I had a great experience working with Discover Granite. Duchess was helpful, efficient, and responsive. I would use this company again for its product and service.

Fatih and his team did an incredible job with my office in Fairfax. Precise, knowledgeable, timely and on budget. They have an incredible selection and their team is great to work with. It's hard to imagine and better fabricator and installer.

We couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Kimberly was very courteous and quick to answer any questions (even on her day off). Pricing was very fair and they didn't charge us for things we didn't need like having an old countertop removed since we didn't have one. The installation staff (2 gentlemen) were mindful and asked us before making any modifications to trim or walls. They were in and out as well quite quickly! I would recommend to anyone!

After needing a new kitchen island for our replacement stove, my husband and I were referred to Discover Granite & Marble. Kim was awesome in helping assist with our appointment time frames to fit our work schedules. The two gentlemen who helped install our new counter top were Ahmet & Guillermo, they worked as a team being both knowledgable and professional while being courteous. They left no major mess to clean up and performed the installation flawlessly, you would have never known anyone had just done work in our home. We will be returning customers should we need additional granite work in our home.

The whole experience was wonderful and efficient. Everything from the beginning was very good. Very friendly and professional. They arrived early the expected and clean up afterwards. They were in constant communication with us. Overall will receive them and the last thing to say is that I loved my new counters. I stood in awe afterwards just amaze at my beautiful my new counters

I don't usually have the time to write reviews but I thought I would be nice to share my experience with you all.
I used this company last year when renovating my bathrooms and I loved the attention and care that we received starting from the owner who showed us around the granite available, to the customer service and installation team; not to mention a comparable price!
This year, while renovating my kitchen, without thinking twice, I contracted them again and received the same or better service. I love my new kitchen with it's beautiful exotic granite and the black granite sink installed!
No doubt, is the best granite company around with fair and very competitive prices. Don't waist your time going to those big overpricing companies; I highly recommend "Discover Granite and Marble".

We wanted to replace our laminate kitchen countertop with a quartz countertop. The kitchen is a U shape with a sink in the top of the U, then after the stove there is another very small countertop and another countertop beside the refrigerator. Here are the pros and cons:

Pros: No pressure sales by informed salespeople in the store. They know their products but don't push for a sale. It was nice to not feel pressured. The stone is available in a storage warehouse right next to the store so you see the actual slab and not just a small sample. There is a good selection. After a 50% deposit, they schedule the installation at your convenience with a day and time window. They removed the old countertops, installed the new ones, and drilled holes for the faucet (we had it already) at the house.

Cons: We received a voicemail message the day before installation changing the delivery from morning to afternoon and it was difficult to shuffle work meetings at the last minute. There is a seam at the sink we weren't told about. We assumed and should have confirmed, but we thought the U would be one big piece. It's not very noticeable, it's just not what we expected.

We had them also install their 50/50 sink. It looks good and is really deep. For the plumber, the drains are at the back of the sink not in the middle. My husband had to reconfigure the pipes to make this work so it wasn't a simple installation. (They don't hook up the sink.)

Overall, we're happy with the countertops. The installers were nice and professional. Once done, they used our shop vac to clean up.

We needed a small granite countertop for a half bath remodel. Duchess was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She let me pick out my granite from their large remnant selection, sent someone out to do measurements and had my price quote within 2 days. Less than a week later, the countertop was installed and looks great! We would definitely use them again.

We had a very positive experience with Discover Granite & Marble. Duchess Laster was helpful and informative when helping us select our countertop from the many choices. The installation crew showed up on time, worked hard and we are very happy with the countertop we selected.

I was gravely disappointed in the level of dirt and dust that was left at our home. Without asking for permission, the crew did a lot of their cutting of the counters inside my garage which left significant and visible dust on literally every surface. Of greater concern is the amount of dust that got into ALL of my tools and expensive equipment. I was so shocked when I saw it after they left- literally a white thick layer of dust had settled on EVERYTHING. They did not sweep ...they did not vacuum and consequently it took us days (literally) to clean our home. A process that continues weeks after as we move and access our belongings on the shelves.

I am very concerned with how much dust and dirt got into my electronic tools including my new power washer, saws and drills. Any clothing or shoes in the garage had to be cleaned before use. Additionally, that meant that dust was tracked through our house both from the garage door and the front door to and from the kitchen as well. They did lay down covering in the kitchen but no paths from the doors to the kitchen were covered ...so that resulted in hours of cleaning for my wife. The actual product looks fine except that they used both clear and white caulk... really?! The irony of all of this is that I spend most of my time talking to live audiences around the country on how to provide superior experiences for your customers. So I gave them an opportunity to "make it right" by sending them a polite note indicating the magnitude of the dirty disaster that was left behind. Maybe I should have sent them a bill for my hourly consulting rate given how much time was spent cleaning. I say that because they offered nothing in return for our days of cleaning or the negative impact on my tools. If you decide to use them- set aside a few days for you and others in your home to do extensive cleaning... and you may have to replace a pressure washer, drill or other dust-ruined tool.
