I haven't been able to reach this shop. Are they still in business? Their website is down, the Facebook posts are several years old, and the phone is disconnected. Does anyone know anything?

Eureka, I found Sonoma Counties Best Vacuum repair shop, and more!
I showed up on Friday with my broken Oreck and was greeted by Keith, the owner. I caught him at just the right moment, and he took my cleaner to the back; I swear he repaired in in less than 5 minutes. He replaced the bad roller and the belt and it was ready to go. My cost, $32.50 for parts and installation, Unheard-of!
Keith is friendly and very knowledgable about all brands of vacuums. I would recommend to anyone shopping for a new vacuum to consult with him, since he knows which are made well and the others that come in for repairs more often.
Keith carries a great inventory of rug cleaning shampoos, replacement parts and a selection of Fuller Brush products!
This shop is ran in the old school fashion of focus on the customer, quality and repairs.
Highest Recommend from appreciative customer!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Marcia J.Petaluma, CA26121May 5, 2021
I rely on Danny's vacuums for the best deals and used vacuums. I have been a customer of Danny's for about 25 years and never was disappointed. The owners are hard working, kind, and they care that I receive the best product for my money.
Please don't ever retire. I would be lost for cleaning advice if you weren't there.
Thanks for the years of wonderful service.

Sad News...They are closed permanently. Just called today (5/31/2022) to confirm I could drop off 2 Hoovers for maintenance and was told they have closed. They were a great repair shop.

I know that in this crazy world, the topic of vacuum cleaner repair is neither exciting or sexy, and they may be good at it as have some positive reviews here. But I found the customer service aspect to be somewhat lacking.
Several days before a diagnosis of the failure was performed, phone calls not returned as promised, just not in any kind of hurry to help me decide if it was time to buy a shiny new replacement unit or not.
Finally, they called to announce that parts were no longer available for the 20 year old machine, so I ended up purchasing a new replacement Hoover upright.
I'm an easy going, easy to get along with guy, but I found the experience of using them to be irritating and negative. And I am sorry to report the truth.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rhita B.Santa Rosa, CA9012733Mar 29, 2021
We have a Dyson Animal that needed repair. He did a great job, and saved us so much money. Dyson does not recommend this guy, but they should! Turns out they don't really recommend anyone!

I had a Dyson DC25 ball vacuum that I brought in for repair because it stopped standing upright.
The technician came out front to examine it and he was kind enough to show me why it wasn't working (There was a court clearly in the wrong spot) I told him all I know is the screw fell out and quit quit working.
He said that it was beyond repair and lead me to purchase a new one or used one instead.
I went home and examined the part and I figured out where it was supposed to be. I watched videos for 20 minutes and then had it repaired in another 30. And I'm not a repair man.
It's a shame that he couldn't have told me what he really thought, did you not like working on Dyson Vacuum's? maybe he just wasn't feeling good that day I don't know but the end result was I almost lost a really great vacuum.
I suggest you be wary with this repair person they may be very skilled but if they're not in the mood to fix your vacuum watch outHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gina M.Santa Rosa, CA21081Sep 5, 2020
Sitting outside Danny's, really unhappy, for the second time in two days.
I called on Thursday to ask if they worked on Dyson, they gentleman told me yes and I asked for their hours the following day (Friday). He told me they were open from 10-5.
I scheduled my entire morning around being able to travel to RP (if you have two kids under 5 you know what a feat this is) and headed up Friday at 11am.
When we arrived they were closed. A bit frustrated, but assuming the best, I called and left a message asking for them to call when they were open so I could come back.
I got a call this morning from a gentleman explain they were having trouble with work on the parking lot yesterday (which was true. But there were plenty of open spaces when I showed up), and that they were open today.
I packed up the kids once again and headed in only to have them tell me it was Dysons problem after asking me what the issue was.
Gee; that would have been nice question to ask me when I called and asked if they worked on Dysons so I didn't waste HOURS of my days two days in a row!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Phyllis A.San Francisco, CA010Jul 4, 2021
I have lived in Rohnert Park for 46 years and have gone to this shop for bags or small things. Recently my Bissell rug cleaner would not disperse water. I had hit the side of a door way and thought maybe the sensor was out. Brought it in , Keith was not there on a Sat. I had to get someone to bring it for me because too heavy for me. The young man, took it and said I would get a call back.
I waited three days called them and was told they couldn't get the part. They recommended Redwood Vacume on Piner road in Santa Rosa.
It would have been nice if they had called me back. I had to get someone to meet me to pick it up and bring to Redwood vacume
They were so nice at Redwood, told me this happens a lot with the Bissell rug cleaner and said it was the sensor. Charged me 15.00, but it would be applied to the repair bill.
Danny's has a lot of 5 stars, so they must be good, but the customer service leaves something to be desired as I noticed a few comments on some reviews about it. I guess it all depends on who waits on you. I will continue to go for bags, but not for repairs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sue S.Santa Rosa, CA891Jun 2, 2017
This is the ONLY place you should go to have your vacuum repaired! What a gem! I brought in my Panasonic vacuum (still running since I purchased it in 1985!!), heartbroken and afraid it could not be repaired. (I admit, I am very attached to this vacuum - it is perfect in every way!) I was vacuuming and ran it into a wall (by mistake), and it kind of broke it! Argh!! Because it was so old, they were up front about being able to find a replacement roller - loose bearings. No charge if they could not fix it, $45 if it were repaired.
I was overjoyed when the owner Keith called to tell me it was ready to pick up! He was able to repair the roller, and cleaned the vacuum up nicely. I told him I had been a fan of another repair shop in Santa Rosa on 4th street, until I sensed they were being a bit shady. But not so at Danny's. No bait and switch, nothing shady, ready when promised. Just an owner who is an expert with vacuum repair and intent on providing the best, most honest customer service. Like I said, it's a gem!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rose K.Santa Rosa, CA15261Jul 1, 2021
The hose on my Dyson Animal cracked and I needed a replacement. I brought the vacuum into the shop so I could be sure to get the right replacement. The person at the counter (I'm assuming it was Keith) was great- he put the new hose on for me and disposed of the broken one. Even better, his price was better than Amazon. $20 plus tax. I'll definitely return here if I need any other parts or service for my vacuum.
