Dallas Antenna

I contacted Kevin Hendryx (the owner) about a month before the installation and asked him to come out to the home to see what the final installation required. I offered to pay him for his visit. When the final installation was done, he provided the antenna (Televes 148883), the labor, his wife to assist him. All I provided was an extension cord for use in the attic. He did a fantastic job. We ended up with 84 more channels (for 6 Samsung Smart TVs).

I am really glad I asked for help with this project--first with "the antenna man" on YouTube, who recommended me to Dallas Antenna (Kevin). These jobs require more knowledge and skill than the average homeowner has.

Cory was fantastic! He had installed a new digital tv antenna, dropped cables and connected to both TVs in about 1 hour. He was self sufficient and had no difficulties at all. He then showed us everything to know about using the new system. He took time to explain the Channel Guide and DVR options available. It was a great experience.

Kevin was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and gave me multiple antenna options for our area. He had us up and running in no time. With his help, we were able to get 115 channels over the air.

I would highly recommend him if you are ever in need of getting rid of your cable bill!

We decided to "cut the cord" and replace our cable service with over the air / antenna TV. We are using an Antenna Direct ClearStream V4 antenna mounted 8 feet off the ground (not the best height for an antenna but the best we could do at this point.

We were picking up 72 local stations but had some issues with pixelation and dropouts and could not get the ABC Affiliate in DFW. We decided to hire a professional to resolve the problems. I checked with several companies in the DFW area many were focused on home theater installations and not equipped to solve an antenna issue.

Dallas Antenna was one of the few that specialized in over the air signals (TV, Satellite including StarLink). I contacted them about the issue and Kevin was back to me within the hour (really about 5 minutes) but I was delayed in answering him back. Kevin was able to set a time for the next day, and provide an approximate cost for a service call. Kevin arrive on time and we were off to a good start. He quickly determined the issues, one was in my set up, Kevin explained the options and advantages of each solution, including the costs associated.

He was able to realign our antenna to maximize the signal, installed a device to clean up the signal. The results were much better then I expected. We now have 90 channels on all TV's and I haven't seen any pixelation or drops on any of the primary channels. Kevin also let me know that channel 8.1 (ABC affiliate in DFW) also broadcast the same signal on 8.8. I point this out because the reception of channel 8.1 is weak but 8.8 comes in very clear.

If you need help getting the best over the air TV signal I would highly recommend Dallas Antenna.

Great job selecting and installing an antenna after the 2019 tornados destroyed one that had been up since the seventies. They were able to take care of everything. Came back twice to adjust and make everything right. Old school service, a rarity these days.

I sent a text, as requested, and never received a reply. If a company requests this form of communication, they should be diligent about responding. Therefore, can only appropriately give a single star.

I received a reply to my review from Kevin and I take his word that they never saw my text. I am raising my review to 3 Stars in acknowledgement of his response. This shows a fundamental problem with texting- the communication is one-way at a time. There is no feedback if the original text is lost, regardless of the reason. Cautionary for all small businesses.

Kevin came out today and in about an hour and a half had me set up with a Clear Stream C2-V-CJM long range HDTV antenna. Great high quality pictures along with 85 channels on 2 TVs.
He was very professional and courteous and took the time to run through channel line up. Wish I would have known about Dallas Antenna sooner.
Cut the cord baby!

Dallas Antenna deserves my highest recommendation. I called them after I began having increasing reception issues, poor or dropped signals at the most irritating times. I had installed my antenna myself, so after doing some research and trying everything I could do--to no avail--I contacted Kevin and he came out with Cory to investigate. They didn't discover the problem on the first visit, but adjusted my antenna for an improved signal.

But I wanted not an improved signal but a perfect signal, as I had when I installed my antenna a few years agio, so I asked them to persist. Which they did. On two subsequent trips to my house they added a top-of-the-line, high-gain antenna (no help) and split the signal across two antennas (no help), scratched their heads and promised to return.

On the fourth trip, they had the answer ready. A new hotel was under construction exactly on the path between my house and the broadcast tower. I had known about the new hotel, but hadn't guessed that it was blocking my line of sight. That was the cause of the problem. As the hotel went up, my signal went down. There was nothing to be done. They removed the high-gain antenna, refunded my purchase and tweaked my signal again, to my satisfaction.

The pricing was phenomenally fair, given four trips. They made no excuses, but persisted with great professionalism in a sincere effort to solve my problem, which I greatly appreciate. Kudos and highest compliments to Kevin, Cory and Dallas Antenna.

Surprised my husband for Christmas and had a cell phone booster installed. Dallas Antenna came out the same day I contacted them to do a site survey and communicated with me expectations regarding service in my area. He answered the 100+ questions I had until I was ready to install. We went from no cell service in our home to 4 bars! He arrived on time for the install, explained everything to me that he was doing and was very professional. I am happy to recommend Dallas Antenna just for their customer service alone.

I used them a couple of weeks ago to diagnose a problem on an antenna I had had installed. Took the tech about 10 minutes to figure it out and fix it, do I now get all the channels I wanted to! Wish I had called them FIRST! Definitely recommend them. He also did a lot of troubleshooting via text before he ever came out trying to fix it.
