After getting estimates from several other companies, we went with Douglas Door. Although we had a few scheduling hiccups, they were responsive and was on time, clean, and our new door looks amazing. The price was very reasonable and they went out of their way to make the process easy. Would highly recommend

Above and beyond service!!! My husband had an accident on Saturday and damaged our garage door with his truck. Hubby was also hurt in the accident and fractured his pelvis. I called Monica at Douglas Door on Sunday from the hospital and she went right over to assess the situation and measured for a new door. Monica communicated with me consistently throughout the process. My new door was installed on Thursday by Jason and he did an amazing job. These folks at Douglas Door are caring, hard working and very organized with their online system for contact and scheduling. They were there for me when I needed them. I highly recommend Douglas Door. Such a fantastic experience. My new door is beautiful. Thank you Monica and Jason!!!!

2021 has been a year for us all! I needed an emergency repair on one of our gated properties, we contacted Douglas doors only to find amazing professionalism and customer service. Their work is and response time is also extremely fast! Very satisfied, do recommend.

Had a 10:00 AM appointment for an estimate on a residential garage door on Jan 31, 2022. At 9:03 AM got a text reminder of the appointment from Jason. Was at the address before 10:00 AM. Waited until 12 noon (the full 2 hour window). No one showed so I left. At 12:36 PM, got a call from Jason (the user id was Kens Beverage) to inform me that he had arrived. Told him what happened. He said the receptionist was supposed to call and reschedule for later. Since Douglas Door didn't value my time or business, I said I wasn't going to use them.

Owner of this business (who is also the main point of contact) is rude, ungentlemanly, and treats his clients like garbage. He refused to return to our location to fix a small error and told us in a short, unpunctuated, and cold email to "call an electrician".

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

I'm steamed right now... really ticked. Douglas Door repair in Buena Park went to our lot to fix the automatic gate. Said it would cost $150 an hour.

One of our drivers hit the metal post leaving last night. He told me right away, was very sorry and said he'd pay for it.

Anyway, this company came out, moved the reflector down 4". Took 75 minutes.

Total due: $420!!!

I called and asked how that could possibly be the cost to move a reflector 4"??

The lady said "$95 for parts"... that's for a $2 reflector you can get at autozone...

There's something about being willing to tell a driver $300 for a stupid mistake and having to tell him $420 that is really tough for me.

If you EVER need a door fixed, I'd recommend another company.

Fantastic service! I am so pleased with my experience with Douglas Door. I contacted this company during an emergent crisis in which my garage door had failed me and trapped my car inside. Luckily, I contacted Douglas Door and within minutes Jason arrived to liberate my vehicle and repair my garage door to working condition. The owner, Monica, was incredibly knowledgeable and so very helpful during this stressful situation! I ABSOLUTELY recommend!!

Recently our garage door broke and needed repair. I looked on our local community group Facebook page and saw a post with many comments recommending Douglas Door. I called and made an appointment for the next day. I recieved a text with the appointment time and the next day I was reminded an dd's kept informed as to the arrival of the technician. Jason arrived right on time and in short order repairs were made. He even gave my door and opener a tune up and adjusted the door. Many thanks to Jason and Douglas Door for their professional attention to our problem.

We just bought a house and accidentally broke the garage door...it didn't stop when it hit a stray broom...needless to say we called Douglas Doors and they came out and repaired the door for a VERY reasonable price. we will be calling them for all of our future garage door needs

This morning my garage door would not open. My friend recommended Douglas Door. I called them before they opened and left a message. Immediately after, I received a call to schedule a same day appointment. Monica, who I spoke to, said based on what I described it was probably the springs. Sure enough, she was correct. The tech Jason was friendly and helpful. The price that was quoted on the phone was the price I paid. I certainly will use them again!
