Local pharmacy with that personalized touch. If you are unhappy with the service that you get from the chain pharmacies then you will love Davis Islands Pharmacy. I travel a good 15 miles each way to patronize this location. If there is an issue with your prescription they will communicate with your doctor and insurance proactively instead of waiting for you to contact the pharmacy (you know, like many of the chain stores do). Anyway, give them a try and I promise that you will be happy that you did.

Best pharmacy in Tampa Bay. Service is always personal and responses are quick. Such a refreshing change from the big box chains.

I've been their customer for many years and while they were very good approximately 7 years ago they no longer are. Specifically, they lose some of my orders, they do not ship prescriptions automatically even though they say they do and I've been asking for this for 3 years, they don't always contact my Physician in a timely fashion when my prescription needs to be renewed.

The last straw was an employee named Ryan who seemed to take perverse pleasure in being able to deny a request I made today. The way he handled my call was strange and intentionally unhelpful. My guess is he doesn't enjoy his job.

So there you go, just some facts so you can decide for yourself if this place is worth it. In my opinion it isn't any longer.

The best!! I was on vacay in Tampa and needed a compounded Rx. No other pharmacy would help me, they all had 2 week wait lists, and I was beginning to panic going without necessary meds for an autoimmune disease.

Davis Islands Pharmacy literally saved my life filling my complicated prescription the very same day.

They coordinated with my Dr and pharmacy back home and made sure I received exactly what I needed for my full week long stay.

I usually pick up my pets' medication from here when they are sick. I have used this pharmacy about 3 or 4 times now. The staff are always quick and helpful. For pets, they offer you a choice of different flavours to add to the medicine (fish, chicken, etc.) which I thought was very cool.

The pharmacist or tech calls you when they receive your prescription and asks if you prefer to text when it's ready, which I found convenient. They also give you the store hours so it's clear when they will be open for you to pick up your medication.

Walking into Davis Islands Pharmacy is like walking back in time where customer service was priority #1 and all the staff knows all the customers by name and vice versa. I go there for my cat's insulin because my vet found them to be the cheapest in town. I was surprised that they are so personable and helpful. It's an experience that you will never get at chain pharmacies and the fact that the meds I go there for are cheaper than anywhere else makes it that much better of an experience. It's a wonderful pharmacy and I can't recommend them highly enough!

I moved to Davis Islands three years ago. I went to this pharmacy to start my prescriptions. The people are very friendly, and will answer any and all questions with pleasure. The store itself does remind me of my corner drugstore many years ago. There is even a small post office in the back corner! Another thing I like is the nice assortment of sodas you don't see everywhere else like Grape Nehi! I just love this place!

I live downtown so I have chosen this pharmacy as my go to and I love it. It's very small and gives you a small town feeling. All the employees know me and always recognize me and are always super nice. The place is very clean and has a homey feeling. I never have any issues or long waits when dealing with my prescriptions.

I have been using Davis Islands Pharmacy for years. I started because of their compounding lab but I use them for all Rx needs. I like that they know me by name, are good pharmacists, and have provided explanations and advice when requested for my prescriptions. I also love their store. It's worth it to me to drive a little further to use them than to just go to whatever Walgreens or CVS.

Best pharmacy and pharmacists ever!! They are the hardest working people I know. Always willing to help and put the customers first each and every time. I wouldn't consider anywhere else but Davis Island Pharmacy !
