Latoya and DrJohnson are best prison you can be with. They give you all the options and help with financing. The entire staff are the kind people you can have .

I showed up for my 2pm appointment, and my appointment was canceled because I did not confirm by 2pm the day before. They have it noted on my account that I work nights and are not supposed to call me in the mornings. Because I confirmed at 3:36 after I woke up, my appointment was cancelled.

I JUST received a call from this of asking if I want the "if I don't confirm by 2pm your appointment will be cancelled" taken off of my account...

I have had 8 crowns, 3 or 4 root canals done at this place in the past 2 years and was going to get 3 implants this year but now I am going to find a new dentist.

NOT HAPPY and I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

One star is too much. Dr. Barnett does not stand behind his work. I had a bridge done and it broke in approximately a year. When I went in for a cleaning, I let Dr. Barnett and my hygienist know that the bridge was feeling funny and was told that everything was okay. When I went about three months in after it broke, Dr. Barnett wanted me to pay the full price for another bridge because my insurance would not pay becabuse it had been less than five years. We finally agreed on an amount that I was willing to pay. When I went in for the replacement bridge Dr. Barnett was rude and very unprofessional. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. unfortunately a week I had to go back in to have the bridge filed down. One of the biggest mistakes in my life. The staff was unprofessional, whispering behind my back as though I could not hear. Dr. Barnett was ruder and more unprofessional than before. After he had finished the work, his only words was "let me show you to the door." When I went in to pick my records up, the receptionist was nice until she read whatever had been written in my records and her personality changed.
I wouldn't recommend Divine Expression Dental to my worse enemy.

      Updated review

I had gone to another dentist for quite a while, then switched here due to my insurance changing. I was always very obsessive about my dental hygiene, and hadn't had many fillings before, so I was a bit surprised when I was told I needed 8 fillings. I figured he's the dentist, so he should know, and scheduled the appointment for the fillings. When I showed up I was told it would actually be 9 fillings. Again, obviously too naive and trusting, I went along with it.

I noticed afterward that the dentist had filed down a couple of my teeth beyond what I would imagine was necessary for the filling (as in, the top of one of my teeth is just flat..), and something just didn't feel right about it. I still went back for my next 6-month appointment, but this time was told I would not see Dr. Barnett during that visit, and would see him at the next visit - which was really strange, I had never had a 6-month cleaning where I didn't see the dentist.

All of that just felt weird, so I finally switched to a new dentist. I'm glad I switched, because my new dentist found that many of the fillings I had gotten were cracked or loose- one was so loose, it was rocking back and forth just from the dentists tools touching it. Unfortunately, since this filling was messed up for so long, I wound up having to get a root canal. My new dentist is monitoring the other fillings as well.

I really wanted to like this dentist. The office is gorgeous and the support staff was very nice.

I've been going here for about 3 years now. I'm always apprehensive when it comes to ANY medical procedure, but the staff here always takes good care of me. Shout out to Shay and Alicia!

My smile feels like a million bucks!

I came here after three or four years of no dentist visits. I had a not great experience with another practice and was put off all things dentists for a while. I saw a flyer for Divine Expressions at work and after noticing a few cavities I decided to give them a try.

This office is EXCELLENT. Dr. Barnett is very professional and runs a tight ship. They offer all sorts of amazing amenities and truly care about the comfort of their patients.

They offer aroma therapy to help keep you calm and even do paraffin wax for your hands while you're getting your cleaning!

I have an anxiety disorder that flares pretty badly around anything medical. The staff was wonderfully caring and there was absolute no pain after the first procedure (fillings and a crown). I know I'll have to come back for a few more, but I do feel more relaxed knowing this place really cares about the comfort of their patients.

Thank you Dr. Barnett and staff!!

This is one the flyers they offer for any amenities you may need!

Tried to set an appointment with a very rude and unprofessional secretary.I had to call back to because I had some wrong info and they wouldn't answer after 3 calls and a left message to no reply. Finally got answers on the 4th just to be told they didn't hold my appointment and I can't get in until Jan then told me before I said anything how it wasn't there fault I had to call back. I never placed any blame just wanted to set an appointment won't be trying again

I went for Freedom Day because I am a veteran. They provide free dental services for veterans on that day by appointment. The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable! The office is clean and beautifully decorated. I switched dentists after this experience because of the calming environment. I have always been afraid of dentists but when I opened my eyes and saw that the dentist had a needed in my mouth and I didn't feel it ...that was incredible. When you first enter you will think that you are in a spa! Excellent Covid-19 precautions.

