We had started a major remodel project and a few days in discovered that our contractor did not carry liability insurance. (Long story.) After a few moments of panic, I started to investigate my options. I found Don Williams & Associates on the internet and submitted a request for a quote. Colin Reilly answered my call and walked me through the possibilities... SEVERAL times. (I needed a lot of reassurance!) He was patient and asked questions to help us figure out what was needed, as well as what was excessive insurance coverage. Relying on "the kindness of strangers" isn't something I normally buy into. But, in this case, being able to rely on Colin was a life-saver. Thank you!!!

What a helpful team. I called them because Allstate pulled out of the homeowners insurance market and we were looking for HoA Master Building insurance. The curve ball was that we had knob and tube wiring which is up to code in San Francisco but "admitted" insurers in the state of CA won't write insurance policies for buildings with it. While this team couldn't help me either, they introduce me to a speciality insurance broker in the East Bay who did. Out of 10 or so brokers, including the CA FAIR rep, the broker that this team introduced us to was the only one who could find us a policy that would meet the requirements of our CC&R. That's what I call service and giving back to your community. Thank you a million times over Brendan for answering a call and email.

As a new/returning resident, I needed to get homeowner's insurance - thank you State Farm (please note my intended sarcasm)!! All it took was 1 phone call with Alex!! A package deal at reasonable rates!! Done!! Thank you (no sarcasm this time), Alex and Don Williams and Associates!!

Brent Williams was very efficient and knows his stuff. Of all the various insurance brokers I contacted trying to find a landlord policy which met my requirements, Don Williams & Associates was the only one who delivered 100%.

I had very specific requirements for the policy, mandated by our property management company:

(1) $1M primary liability coverage
(2) Unlawful/wrongful eviction coverage
(3) Property management company named as an additional insured

Believe it or not, finding a policy which met all 3 requirements was not a simple task, but Brent managed to do it! Quick turnaround, too! He also answered all my questions and explained the details of the wording of each one to me, so I was assured I was getting exactly what I wanted.

If you need a policy which is not a simple run of the mill policy, you will not do wrong to reach out to these guys; they will get it done for you!

After a fire at my home I started having troubles with the insurance adjusters. Multiple times I call Tyler to get help with my claim and got no responses or follow through. Not once did Tyler reach out to me to see if any resolve ever happened. The insurance doesn't want to pay for certain policy coverage items and has been very unethical. Tyler has done nothing to encourage Mercury Insurance to pay based on the coverage I paid for. When I informed him I had to file a complaint with CDI - no follow up. When I let him know I had to go give a statement under oath - no follow up. Almost 2 years and my home is still under construction because the insurance hasn't paid the coverage. I will likely have to take this to court.
If you you want an agent that has your back - go to someone else!

Tyler and the team have been sorting out our insurance needs for something like eleven years now.
