Danny Mahelka - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

I can't praise Danny enough. He's so buttoned up, punctual and does what he says he'll do. He made what was a very stressful situation bearable and got us what we needed very quickly. If I bought and sold properties for a living, he would be the guy I'd go to. No BS, no nonsense and yet a really nice guy. What could be better?!

In reading Danny's other reviews what more can be said? But let me tell you my experience, without emotion, and as one who shoots straight from the hip. First, Danny has represented me with all my real estate transactions since my first home purchase way back in 1997, when he was fairly fresh in the business. (This is, except for one sale in 2005 that I sorely regret not contracting with him on, and I know I left money on the table because of this.)

Now even way back in 1997 he had the people skills and real estate knowledge to effect real estate deals with aplomb on both sides of the transaction, buyer or seller. Whatever side of the transaction you were on you just knew you were in good hands.

Coming to the present, it has been a few years since he last represented me (2008) and I see the same ol' Danny of that era...confident, consummate, and caring in pretty much all aspects of the sale, from beginning to end, whether it be helping his client realize the best strategy and price for the sale, or with buyers in hunting down the property that is the right one for their needs and making sure the best price for the property is had.

But I have noticed throughout the years that Danny has picked up valuable nuances in the way he structures a property for sale that gets results and, as a buyer, has garnered even more of that innate sense of his in finding the right home AND NEIGHBORHOOD, and that makes Danny a Realtor that is head and shoulders above the rest in closing the sale with happy buyers and sellers all around.

Of course we buyers and sellers should do our 'do diligence' and interview a couple of respected Realtors. I must say that Danny should definitely be on your short list . I am pretty sure the lion's share of you out there who have Danny over will just know that he is the right Realtor for you.

This is the second transaction in less than 6 months with Danny Mahelka. He was the listing agent doe my mom's home that sold above list price and a 8 day escrow. He was phenomenal. And then my mom decided to return to Los Angeles in December and Danny became aware of a condo before it went to market, notified my mom and once again the escrow closed in less than 15 days. Danny Mahelka is absolutely and definitively who you want to use whether you are selling a property or buying one.

If I could give Danny more stars I would! He has helped us sell three homes and buy two over the last 12 years, and each experience has been terrific. He'll tell you very honestly what to do to properly stage your home for photos and viewings, trust his advice! All 3 of our sales have gone for over asking (the most recent one by a large amount) and he was integral in helping get us into our previous home during a multiple offer situation. Eric handled all of the appointments very professionally and made us feel comfortable with the whole viewing process. If we ever come back to California, Danny will be the first call we make to look for a new home.

Danny and his team did an outstanding job helping me sell my West Hollywood condo. I interviewed three different agents before deciding to go with Danny, because I liked his friendly and honest approach, as well as his experience and knowledge of the market. Selling a property during Covid had unique challenges, and Danny and Eric handled them with grace and a positive attitude. Excellent communication as well. I absolutely recommend if you are looking to buy or sell a property.

I have had no experience of purchasing different houses. Danny was honest, patient and every time guide me with explanations of all processes, attention and quick responses.

I recently sold my home to buy a condo as I travel allot for work, and the upkeep of a house was too much. I interviewed four different Brokers and selected Danny Mahelka to sell my house. He was the only broker who had a full business plan on what he was going to do and how he was going to do it in order to get my home sold. He had a full marketing outline that was far beyond any of the other agents I saw.
