Are they cash only? Its been long time , I'm forgetting and covid, just wanna know
A:
They used to be cash only, but now they accept credit card! I think there's a minimum purchase, but it's low and easy to hit, especially if you're ordering more than one dish!

Ordered the wonton and beef stew noodle soup to go.
I found it a bit pricey for the portion size but it was good. Wontons were tasty and the sauce from the beef stew mixed with the soup and noodles made the flavor better.
Would definitely come back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenny B.Chino Hills, CA509439497Mar 25, 2024
Wanted to try a an eatery that I've been hearing about from a colleague who practically goes there every weekend.
It's a Hong Kong style restaurant. They have a pre-breakfast style menu to choose from. A coffee, porridge, bun, or noodles to choose from.
Our group decided to try the regular menu instead.
We had
Fried sweet potato which is always good no matter where you order it from.
The beef rice noodle which just ok. I had better.
The mix vegetables was delicious.
The ground beef and white rice was so much better than I originally thought. I would have never order it if it weren't for a friend insisting on it. It just looked so plain. Boy was I wrong. The flavors of the beef tasted so good with the plain white rice mixed together.

This is one of the places to go to if you like Cantonese Food. I have been to another location before, but it seems like this owner knows what they are doing. The servers inside great you when you walk in, and I was happy to know some of them were even bilingual, so I could be able to ask a question in mandarin I may have forgotten in Cantonese. This place is right in the split between Hacienda and Rowland, in the same plaza as 165 market. Plenty of parking. Inside is pretty big so you can bring a bigger size party here I'm sure. One thing I really appreciated was the attentiveness of getting my kid a high chair, and even giving plastic utensils (what we usually have to ask for).
Food
They have a HUGE menu, but I made sure to take a look around to see what people were ordering. Our family favorites was the minced pork with egg on rice. This was so delicious. They can adjust the spicy level, but I would recommend having it w the peppers. I'm salivating thinking about this dish as I am writing this. I haven't had good pepper salt wings for a while, and was glad I ordered it here. Love the jalapeño inside, i could probably eat a whole bowl of rice w just that dish. Also can't go wrong with the traditional HK lemon tea. Not too sweet, refill included.
Will def need to stop by again and try some of the breakfast items and congee. Can't wait, until next time !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jan 14, 2024
I am obsessed with Hong Kongnese breakfast. Here at Delicious Food Corner, you'll find a very delicious breakfast corner.
The breakfast menu isn't as confusing as other places. You have your choice of an entree should it be a congee/noodle special or a Hong Kong western combo. Then you get to choose how to make your special or combo with a smaller dish. All come with a beverage (hot coffee, hot tea, or milk tea). And almost everything runs you around $12. What. A. Steal.
Sometimes I'll switch things up and order a Western combo special. I like the spam and egg sandwich ($10.75). It's nothing fancy; just a piece of spam and fluffy scrambled eggs sandwiched between two slices of lightly toasted white toast. Add a dollop of their chili crunch and this makes for one terrific bite - it's a buttery, salty bite with a little bit of a kick.
My favorite side piece is the soy sauce chow mein. These egg noodles are an oddly comforting way to start the day. They can be dressed up with some chili crunch or just eaten on their own.
This DFC location is pretty spacious with plenty of tables. I also like this particular location only because the wait staff don't feel inconvenienced and I don't feel rushed when ordering. If you love a good breakfast, I highly recommend trying a Hong Kong style breakfast. And if you already love a Hong Kong style breakfast, DFC is a solid choice to get yours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2023
The ultimate no frills Hong Kong comfort food.
The menu is very extensive and has everything you can possibly crave for. They are still missing some other items you can get from Alice's Kitchen, but this place is closer and more convenient to go to for me personally.
I always get the soy sauce chow mein, the beef rice rolls, and preserved egg congee. Other honorable mentions are the pineapple bun with the butter inside and the curry balls. If you're craving it, they most likely will have it.
Ambiance is casual and can be loud but it adds to the experience. Service is what you can expect from a Hong Kong casual diner.
Free parking in the plaza can be hard to find at peak hours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Feb 8, 2024
This place is all about Hong kong food! My family and I come here whenever we're in the area and want a nice brunch, I like how they have breakfast specials, western or Chinese style so there's a variety to choose from. I like their chow mein and pineapple bun, but everything else is not too bad.

This new Chinese restaurant is nested in a shopping area. This is a great place to go for comfort Chinese breakfast. Restaurant is clean. Service and price is reasonable. Extensive menu for entrees, noodles and porridge. We ordered Beef Stew soup noodle, Sautee Thaishan Cauliflower with Chinese sausage, Sizzling Beef Udon with Black Pepper. All three dishes were quite good. Dishes are good portion. My parents loved this place. Definitely will come back. Inside sitting only. No pets allowed.

Overall, the food was meh for me. We had the fried chicken wings, minced pork with egg and rice, and kung pao chicken. Some of the fried wings were a little undercooked for me. The garnish was too salty. Minced pork was alright, nothing special. Now, the kung pao chicken...I'm a big fan of Panda Express' kung pao chicken, and the one here was bad. It's more of a soy sauce chicken with bell peppers, peanuts, and tons of onion (yes, almost half the dish was onion), than kung pao chicken.
Service wise, we had to remind them to bring our water.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elina J.Rowland Heights, CA23187402Jan 6, 2024Updated review
Usually come here for breakfast, so decided to give dinner a shot. The Chinese cabbage and beef brisket curry were soso... the salt'n pepper calamari and chicken wing were good. The Thai fish was good too.
We stayed late and didn't realize they closed already. The staff were super nice and didn't rush us at all.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 26, 2022Previous reviewThe food at this place is nostalgic. It brings back memories of the old school HK style cafes and hanging out with old friends drink the same drinks from years ago.
I usually have breakfast here, the porridge and rice rolls. This time I ordered their beef with turnip stew. It was cooked thoroughly and everything was nice and tender. The flavor was just right.
The leftovers were still good overnight, not like most takeouts. Forgot to take a picture when I got the order. So I'll share a picture of the leftover with rice, lol.
