Cozy Nails

First let me preface this with the fact that Cozy Nails ROCKS!

I recently had to change the nail salons because of moving and I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is when you have someone that knows what you want, knows how you want it and doesn't hurt you LOL.
I started looking at reviews...Yelp, Google, etc. and picked about five of them.

TOTALLY lucked out because the first one I went to I knew when I walked in (at least I was hoping when I walked in!! ) that it was going to be what I was looking for.

Other than the atmosphere, which immediately was VERY appealing, you look for attentiveness and a welcoming feeling when you open that door.

Next is the actual process of explaining what you'd like and having it done the way you like it done instead of the way they think it should be done.

This is where Calvin comes in. There aren't words to express how happy I am with his talent. He listens to what you want and is consistent in asking if he is doing what you like so you have a chance to say yes or no, because it's hard to tell somebody sometimes if you're not happy and he makes sure you are by actually inquiring while he works his magic!
He's also extremely nice, always smiling and dresses for success!

This was my third time and pretty much my deciding factor on staying with them in the future...
The salon is always immaculately clean and I got to see their Christmas tree last year and it was incredible and I wish I had taken a picture of it (has nothing to do with this review, but I had to put that in here because I was in awe!!) The place is also incredibly comfortable and they have state-of-the-art everything...the massage chairs are awesome!

Bottom line Cozy Nails 5 has stars for everything and I'm pretty critical.

See Vincent! I was a walk in & even though Vincent had limited time, he did a thorough & pretty pedi on my toes & feet! The vibe in the shop is relaxing & comfortable. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you Vincent & Cozy Nails

Vincent did my fingers and toes and he was seriously meticulous! He really took his time and took pride in his craft. I highly recommend the salon as it is super clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I will be returning :)

Nice family run place offering gel dip, acrylic, and regular nails. Meticulous, sanitary trimming and powerful massage chairs. We will be back!

I called ahead for a same day booking just to make sure they weren't full up, the man on the phone was very nice and we set a time. Upon arrival, I selected my polish color from their stock which seemed to have a decent array of colors. I was immediately shown to my pedicure chair after washing my hands, there was no waiting around involved which was appreciated.

The pedicure service itself was good, nothing *wow* that would warrant a five star review, but good quality work for the value. I only got a regular pedicure with polish change, no gel or dip services, so I can't comment to that. I do wish there would have been a little more exfoliation on the "tougher" parts of my skin as this was truly why I wanted a pedicure. It isn't about the nail polish for me, it's about the skin care too.

Overall, the place was clean, follows the Covid guidelines, and there was no waiting around involved.

This is my second time here and it's been absolutely lovely both times! The staff is super welcome and friendly, the first time I walked in they greeted me as if I had been going for years. The second time Helen remembered me and was very warm towards me. The staff is very knowledgeable and gave me pros and cons of the different polishes I was looking at (I had no idea what a powder fill was).
I have been to many of the nail salons in Virginia Beach and other cities and have never felt as welcome as I did here. Both times I've come my nails looked perfect and there was nothing to criticize. The tools and stations were very clean. Not to mention the large array of polished they offer. There is also a station of complimentary drinks for anyone. Definitely would recommend to a friend!!

I love this salon! I've returned twice and I'm completely sold. I took my daughter here for the kids pedicure and they treated her like the princess she is! They are very kind, professional & clean. Their floors literally have your reflection in them! If you want to support local small family businesses and be treated great, come here!

Love this place! I have been going to Calvin since his Pembroke Mall days and when he left that establishment I was so sad I decided to google his name. It was no surprise that he had amazing reviews at his new location as he is THE BEST. I am very meticulous and Calvin's attention to detail clearly meets and exceeds my standards. I live 30 minutes away, so for me to drive that far out of my way for a fill says a lot. A few of the ladies in the shop I remember from Pembroke Mall as well and when Calvin took vacation they would take care of me and no complaints from me. Cozy Nails is the place to go for cute nails that will last until you are ready for a fill!

Amazing nail spa! I have never in my life had a better experience. The salon was clean and organized, my mani/pedi was wonderful and looks great. I love that the staff is all family, you can definitely feel the love as soon as you walk in. I was treated better than I have at any spa before. Tyra and I talked and laughed the whole time I was there. I cannot wait to go back and take my daughter with me.
