It can be either really good or pretty terrible, a true hit or miss place. I have only ever gotten pizza there so I don't know if this is true for all of the food here. The first two times I have gotten pizza there the pies were really good, it's pretty much an upgraded version of the classic delivery style pizza (think papa John's). The third time I got one it was absolute garbage, two-three times as much sauce as the first two pies I got and way too much cheese, it was essentially soup on crust. Since I have had several good and bad experiences. This most recent time (the pie in the photo) it was not great, too little cheese, too much sauce, and soggy towards the tip of the slice. Honestly even though it's a bit of a coin flip, I'd still recommend it, when it's good it rivals just about any place around and is very reasonably priced.

I was beyond excited to introduce a friend to what I thought was a local gem, but what we experienced was nothing short of a nightmare. The food was so shockingly bad that we couldn't bring ourselves to take more than a bite. The pizza was soggy, flavorless, and resembled something you'd find in a school cafeteria dumpster. To make matters worse, the staff appeared to be high, and the whole place smelled like pot.
Adding insult to injury, the host, who was supposed to be managing the front of the house, was lounging at a booth with friends, openly drinking. It was incredibly unprofessional and gave the impression that customer service is not a priority at this establishment.
I am appalled by the lack of respect for customers and the total disregard for food quality. I will be disputing the charge for this meal on my credit card, as it was inedible and a complete waste of money. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this place at all costs.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2023
Crozet Pizza has great happy hour deals every day of the week. The service is great and the management seems very fun. They host great events like Glozet!! I love the night scene here. You can even go in the winter and they have fires set up outside. The ambiance at the bar is wonderful. I would recommend Crozet Pizza for any time of day. Fresh zens are their specialty drink so go ahead and try it out!

Great little venue with outdoor seating and live music. Fast service even on game day, and yummy food!

Be aware of the automatic 20% gratuity charge (We were a party of 2). There is no mention on the online menu, that they direct you to use, either. Make sure you ask for a physical copy of the receipt to ensure you're being charged correctly. We were charge full price for happy hour drinks. The server, who came to our table without a pen or paper, also rang my order wrong. I received a pizza instead of a calzone, but I happily accepted because I didn't mind the pizza.
2 stars because the food and drinks were good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - T K.Charlotte, NC114920Jun 2, 2023
Damn, the bartender is slow. Are they running a nonprofit or a business. Small line but still takes forever to get served. Emergency!!

Pizza is still at 3 stars-- decent but prices lean on the expensive side for what you get. However, I'm updating my review to give them another star because I really like the outdoor space, and it's my favorite bar on the corner. They convert to a college bar late night. The outdoor patio is awesome in the warmer weather and good for fresh air. I like that it's usually cleaner than the other bars on the corner. Sometimes they bring DJs or bands to perform on Friday nights so it's worth checking their Instagram to get an idea of the type of music they will have then.

They offer a good variety of flavors. It reminds me of MOD pizza with more side and drink options. The prices lean more on the expensive side. The Buddhist was good but definitely overpriced considering it costs $13 for the small and there is no protein. The Maui was mediocre for a pineapple pizza-- the pineapple did not taste fresh and appeared to be canned. However, I like that they have really nice outdoor patio seating. The restaurant is off of The Corner on Elliewood and the crowd gave me the impression that most customers are college students. Overall, I would come back on a nice day to sit outside with friends and bond over pizza. I don't plan to return alone or to order takeout again.

I had a great time getting pizza at Crozet with my friends. Crozet is a sit yourself place and they offer mostly outdoor seating with some indoor seating inside. I opted for the small personal Feisty Italian and felt very satisfied and full since my pizza was loaded with toppings. I will be getting the Feisty Italian the next time I come! The restaurant also offers vegan cheese which is a plus! Our pizzas came out hot and tasted like they came straight out of the oven. I also enjoyed the atmosphere at Crozet as a place to hang out with friends and grab a casual bite.

Traveling with a Hoo alumni, I had to try the Fresh Zen drink at Crozet. It was as great drink, and I can see the appeal of Crozet as a college student to hang out with friends in a casual bar. The exterior looks like a college house + patio, and walking inside I was surprised to see the bar and dine-in seating. They serve drinks in red cups, really giving the college vibe. There's a really nice outdoor patio with seats and also a bar that was not open at the time, with nice outdoor lights too.

I had to update my review because I'm so disappointed in this place!
I ordered the spinach artichoke dip (which comes with tortilla chips) and a small southern thing pizza for curbside pick-up. The bar is always 10-20 minutes behind their estimated pickup. Some nights I have waited as long as 30-40 minutes after their original asap ETA (estimated 10-20 minutes after ordering). Argh!
I wouldn't mind waiting if the food was good, but it's okay. But the spinach artichoke dip was really subpar. The smallest container of dip for a bag full of chips. Disappointing! Pizza is okay. Service is good, not great. And for what you pay, really not worth the time.
Went from a returning customer with a 5-star rating to a bummer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 8, 2020Previous reviewWhy bother getting late night Dominos when you can eat a personal pan pizza from this place?
Right in town near UVA corner, serving pizza and drinks. Got the summer thing (bbq chicken, bacon, and red onions). Really delicious and perfect size