We've been going to this dental office for about ten years now. It is the only dentist (ONLY!) that has never hurt me. I have felt NO PAIN in this office. Every single member of staff is as kind as can be and just wonderful people all around. We always feel welcomed and relaxed when we go here and for me to say that about the dentist is really something!

My first two visits with Dr. Barnett were very pleasant. The hygienists were polite, informative and thorough. It had been 6 months since my last cleaning and 1 year since my last bite wings/x-rays. Dr. Barnett fixed two fillings on my 8th and 10th upper teeth, fillings that had been in my mouth since age 21. I am now 32. Within 1 month, the 10th tooth filling chipped. Dr. Barnett fixed it for free since it was under warranty. He insisted that unless I got a crown on top of said tooth. I scheduled the crown and put 20% down on the procedure (totaling $178). My insurance would not cover the crown so I had budgeted the remaining $712.
Two weeks ago, number 8 chipped when I was biting a nail. I scheduled a fix with the front desk; they assured me there would be no cost to fix the filling. The hygienist who prepped me also assured me there would be no cost for the replacement, again under warranty. Dr. Barnett tooth a 10-second look at the tooth and told me that the entire filling needed to be replaced, and proceeded to numb the nerve innervating that tooth. He asked me how it happened, to which I replied that I was biting my nail when it flaked off. He gave me a condescending lesson on biting nails.
20 minutes later, the hygienist came to inform me that the procedure would now cost me $155 because it was, to Dr. Barnett, a self-inflicted event based on the nail-biting factor. I was immediately upset with this decision. I asked that Dr. Barnett comes back to the exam room to speak with me regarding the cost. She said she would go get him.
Another 20 minutes later, now completely numbed, I had to go to the front desk to try to get anyone's attention. The same hygienist met me and said she had tried to get his attention twice but he had been on the phone the entire time and had shooed her away. She tried to calm me down and asked me to just go back to the room and try one more. Knowing that he had been on the phone the entire time I had been waiting, and seeing each of his other exam rooms full of patients waiting, I became very upset. I told her that if he did not come discuss with me in 10 minutes, I was going to leave, take my business elsewhere, and put my experience on every social media forum I could. That apparently was what got his attention.

I went back to the exam room and waited another 10 minutes. Dr. Barnett surfaced, walked towards my room where he made eye contact with me and loudly/rudely stated, "I will BE right with you!". When he arrived in the room, he brought his front desk receptionist as a witness I think? During our discussion, he cited that I had signed a release form upon getting the fillings the first time around, in which there was a stipulation stating, "I accept and understand that I play a major role in the maintenance of teeth and restorations". To him, this meant that I was not allowed to bite my nails. I said, "Does the release form state, in an itemized form, what I am and am not allowed to do with/to my teeth, up to and including, biting my nails?" He said, "well, no-". He then began to lecture me on what proper maintenance of my teeth entailed (which I do ALL of), and reminded him of that, and then said: "If you don't put oil in your car, would you expect the mechanic to fix the engine for free?". I was astounded at the unsound nature of his argument. He then told me that because I had "threatened his business by saying I was going to Yelp about my experience", our patient/doctor relationship was tarnished. I agreed with him about the tarnished nature. He then said, "maybe you should go see a dentist you feel more comfortable with". I said "I couldn't agree more. I'll take my business elsewhere, and I would like my money back for the crown I had scheduled for next week."
I got my $178 back, refunded immediately. I asked for a copy of everything that I had ever signed for in his business, and the receptionist obliged. Her prompt cooperation is the only reason I wouldn't put ZERO stars. I still left there numbed for half a day, with a chipped filling on my top front tooth.

I went to Cole Family Dentistry at the recommendation of my friend this past Friday. They looked at my teeth thoroughly and the same X-rays and determined that I neither needed a single crown nor ELEVEN cavities filled (as Dr. Barnett had purported). As it turns out, I have ZERO cavities, nor did I need either 8 or 10 crowned unless I wanted the aesthetic change, as there was no decay or cracking in either (besides the chip in 8). Dr. Cole told me that some dentists will say there is a cavity when really it is merely a stain to try to make money, and that the same ones want to cap as many teeth as they can, again, for the profit. Dr. Barnett was trying to scam me the entire time, and total cost with insurance would have put me behind roughly $3000.

I am reporting him to the ADA.

Also, he drives a Maserati with a license plate that says "Dr. Smile". I see now how he can afford that.
