A friend of mine recommended the salon,and I went yesterday all I have to say is that Maria it's super good she did a beautiful color and her husband was so kind,I totally recommend it %

Fui a este salón por una recomendación y me quemaron el cabello, la keratina que me hicieron y por las que pagué 300 dólares no me duró nada, me lave el cabello y ya tenía mi cabello como antes y peor con más frizz y más seco, obviamente la llamé y le dije que había pasado y porque mi cabello se puso de nuevo rizo y me empezó a decir que no le importaba lo que yo había pagado, que si quiere que lo arregle que vaya a su salón cuando yo tenía que irme al trabajo, fui al día siguiente a exigirle que me devuelva el dinero y me dijo que llamaría a la policía sino me iba, cuando yo solo exigía mi dinero de vuelta, cuando ella había hecho un mal trabajo y no solo no me quedó liso el cabello sino ahora está seco y quemado, TENGAN MUCHO CUIDADO A QUE LES QUEMEN EL CABELLO, a esta señora no le importa si la salud de tu cabello solo quiere ganar dinero, no es la primera vez que me hago una keratina o un tratamiento de alisado y jamás me había pasado algo como esto, espero que se hagan responsables y me devuelvan el dinero y así como me dijiste que no te importa el dinero que por 300 o 600 o 1000 que no es nada para ti, espero que me lo devuelvas porque a mí si me costó ese dinero

Just wanted to leave a wonderful review for Maria and the whole entire salon. I visited this location a couple of months ago by the recommendation of my sister-in-law after my hair was beyond destroyed by multiple highlights from other salons. Maria really understood everything I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for while providing her expert suggestions. my hair feels much, healthier and i couldn't be happier. I took a couple of months to write my review to see how my hair would be after the dye was a little faded and I styled my hair at home multiple times. Safe to say, I am extremely pleased.
I will be returning soon!!!!

Maria did such an amazing job on my hair! It took awhile but only because she is a perfectionist. Color was exactly how I asked and my cut and style was just as impressive. Alex blew out and styled my hair and made sure I left the shop looking incredible. Price is very reasonable. I have no clue how Maria could have any negative reviews in all honesty. I found her salon by Facebook ad and her photos don't lie. She's the best and if you don't think so you're seriously just a hater! Lol! I attached the pics she took of my hair for proof she works wonders.

If you're looking for PHENOMENAL service with a staff that has AMAZING attention to detail, you should visit Designs. I've been going to Maria for my dye jobs for many years, and I have never been disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great place to get your hair done very clean. Stylist disinfects every chair and sink after every use. I was very comfortable less worry. My hair was very damage i was nervous my hair would break off as I experienced in other salons.The owner personally took the time to walk me thru the process and explain what colors would break my hair off. I was comfortable and very happy with my results. I managed to get the color I wanted evenly and my hair looks great no breakage. Definitely going back there from now on for my touch ups. Thank you so much I'm definitely feeling myself.

Absolutely love this salon! I've been going here for a few years now. I recently moved out of state but I still come back to this salon for Maria. I went in with a inspo photo from her Instagram page. Then from there she helped me choose a color that would best suit me while still keeping my hair in good health. I could not be any happier with the results! I've gotten so many compliments on my hair. Everyone at the salon is very nice and always following the restrictions and rules due to COVID. I will always recommend people to Design Hair Salon. I have inserted my before and after results.

I have been going to Maria for almost 20 years and I have never had a problem. She is by far one of the best I've ever seen. She listens and is honest, she takes her time (hence why some of the ppl complaining about a wait) and I rather her take her time and know I'm going to get the same treatment. She only uses the BEST products from Shampoo to extensions and everything in between you know you're getting nothing but the best and usually THE BEST isn't cheap (but you always KNOW the price before you sit in her chair!) sure you can get it done somewhere for cheaper but when your hair falls out DO NOT COMPLAIN! I don't understand the bashing when her work speaks for itself! The name calling well that's just pure stupidity and shows the level of maturity you yourself have if you do have a bad experience anywhere and resort to calling names that's just ghetto.

This is the 5th time i came to get my hair done by maria n i am never disappointed....i love her n all of them they make u feel like part of the family. I live in bayonne n its so worth the travel..i tried too many times to do blonde and she is the only one that can do exactly what i want..thank u so much

My sister & I made appointments with Maria found her page on Facebook & had no regrets at all! We told her what we wanted, & she did a great job. Very talented with hair & has good hands would definitely recommend! Works fast , great quality & very humble.
