I discovered this place pre-covid and it quickly became my fav lunch spot. I vowed to try everything on the menu! I work nearby and have stopped in several times with co-workers. Sometimes I picked up take out, sometimes we got seated. Each time service was terrific and meals were delicious. I loved chatting with the wait staff... they don't make it any easier to pick from the menu (because everything is great!!) So don't bother asking them! Lol
I also really enjoy their iced tea... ginger something or other. Can't recall name now. I look forward to supporting them with take out during these challenging times and returning once they open so I can continue to try everything on the menu.
The space isn't overly large. But we've never had an issue getting seated around Noon on a weekday...
The online ordering app makes it really easy to order and pay. Highly recommend if you're in the area doing errands. Plan ahead and order via app for pick up :)
You should check it out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 53338623Jan 22, 2021
I was here awhile ago and I remember liking it. After coming back again, I was not blown away. Came on a Friday early afternoon for brunch. This place is perfect for brunch. We were basically the only ones on the inside. With this said, I felt that our food took awhile to come out. I had the breakfast pizza which was very tasty! The coffee is also great. Sadly, my pizza wasn't really hot...warm enough where it was still enjoyable though. For a place that is set up to be hip/modern, I find it to just be average. It's a very strong 3 stars - if I was in the area I would pop back in for that breakfast pizza!

I'm new to the area and I've been brown bagging it. Today I needed to venture out for lunch and I found this place on yelp. It is a true gem, it's clean fresh has great menu selections and a cute little grotto outside dining area.
I think I found my go to lunch spot. Having the turkey Brie sandwich today and it's fabulous. Turkey Brie cheese apple greens and a fig spread on this crusty rustic roll. The pizza looks good too.
I'll be back. This place is a home run!!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 48148315Feb 21, 2020
We called in a reservation for brunch on Sunday (4 adults, 2 tiny humans), and they were kind enough to place us at a table against the window which had lots of space for the group. We brought our own high chair (the kind that just clamps to the table) but they had some and offered to help.
The space was a bit crowded, but it's a hot spot, so of course they want as many tables as they can get. The entire time we were there, we didn't see a long wait or slow service, which is fantastic!
We BYOB'ed our champagne (because... brunch!) and they were quick to ice it, open it, and bring us one mason jar of juice (I LOVE that they didn't charge 4 separate juices!). We flipped over our menu and struggled to make our choices. Two of us went for the breakfast sandwich and two of us went for the two egg plate. The two-egg plate was a bit small in portion size - one piece of toast, two eggs, a handful of quartered potatoes, and half a brat-sausage. So.. if you're hungry, find something else on the menu! The boys loved their sandwiches and I have to admit, I was jealous of their selection. We also all split an avocado toast with a poached egg. It was pricey and a HALF piece of toast with maybe a quarter of an avocado. Again... don't expect this to be your meal if you are hungry.
Everything was delicious, the facility was clean, the servers were nice, and they were kind enough to cheer on our new-to-walking son when he made a run for the back kitchen across the floor. :)
While a bit pricey, you're paying for quality, not quantity. This is a fun, fresh place and we are looking forward to coming back!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 28, 2019
I had lunch at Dough & Yolk last weekend. The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon, but I was fine with that. More service for me! Lol. I was a little disappointed they didn't have any pizza dough due to a busy night the night before, according to my waitress, but I enjoyed the burger I ordered instead. My one complaint: the burger did not come with fries. Those were extra. Luckily the burger was reasonably priced, but I never understand places that charge extra for the fries.

Breakfast. They say it's the most important meal of the day and some of my Sweetest dreams are made of these and who am I to disagree with My dreams ;)
Dough & Yolk casual all day eatery is The Place to go for delicious breads, pizza, and "all things" eggs. Their menu is full of non traditional and familiar meals that are both tasty and satisfying. Everything in here from their Signature Sandwiches, Soups, Salads, Bowls, and Yes Breakfast Pizza, Rocks!!
Listen, mornings can be Tuff Enough, you could use A Little Help From Your Friends. And the fine folks at Dough & Yolk can Start Me Up so I can get going and Fight The Good Fight just like the King Of Rock there is None Higher!! [these are all song references Christine, Huge Hugs]
Tucked away in the same shopping center next to Retro Fitness it's the perfect quaint spot to hit up for Breakfast, Lunch, or Weekend Dinner. Stop by, order up some take out, or have them deliver, so they can throw a Whole Lotta Love Your Way!!Helpful 124Thanks 1Love this 131Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 2019
Sticky tables, service wasnt really up to par friendly but didn't really do the typical check in, fruit was bitter and tasted terrible, ricotta toast was very hard and wasn't how the pictures depicted it as (the raspberry "compote" was raspberry jam lightly sprinkled atop, the fries were good but were forgotten about so had to wait for them, d&y sandwich was probably the only good thing about the whole meal, oj definitely wasn't fresh squeezed, french toast had powder sugar on one piece, another piece was raw, another piece was burnt. Wouldn't come back.

I wasn't sure what to expect walking in since I knew this spot used to be a pizza place, but now it had a name that suggested pizza and eggs?
I like what they've done here with cute decor and an eclectic menu of "better than diner" breakfast food, as well as pizza and sandwiches. Since I was in the mood for some breakfast I went with a two-egg plate without toast (I've got gluten issues, but their breads looked delicious) and was really happy with the quick turnaround and taste and quality of ingredients of the eggs, bacon, and potatoes.
It was chilly when I was there, but they also have a nice outdoor patio when there is better weather. I look forward to returning and trying out more of the menu.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - N V.Florham Park, NJ12112Mar 2, 2020
Cute place. The breakfast options are ok. I ordered the D&Y special sandwich without the meat. It's a little pricey for what is given especially with the 4 tiny slices of avocado. Not sure this breakfast was worth $10 plus the coffee = $14 breakfast for a very average meal.
Will come back to try the lunch.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa Y.CLIFTON TWP, PA51810Jul 27, 2020
Outside dining is clearly socially distanced. An awning protects guests from the scorching sun and keeps it relatively cool for diners. I was served an amazing French toast (cinnamon and powdered sugar) with fresh cold fruit (excellent on a hot summer's day). My husband ordered the Tot burrito and I stole some of his crispy tater tots - they were perfectly warm and crunchy. The server appeared a little nervous but she did a great job. We were surprised that the owner came out to greet guests and see that we were all satisfied with our meals. He answered our questions about the breakfast trays they serve (order the day before). We would gladly dine there again and plan on getting a tray to gift to our extended family to enjoy.
