I would not recommend hiring Don Turner as your defense attorney if you get a DUI.I realize times have changed and the penalties for driving under the influence are much greater,and in the end it's only your own fault,but Mr.Turner was no help at all,nor was his now partner Manal. Mr.Turner is the hardest person to get in touch with. After continuously calling him for three weeks before my court date,he called me back the day before the court date.On the court date, he didn't even show up nor had the common decency to let me know he wasn't going to be there. His attorney Manal told me of the possible outcomes and actions fifteen minutes before going into court. Manal's defense for my case wasn't even strong. In the end,my actions cost me my license for 120 days,probation for a year,all the things you have to do with a normal DUI,and it also will permanently be on my record. In my opinion,I could have gotten this same outcome with an attorney provided by the state. It's not even the fact I spent so much time and money on Mr. Turner and Manal,it's how inconsiderate they both were. They say they care about their clients,but from their actions you could clearly tell this wasn't the case. I was just another client to them.I highly recommend not hiring them.
