Glenn DePiero and his family have been a strong community supporter on many levels. As generous as the DePiero Family is, their farm
and quality produce and fruits are second to none.
Great products at very fair prices and still a pleasure to visit.

Expectations are always met. A great run farm and family business.

Check it out if you haven't done so already.

A surviving and smaller portion (greenhouse with some plants and fruits and vegetables) of the old Depiero farm which Wegmans replaced

There's a limited but not bad selection of items in the farmhouse. They don't seem to grow all of their own foods. They also have some things like Maple syrup and jam. You can get most of the items for cheaper at the supermarket but there are some things (eg, some veggies) that are comparable. The greenhouse sometimes has nice plants but again not super extensive. I've never been blown away by their service mostly the old timers, which is not overly friendly to all.

Parking is limited but usually not filled up. You can also park across the street in the corporate area. They also have some hay rides in the autumn.

Was there yesterday with my daughter, I spent $50
Only for my daughter to be treated so rudely by the woman at the register. This is not the first time she had been so rude to me. I can't return any more. Customer service is not important to this business owner I guess

Ever since we moved here, This farm stand has been part of our family tradition. Back before they were replaced with Wegmans, their hayrides and Octoberfests were the place to go and we miss that terribly. However, you can still visit them in their original location down the street. Its a treat to pull in and check out their seedlings and seasonal produce.

Super friendly, superb service, and supporting them is good for the cause. My kids love to visit here as their produced is still priced slightly better than Wegmans, so I will usually stock up here for those things. I love their flowers and greenhouse offerings, and I'm so glad they can still be a part of our family traditions! A++

Much ado about nothing. I went to DePiero's patio former location seven times and there was nothing special about it. The prices were not great and the food selections were nothing exciting. Now they moved to a smaller location I have cut back on their offerings. You're a much better places to go to

This is probably not a fair review because I only came here for the pumpkin picking with hay rides which was just okay. I would love to come back to try the market.

As for the pumpkin picking day...

It was suppppper crowded but there is plenty of parking. The prices are: $11 for a hay ride and a pumpkin and $9 for just the hay ride. The line was super long to get on the hay ride and it was about 8 min long. I've def been on better hay rides.

The hay ride takes you from the market to the pumpkin picking patch which was not very impressive. The pumpkins were just scattered around and it wasn't very appealing to look at. After picking out our pumpkins we had to wait for at least 40 min for the hay ride to take us back. Very frustrating! Next year they should have double the hay rides.

All in all, half the time was spent waiting but it was enjoyable I guess. Side note: I tried the apple cider and it was AWESOME. It's $3 for a tiny bottle but so so good. Only reason I didn't give 2 stars!

Normally, when trying to find good food in an area, I allow my nostrils to guide me; if the aroma of delicious food emanates from an establishment, I am drawn to it to seek nourishment. Not so with this place because the smell issuing forth from here constitutes a mix of the waste of all the farm animals in the "petting zoo". [By the way, I really wonder who actually pets these animals; you'd have to wade through all of the afore-mentioned waste to get to them!] All that said, the farm animals (a steer, a calf, a couple of sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks and a little donkey) are really cute, and make this place somewhat of a pastoral haven in the middle of suburban Montvale, NJ.

This farm recently got acquired by Wegmans. As nice as it is for the denizens of Bergen County to have a Wegmans in the area, it is also sad to see the end of one of the last few operating farms in Bergen County.

In addition to the fruits and vegetables available here (which are all very fresh), the bakery, the deli and the salad bar make it a perfect lunch spot when working in the area. There are picnic benches outside to enjoy lunch on a nice day. I always make my salad so unhealthy with all the croutons, cheese and dressings, that I find myself wondering if I might as well have eaten a cheeseburger, rather than a salad for lunch. Off the Hook seafood restaurant used to be located inside De Piero's Farm, but they recently moved out, much to my consternation because I loved their jumbo lump crabcakes squished into a sandwich.
