There shouldn't be any soy in egg noodles and broth. Unless you order tofu or edamame. You should be good

Do they have seating for a party of 5 or 6? Do they take reservations?

      A:

Next to the front windows it is possible to fit up to 6 ppl. However, it is so busy that trying to wait for all the tables to be available will be difficult. They have booth seating but for 4 people (2 on each side). We ended up getting split up -… more

Spicy miso ramen 4/5 - the flavor of this spicy miso is t my favorite but still tasty. Broth is really rich and thick. The portion size is also huge! Two people can share a combo

Fried rice 5/5 - this is probably my favorite fried rice. It's so good and tasty. The pork is tender and it's so flavorful. Portion size is also big

We came on a Friday night and got seated in 15 mins.

Write your name down, take a lap and come back. Definitely worth the wait. Everything was delicious, even the hot water.
Got the ramen combo with the fried rice and both were phenomenal. The broth was rich and the fried rice was so flavorful. Both were easily shareable and egg was perfectly cooked. It also came with a side salad which was yummy as well. We got the takoyaki as our appetizer and it did not disappoint. Very hot and the sauce didn't overpower.
We will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

There was a line so the wait was about 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. I had seen the reviews on this place was decent so I had some expectations.

I ordered the gyoza for appetizer and the Daikoku Ramen. Gyoza wasn't completely steamed before it was pan fried because all of them had a starchy flour taste in the white areas. The ramen was not bad: the broth had a nice porky flavor. The chashu was different but not quite tender.

I don't think the wait was worth it.

Great atmosphere! Everyone that were dining seems to really enjoy their food. First sip of the rich broth hit the yummy meter very high! All the plaques and awards reinforced its claims. The chicken karaage was easily the best I ever had. It was crispy, juicy and tender. They were huge pieces of chicken; cooked to perfection. The service was great and food came out fast. Priced reasonably well. The portions were big enough for big eaters like me lol. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to come back and try their other unique dishes. Don't get scared when you how far are you from the list. It goes fast. It's in the middle of Little Tokyo so public parking are everywhere.

I got the spicy miso ramen for take out. The quality of the noodles was really high and I loved how many green onions they piled onto the soup. The spice level was perfect too. I can take the heat and this ramen delivered in a way that was not too overwhelming but still had a spicy presence! Really hefty serving size.

I will say the pork could have been better quality. And the broth was really really really fatty and oily. Not the biggest fan of too much fattiness because it takes away from any clean feelings, but oh well, that's ramen in america for you.

Haven't been here in YEARS and it's mostly because we aren't in the area much but also because the wait times are always insane. Ever since they opened up outdoor seating though, it seems to be faster!

We got here around 9:30pm after we finished shopping and our friends were craving ramen. I'm not much into the soup/ramen scene but I'll eat their appetizers and whatever else.

We put our name down with about 5 other parties ahead of us. The host asked if we were fine with outdoor and we said yes. They have heaters which is convenient. We waited maybe 10 minutes top! Amazing!!

We sat down, ordered drinks and food pretty quickly and even the food came out super quick! We were there for maybe about an hour and that was it.

Extremely delicious food and huge serving. I only got gyoza because I wasn't very hungry since we had a late lunch but oh my god. Probably the best gyoza I've ever had! Super flavorful and doesn't fall apart like most. Everything was well kept together and I even tried a bite of my bf's spicy ramen which was delicious!! Too spicy for me but had lots of flavor. I might honestly get my own ramen next time. Exceptional service, they kept checking in on us and the heaters outside were perfect. They have tents as well so you're not completely out in the open in case it rains. Loud cars passing by but that wasn't an issue at all. It's downtown after all. Looking forward to coming back!
