Yes it's literally right next to the Gas Station & pumps, but it's REALLY GOOD!
The staff was super friendly and helpful, just wish their manager would help them get more organized(explaines the star missing). If they can do that, watch out because these guys could go up against any fun food establishment in California.
The Food is FANTASTIC!! Totally worth the wait, everything we had was good. We can't wait to try more types of Dazzle Dogs.
We tried a Dazzle Shake and you can see from photos why these shakes are totally worth the $15 per Shake. The people putting these together are really talented and treat it just like an art form ( which it totally is). We just can't say enough good things about the food.
We will go back. :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Shibu M.Lawrenceville, GA67263Aug 26, 2023Updated review
Got the original steak hoagie for the 3rd time in years. Just to be clear This place does not make cheesesteaks, it's more like a chopped steak sandwich or sloppy Jo style sun minus the tomato sauce. The add a sauce to the sandwich , even if you order without the sauce it's always added. I think they are just hiding the quality of the meat. The bread is like cafeteria quality. Oh did I mention this basic sub cost a whopping $18! WTH! The best sandwiches in Atlanta dont even cost this much. Dazzle dogs gas station restaurant is a joke. I really can only recommend hot dogs for the kids here. Don't waste your time or money here

The owner/ head cook likes to sexually harass women there. My fiancé ran in to pay and pick up the food for us, while I went next door to the gas station for soda's. She says she was verbally violated and didn't acknowledge anything he was saying but he kept pressing on.
I thank the lord my daughter was not with her to listen to the slimy comments the owner was saying to my fiancé. She stated that we will never return there even though we're from Philly and no other cheesteak places around the county.Jun 23, 2018Previous reviewBeware this place is a nightmare! My first trip I ordered takeout and love my cheesesteaks since I'm from Philly. I was told my order would be ready in 15 mins, 25 mins after my call I arrived and the husband/cook didn't know there was a ticket for an order so I waited another 10-15 mins. While my food got started cooking he argued with his wife/ front cashier woman very loudly and publicly and even in front of their 2or 3 children wandering around in the cooking area. Made me extremely uncomfortable to wait in the mini dining area. Part of my order had a milkshake which had a milkshake and it couldn't fit in my cup holder and had no one else in the car. But this is no ordinary milkshake it had cheesy m&m decorations and the cup is bedazzled with tons of them and the ice cream overflowing and melting, it was so dangerous to drive home on my very curvy route with this in my hand and juggling to steer and not make a mess in my car. I contemplated on throwing this away, but didn't want to disappoint my daughter. They should really make a to go option for a milkshake. Got home safely and my cheesteak is messy disaster and sticking to the wrapper badly and it was tough to separate the wrapper from the cheese. The bread was soggy and fell apart after my short 2 min drive home. But their cheesesteaks are made with their signature sauce which was not for me, but I didn't know what to expect to begin with. Their fries are great and similar to "five guys" fries. My child only ate 3 bites of her milkshake and was overwhelmed by it's overkill of decor and ice cream sandwich and tossed it away! All that for nothing. So I thought about returning here again, so I would choose my food wisely this time on my second visit. I asked for a cheesesteak without the signature sauce and will give them a second chance and have a realistic Philly cheesesteak! Again I was told my order will be ready in 30 mins, arrived in 30 mins and the cashier/ son is terrible at his job! Please hire some real restaurant experienced help... so I waited a total of an hour and a half for one cheesesteak and fries. Got home and flipped out, I asked for no sauce on my sandwich but long behold I had the unappealing sauce that I made very clear I did not want on my cheesesteak!!!! I threw it in the trash, to me the it was ruined!!! But hey the fries were good! Plus I got no apology for waiting as long as I did their kids customer service skills are the worst! I will never return again, and highly advise anybody else to not try this place out, unless you can deal with stupidity and have an insane amount of patience. I'm still astonished how the description of my takeout request says "No signature Sauce" and the owner/cook failed it miserably! This is my honest review and gave this place a 2nd chance. One last thing, I'm hearing impaired and the cashier wouldn't speak up and let me know how long I would have to wait. He just kept saying soon, but I had to ask him to repeat everything over and over and it's bluntly obvious that I need you to talk louder than a Mouse whisper. This place has been open for a few month, but it always feel like it's the grand opening week and the struggles to run properly shows it with the other customers I've seen in there. If this place doesn't try to be nice or change its childish operations it will be 2nd or 3rd restaurant to fail at that location! There is NO similar restaurant competition in Lawrenceville or even all of Gwinnett and they should be so Successful and be the busiest cheesesteak Joint north of Atlanta/ Decatur.

