accommodating, they even called to make sure they had the order right. I eat clean, local, organic. I'm a foodie so the food was what was lacking. The hash browns tasted bland like water and metal. The Benedict tasted like bacon which I'm sure so many people love but I'm vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian Benedict. I wouldn't mind the sub par food if the prices weren't so high. Other restaurants have better quality food, higher quality atmosphere for less.

Great atmosphere, nice wait staff, outstanding menu, everything cooked and presented very well! Will be visiting again and again!

We've been going here since they opened. Has al diner vibe, which we love!! Friendly service! Great waffles and egg dishes!!

Best cheese stuffed omelette around! Soooo many veggies and your choice of cheese. I also like the biscuits and gravy(white),hard to find white gravy here. Tastes sooooo good! Not that brown gunky stuff.
