About the Business
Established in 1995. We changed our name, but not the flavor! We recently changed the name of the restaurant to honor our beloved Mother Dina. My husband and I were on our weekly date night and stopped in at Dinas. From being greeted to being seated. We were greeted by our server, Alexis. Very friendly. Mark ordered Italian hoagie with a bowl of spaghetti. I had a fresh salad and eggplant Parmesan. The food was delicious. Mark decided to have dessert. Now that's one thing that you actually have to visit to see. Wow! Mark had the baklava cheesecake. It was delicious.
The ambiance is very nice. Decorative like you are in Italy. Makes you feel like home.
Once again I would like to complement our server Alexis. Will definitely be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pulkit P.Centerville, GA0342Mar 26, 2024
This place is GEM! Hands down the freshest food you're going to get in Woodstock. The freshness of the salad and the high quality ingredients in the pizza....I'm lost for words.
Glad I got to meet the wonderful owners and wish them nothing but success.
If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tom M.Marietta, GA084Mar 15, 2024
Dina's - formerly named Gondolier but with the same owners - has some of the best American, Italian and Greek food I have ever eaten. The staff is always professional and friendly, the prices are decent, and the food is prepared and served near perfectly.
The only reason I gave a 4-star rating is that on evenings when the restaurant is full of customers , it can get pretty loud - to the point of affecting enjoyment of the great food. Maybe that's just me; the fact that the restaurant gets so crowded is a testament to how popular it is.
I highly recommend Dina's Restaurant. You won't be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sis P.Marietta, GA012976Jul 2, 2023
Wow! Wasn't sure what to expect when we parked but based on other reviews we had high hopes. This place did not disappoint! Kim was amazing! The food was delicious!
I felt like I went to my best friend's house for dinner. Family vibe, huge portions, great flavors and service second to none. We will be back!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Raja J.Palo Alto, CA2148Jan 24, 2024
The veggie pizza was very good. I had an appetite for a pizza and the one near me was terrible, and typically nationally advertised restaurants are not usually good, so I drove 20 minutes based on the positive reviews to Dina's, the service was outstanding as well. Says something about family owned businesses: They care.

At 8:30 p.m. the restaurant was packed. Grandmas, little kids, a high school baseball team ... the true definition of a casual family restaurant.
We had just been with people who raved about Gondolier. Truth be told, I'd passed it a million times -- it's in the same shopping mall as Sam's Club -- but I never thought about going in. For those of you who think Gondolier is just a pizza place -- think again!
The true telling will be the Italian dishes, which take up the bulk of their menu. I'll have to come back and write an update. Both T and I ordered different versions of the same thing, on the Greek side. He a combination plate, me the Gyro plate.
Four stars! The gryo meat was as good, if not better, than the popular Greek place a couple of miles away. My husband thought the same, sampling also souvlaki -- both pork and chicken -- as well as spanakopita. I got fries with mine (nice and crisp as requested), he chose Greek potatoes.
Gondolier has a showcase of decadent diner-style desserts, which -- twist my arm -- we'll have to try the next time in.
In summation: this is a good neighborhood restaurant. Nothing that I'd travel miles to go to, or suggest when we have dinner out with friends -- but for the two of us grabbing an impromptu meal without traveling far, it's fine.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - John P.Woodstock, GA09919Jul 24, 2023
First time we tried Dina's and it was awesome. The service was great, the portions were huge and the food tasted great. Desserts look incredible, but we were stuff from dinner. We will diffidently be back again.