Their times are inaccurate. I asked them about their times and got no response and was left on read. I attempted to go there on three separate occasions with friends and they've been closed all three times though I can see there's an employee in the building looking like he's hiding.
My friend sent a message at a different time and got an immediate response saying something about their kids were slacking? I guess I didn't deserve a simple response for some reason and had no idea until my friend showed me several hours later. Cool cool cool. That's my third strike I'm not gonna give this place a chance if they can't even have employees.... Their children(?)... that know how to open the business.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 51118169Feb 27, 2022
The place is attached to the Chevron gas station. Heard about it on social media and decided to try the dogs. Pretty good! We had chili dogs and slaw dogs. French fries look like real potatoes and appear to be hand cut. Seasoned well. We also tried the turtle caramel shake which was excellent. All food is made to order so you will wait about 20 minutes to get your order. They also have these massive $15 shakes that looked like a work of art. We will try one of those next time.

Great dogs! Dazzle Dogs was recommended by a friend of my wife's. Long drive, but worth every bite. We got the original with chili and coleslaw. I got the Beagle with relish, onions and sport pickles. The fries were hot. Debating a shake. Oh yeah, we'll be back!

Hot doggy dawg! I've been looking for a good hot dog place. That went beyond the standard ketchup, mustard, onions and kraut.
It reminds me of Pink's in Los Angeles, they have a variety of different ways the dogs are prepared and they are filling. It's a little on the pricey side, but this place is locally owned and the owners take good care of you.
We ordered a few different dogs to get a sampling of their dogs. It was important that the buns were moist and soft AND the dogs held a snap.
Our favorite, the Xolo dog (crumbled bacon, salsa, guacamole, onions, jalapeños and cheese) - the brightness and acidity of the salsa and jalapeños made was a nice contrast.
The Dalmatian was a close second (chili topped with Mac & Cheese) - we appreciated that the Mac and cheese was grilled on the cooktop, it had a wonderfully cheesy crust.
The Rottweiler (grilled peppers & onions, fried potatoes and cheese) - this was good but wished the fried potatoes were a little crispier. I think if we are at the place, the experience would have been better.
The St. Bernard (Fritos, Chili, Shredded Cheese) - the Fritos was a nice touch, it was a bit foreign but can see the appeal of the textural contrast.
Chili Cheese Fries with Jalapeños - there are no beans to be found in the chili, smothered with cheese and sitting on top of crispy fries. Was food coma haven.
Overall, the dogs were all solid on their own merit. I appreciated the snap of the dogs and bun consistency. This place is now my go to whenever I'm craving a hot dog.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Sara H.Lawrenceville, GA291141Jan 3, 2023
Arrived at Dazzle Dogs 6:30 Friday night. Just wanted a shake. Owner refused to make one stating that he made so many today that he didn't feel like doing another. We thought he was joking. Then he said and who comes in this late for a shake? Are you serious? I've been so looking forward to trying this joint for the first time and your refuse to serve me? I'll never set foot in that place again. So rude.

They have gone through a re-model recently and I fear this is the end for them. Went by today for lunch because I am familiar with some of their variations of Philly sandwiches that are really good.
I was greeted very awkwardly by a lady in plain clothes just sitting in the restaurant. Menu has been stripped down to virtually nothing but Philly Chicken and Philly Steak. Food portion was noticeably smaller. I absolutely could not believe that a sandwich, fries, and a drink was $22.
Sad to say, I will not be returning. As I read over the other reviews, it sounds almost like they are intentionally running this place into the ground with how poorly it is being managed. I will miss it very briefly, but this is not how it all works.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - LaTasha A.Lawrenceville, GA207309444Mar 18, 2022
Came in for desert treat and to support this black owned restaurant. The shakes were very "watery" not sure if that's to stretch (and use limited actual ice cream) or what? But you loose the flavor of the ice cream because of the water taste. Definitely over priced. But again trying to support. Unfortunately, there are other establishments that are expensive like this for unique deserts, but use only ice cream. The large amount of water in the shake is the reason for the low stars and the reason I cannot pay that price to support in the future.
