Every March for the past 5 years, I have beeb calling on Cutting Edge for mulch spreading and spring cleaning. Stephen and his team have always done a fantastic job every year. Highly recommend them also for lawn maintenance and fertilizing.

What an incredible example of a friendly kind and honest small business. We have been working with CuttingEdge for 16 months and they have been so honest about what individual landscape plan would be the most beneficial and cost-efficient to our needs. Our outcome has been beyond expectations: our backyard has gone from 50% dirt and rocks to full lush grass in the last 16 months. I fully recommend this company if you want someone to listen to your needs and you can have to patience to see out the reward.

A very long overdue review of a wonderful, local business. We've been working with Stephen since we moved in almost 2 years ago - went with him after reading the prior reviews. Our lawn was just awful and we've been working with him ever since to get it back into decent shape. Very flexible on the timing (we cut every other week), offers spring/fall fertilizing and aeration. He does a lovely job in weed whacking after the general mow, and is always careful mowing around the gazillion flowers we've got for our pollinator gardens. Really glad we found him.

Awesome! Super helpful, does a great job. Priced really well too. I contacted CuttingEdge Lawncare Services late in the season and they were out within a few days to take care of my crazy overgrown lawn.

Steven is the MAN. Very professional and good work. He fixed up my hot mess yard at my house. No more nasty-grams about my yard from my HOA. Very reasonable prices too. His equipment broke once and he let me know he would be at my place the next day and he was! Cool guy. A one man band. Support local and call him!!

UPDATE: he's still a cool guy! Works quickly and fair pricing. He started a yard program so now i have grass and not as many weeds. My yard is the nicest around the block. He doesn't charge a lot but takes good care of me. I'm glad I called him. He's reliable and works quickly. Always seems to know what my yard needs and when it needs it. he's quick with texts and keeps a schedule. PLEASE call him for your yard needs.

I highly recommend Stephen and his lawn care services. We purchased our house a year and a half ago and from the get go the lawn was a mess. So much so it was overwhelming to even know where to begin on improving it. Stephen came in and cleaned up our mess of a yard far beyond my expectations. I gave him a budget and he stayed within that as well which was amazing. He was not pushy in anyway, extremely responsive and even when I was unsure about some things with our yard he was more than happy to educate me so I could make the best decision.


He is a local small business which is another piece I really enjoy this company!

9/5/18 Update: After last service back in April, our lawn was destroyed! Not sure what happened, but called, texted, and zero reply. I asked Steven just to come and evaluate what happened. I think he put too much lawn fertilizer on and burnt the lawn, both front and back. Why did he never get back to me?

6/1/17: All these good reviews are for a reason. I highly recommend Steven's company. Our town home lawn never looked better--front and back!! Very good guy to work with.

CuttingEdge has been servicing our lawn for the past 3 years and their service is nothing but remarkable!!! They started the yard work at our previous home and continued with 2 of our properties and did an excellent job each time. Our yard at our new property was a mess when we first moved in and the owner of the company Stephen gave us a detailed overview of what needs to be done in order to make the yard and grass healthy and within a few months our Acre+ yard looked lush and healthy. Their crew is well trained and do their job promptly and efficiently. CuttingEdge is a local small business, does their job well and their lawn care services are priced reasonably. We are happy customers, highly recommend them and look forward to use this company for years to come.

Text messaged the owner Stephen per his website. Stephen responded 2 days later & said he'd be out "early in the week" to take a look, thanked me for my patience. Never heard from him again, 3 weeks ago. If your plate is full, just say so...
