Q:
Do they still serve dim sum?
A:
Yes, we had No Mai Gai and Siu Mai this past Sunday. There is a separate dim sum menu, no carts.

Love the food here and the speed of how fast the food arrives at our table after ordering! We are super fans of this place! Irvine doesn't have many places where you can buy roasted duck. The food is good and reminds me of my childhood restaurants I used to go to in the SGV.
Highly recommend!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kevin J.Los Angeles, CA142337Apr 23, 2024
The food is so so and very pricey. The chicken pot we ordered is too greasy, covered with heavy batter, can't taste much real flavor.
The service is terrible. There is none. Nobody gave us water until we asked. No water refilling, no engagement at all. We don't even know who is serving our table.
Other delicious food corner locations like Rowland Height has better tastes and service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 3, 2024
Beef Stew Wonton & Chow Mein!!!
After friend mentioned this place so we just stopped by to grab a quick dinner. We got seated immediately and ordered very fast.
I loooooveeee the egg noodles in the wonton soup. The flavor of the soup was also very good. It was very tasty!! The one thing about the chow mein was there were a lot of bean sprouts and not much noodles.
Nonetheless, evetuthing was tasty and everything was quick which I liked!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 162405621Apr 2, 20241 check-in
Overall: Although the seasoning is a little heavy handed, Delicious Food Corner still lives up to its name. I'm giving it a bump up to 5 because it was more enjoyable to eat here than other casual Chinese restaurants.
Food: 5
Three Delicacy Combination Platter allows you to pick 3 of the BBQ options. We opted for BBQ pork, crispy roasted pork, and soy sauce chicken. All 3 were well cooked and not dry. The roast pork skin was indeed crispy and the 5 spice marinade was not too strong.
Sautéed Taishan Broccoli with Preserved Meats: The vegetables were not soft and overcooked and the salty fatty preserved meats went well with the vegetables.
House Special Fried Vermicelli came with eggs, seafood, and Chinese sausage. It was a little too salty and had to be sent back. It was still salty but more bearable the second time.
Service: 4
The servers did not rush us throughout the meal. When we sent back the vermicelli dish, they were willing to either refund us or redo it and did not fight us about it.
Ambiance: 4
The restaurant was well lit and fairly clean. The bathrooms could use a little tidying but we also came at the end of the night.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - 80116211Mar 25, 2024
TLDR: A Cantonese style cafe that has all the favorites one would need when trying to mimic Hong Kong. The food is more expensive that its cousin from Monterey Park, but it still maintains the good quality and taste.
Baked rice Seafood and Chicken: I'm gonna combine these 2 since the core of the dish is the same for both. You get a good amount of rice that has no shortage in sauce. The chicken version offers 2 solid pieces of thigh that could really be eaten in 2 meals. The seafood version doesn't skimp out on the amount of seafood provided. Where this dish falls short is in the consistency. The cheese is sometimes over cooked so it hardens almost like a layer of soft rock. When done properly, the cheese mixes so well with the best of the dish.
Service: I ordered to-go so I can't say how their in house service is. Cashier was alert and rang me up quickly.
Ambiance: The place was lively and clean, I don't know what else to sayHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 11, 2024
After my initial visit, I haven't been back. I was sick and didn't want to drive too far for Chinese food so I decided to give the place another try. Surprisingly the place has expanded its menu. I'm definitely liking the menu.
My late husband's favorite was the Shrimp with Scrambled Egg chow fun. I was excited to see that they offered that. It's one of the dishes I've been ordering besides the usual beef chow hor. Besides the usual Chinese dishes, I was surprised to see they have the claypot rice. Granted I haven't tried it yet but one of these days, I plan to.
The prices might seem a little shocking to some but in Irvine, it seems to be a norm. Especially when I'm sick, I don't want to be driving out too far to get food when the place is 5 minutes from me. It's good option when I don't want to cook and don't know what to eat.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - 5406116040Mar 27, 20242 check-ins
Located near the Zion Asian supermarket, this is one of the best Hong Kong restaurants in Orange County! Roasted meat selection: outstanding roast pork belly, char siu, and roast duck. I highly recommend their beef brisket won tun mein, Delicious won tuns and soft pieces of savory beef. The stir fried string beans with chicken was another delicious entree

Have been here before and after the reopening. I was hoping they would begin to serve Dim Sum after the re-opening, but they still don't, so that's a bummer. I have always gotten take out from here. It's not the most convenient, as they don't have an online order system for this location, so you have to call in, and they don't always answer the phone.
No complain about the food tho, it's HK style cafe, and food is always good. Price is high but it seems comparable to Tasty Garden. On our most recent visit, we found a rock in the fried rice that we ordered. Not sure how it got in there. The xo sauce seafood fried rice barely had any seafood in there. I'm torn, because they do have delicious food, and I'm likely to return, but just not feeling great about our last experience.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 2Business owner information
