Covington Complete Dentistry

I had been going to my previous dental office for over 18 years, I was accustom to the way they did things, to say the least. But the quality of care had changed and I felt it was time to see who else was out there.

Due to my family dynamics, we needed a dentist office that accepts Washington Health and Delta Dental. Dr. Kwok's office accepts both. His Staff was friendly and helpful right from the start, showing patience and kindness to me and with my previous dentist office when trying to get my family's past records and dental scans.

My cleaning and exam went well, no soreness afterwards, my teeth AND GUMS feel great. Dr. Kwok has a gentle touch, answered some concerns I had, asked questions about past dental procedures/history, and listened.

One thing that stood out about this dentist office is that both my hygienist Betty, and Dr, Kwok didn't sit. They stood and had my chair so that my head was at their level, no towering over, no uncomfortable dental chair maneuvers where the patient feels like they are going to be dumped on their head, and no hair pulling! LOL ..and believe me, I was constantly saying, "don't dump me on my head and don't pull my hair today" at every visit with my previous dentist. Not having this added stress was NICE!

I am definitely recommending Dr. Kwok and his office to others. I deleted review for my previous Family Dental office in Covington.

This place is amazing. I have a pretty heavy Dental Anxiety issue and they made me feel right at home. They did all the work in a very caring and speedy fashion, i barely had any pain. The ladies up front are awesome as well. I'll be making this my new home for all my dental work for sure!

This dentist office is the last place you should go to.
Teeth problems occur one after another after going here. Staff is unreliable and unprofessional. They take your money and cause you more problems to keep having you come back. Please find another dentist and DO NOT GO HERE!

I see the rating great So I selected this place.
In January I need to fix root canal and a new crown. After insurance covers but I still need to put of pocket $2800. I appreciate they let me arrange payment for 3 times.
I start my root canal fix in January. I need to go back 2 times to complete done. So it takes me up to 4 weeks done. The big bottom tooth is the only tooth I use to chewing and eating. After 8 months, in October 6th my crown was off. Bummer it was Friday the office is closed. I left emergency message and voice mail. I received text from Dr. Kwok ask me what is going on. I'm glad I received his text so I responded to him what's happened. But After that I didn't receive Dr. Kwok response . Then I would expect someone call me back on business day in morning. I didn't receive the call so I have to call at 10am on Monday Oct 9, I'm glad they let me come in on Next day and get it fix. I was happy till next day morning on Wednesday, my crown was off again. I call right away they tell me to come in at 3pm. I walked in the first thing reception tell me they are behind for over an hour wait. I asked why don't you called me to let me know it's delayed. She said she don't want to disappoint me because I need the tooth fix. I have no choice because I need my tooth fix so I was not very happy for the experience. I was told this place only have 1 Dr. So he is always busy so I would not recommend any of my friends.

This place honestly felt like i was being scammed for the clown festival I went through for a root canal.

The first visit the receptionist, brand new from what I was told, stopped halfway through our talk to go smoke outside, then came back to tell me the insurance I've had and used since 2006 for dental work 'didn't cover anything', saying it might be on a 'holding period'. I nodded my head, paid $900 out of pocket and left until the day she 'scheduled' me for the fitting.

Three weeks later I come back to two NEW receptionists, who tell me I never was scheduled for an appointment, and apparently my insurance is supposed to cover /all/ of my bill as I expected, minus a $50 copay to be covered in 2 weeks for the day they scheduled me in there.

2 weeks later, I return, get my tooth sized up for a crown to just now be made instead of a fitting, and I get told I have a final payment of $110 that insurance isn't covering. Annoyed, I pay for it and ask about the insurances again. I am told to wait 2-4 weeks for a call from them or my insurance about this situation, and here we have it, 2 months later and nothing...

If I could give zero stars for a scam I would.

Thank you to covington complete dentistry team for making me feel comfortable. I'm an extremely nervous wreck when it comes to the dentist that I haven't been in a very long time. The time here to the time to walk me though the steps to make me feel better and I'm so thankful they did. If you want a team that is caring and understanding this is the right place for you!

Not a credible organization in my opinion. They have consistently not provided accruate cost details in an apparent attempt to lure the patient into precieving the cost of the total treatment plan is far less than the total package actually is. It is an apparent strategy, in my opinion, to lure the patient so deep into their treatment plan, that the patient is coerced to paying way more, by many thousands in our case, to complete the treatment.

I absolutely don't recommend this business. If a business lacks the credibility to be up front with their charges, that business should not be trusted to touch your mouth.

I have a huge fear of needles so the numbing process is definitely my least favorite thing. But this dentist did SO GOOD I didn't feel anything at all! No pokes or anything!

Everyone there was so friendly and funny and I am so happy that I found such an awesome place for my dental work!

He even pulled 2 teeth at the same time and I felt nothing! I'm so happy! My nerves are calm and I will forever keep going here.

I have had nothing but exceptional service here. Everyone has made my experience so nice and easy. I'm not a total fan of the dentist in general but Dr. Kwok and dental hygienist Amber put me at ease. I can not recommend this place enough!

Dr. Kwok is amazing dentist that he saved my teeth and recommend to everyone. I had to have a implant procedure on my tooth.
He is very detailed oriented and skilled doctor that you can trust his skill and knowledge. Also he is very funny doctor which make me a smile.
Those are so important to me to relax during dental procedures. I really appreciate Dr. Kwok's professional
approach and detailed work. Since he fixed my teeth, I have no issues for a long time.
