Crux Braiding

These ladies are absolutely wonderful! I left my daughter at 9am, she was completely done and ready to go at 3:30! Her hair turned out so cute. They do fast, meticulous, beautiful work!

My mother in law came and they did simple straight back cornrows charged her $60. I made an appointment for my son. Whose hair is NO LONGER than my mother in laws for the SAME EXACT SERVICE and they charged me $100.
The braids weren't anything special. The braider who goes by Blessed Mary was distracted, watching tv, messed up a couple times, took 2 hours to complete straight back cornrows.
Joy, you know that was wrong.
A disappointing experience. Did they charge me more because they figure someone like myself wouldn't notice? Prob is that I'm kind but can't fool me twice. All I know is I'll never come here again and I'll UNrecommend this place to anyone I know. Practice better ethical pricing

Found this place when I was looking for someone to braided my sons hair. The lady that braids his hair she does an amazing job. My son was going to her since he was in 6 in grades he is in high school 9th grader now. He just shows her the picture and knows exactly which style my son wants. Every time he walks out of that place, he loves his new hairdo. She makes him feel comfortable and always so nice with my son. Any style u want, she can execute it. Needs your hair braided stop by and check them out.

Thank you Joy for doing such an amazing job on my goddess hippie faux locs. I drive all the way from Petaluma and it is always worth the trip. I will be relocating to Santa Clara next week, and yes, I will continue to have you as my braider. I don't mind the drive at all. Your name fits you perfectly because you are such a Joy to be around and your energy and attitude is always positive, and so are the ladies at the salon. I'm so happy I found this place.

Very professional, clean and welcoming! Mary did my mom's hair in small two strand twists. We made an appointment two days before, and my mom was in and out in under three hours. We will definitely be back!

Joy does such a good job at braiding hair! I got medium sized box braids and they look so good. I called her last minute hoping to get my hair done before work and she came in at 6pm and got me out by 9pm. Super clean parts, sweet demeanor, and awesome attitude. Pricing was really reasonable and her shop is close to the gas station. 10's across the board!!!!

My braider's dad past away so I decided to look for someone until my braider felt better to get back into her salon. Anyway the lady who braided my hair did a horrible job. I will just let the photos talk for me lol. Customer service was also horrible. They wanted me to pay $150 for their shitty work that took 2 hours lmao idk how it could take that long and look so bad. Crooked lines and a chunks of hairs sticking out of the braids. It was a cash only spot which they do not state that over the phone when I made an appointment or when I arrived. So I was going to go to the bank and I was going to be nice and just give $50 just for the ladies time which I did not need too. Before I went to the bank I went home since I was just down the block from my house. When I got home that's when I realized it was worse than I saw at the salon. I was very upset and I took the braids out in the shower and decided I was not going to go back or pay anything at all. I then called and told them I took the braids out and I will not pay because the braid work was beyond bad. The Nigerian lady then threatened me saying watch when I see you on the street and calling me a thief. I drove back to the salon to show her I took out the braids and to confront her about threatening me. I would just stay away from this place entirely. They are the real thief for doing bad work and not wanting to fix it when I asked and pointed out the flaws and charge me $150 for simple box braids lol. If I was a thief why would I go back to the salon show you I took them out or call you back and tell you I'm not paying and took them out. They are just greedy ratchet people who try and take advantage of kind people.

Funny part is they tried to make their bad work was my fault saying my hair was to short and blunt, which is false because I get my hair done all the time and never have that issue I will also post a pic of my hair from my normal person it is a few days after being fresh braided but still looks a million times better.

I wanted to get my 8 year old some box braids and one day happened to drive by. If you blink, you just might miss it as I missed seeing it being open for two months even though I pass by this plaza daily! I circled back around and popped in to inquire about services and pricing and the ladies here are sweet and welcoming.

Maybe I just have a well behaved child but most salons are particular about servicing children, especially when they will need to sit still for 4-5 hours for a hairstyle like these braids. The woman who quoted me and booked my appointment also performed the service and she was so nice to my daughter. I really felt like I was hanging out at someone's house.

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get braids or twists of various styles they offer.

This place got me in last minute so I could look cute for my birthday! There was no discussion about changing the style I requested. Joy just got to work. She worked quickly and efficiently and even made me laugh. I'll definitely be back!
