Joanna J.Orange, CA1204Mar 25, 2024Dr. Hakham is the best dentist I have come across. I previously had a root canal done at another dentist, and they did a horrible job. I knew something was wrong, I started looking for a new dentist. That's when I came across Dr. Hakham. I went in, he did X-rays saw I had an infection, and explained I had to redo my root canal. Throughout the process of getting my root canal fixed, he was very informative, gentle, and attentive. My root canal is now pain-free thanks to him. He did an amazing job. He has done other work and every time I am pleased with it. Recently, I had an incident, where a broken tooth was involved. I called Dr. Hahkam and explained, he took me in right away. He filled in my broken tooth and came out beautiful. The WHOLE staff is very sweet and friendly. BEST DENTAL OFFICE. I'm glad I found them

Yo lo recomiendo basada en el profesionalismo y gran conocimiento que demostró durante el proceso de un tratamiento dental que yo necesitaba; y aunque era un poco complejo, fue realizado de forma exitosa y sin complicaciones.

I'm a patient that 'inherited' Dr. Hakham after seeing Dr. Abrams for decades before he retired. It was a smooth transition to Dr. Hakham and pleased that the office continued in the most positive way. The office itself is clean, sanitary and nicely decorated. The staff is professional and personable and concerned not only about our dental health but us as people. Dr. Hakham is an excellent dentist, making sure we understand procedures, asks if we have any questions, and points out dental areas to be watched. As odd as it may sound, It's a pleasure to go into this dental office!

Yoana provides such a pleasurable session with her positive caring demeanor and very light hand. She is very detailed and offers her professional advice / personal experience for daily up keep. I appreciate her honesty and willingness to share her thoughts. Before I knew it my session was completed and I was on my way.
Ok maybe not over yet. Dr. Hakham took a moment to review my oral healthcare and also offered some suggestions to keep on track. He really does take the time to make sure all is good.

Dr. Hakham and the TeamSep 20, 2018Previous reviewWhat can I say, every KING deserves a crown! Greeted in the morning with a smile by the lovely Diane was how my experienced started. It is always a pleasure catching up with one another. In the procedure room I was treated to a nice beach front setting from the in- room TV screen recently activated. This coupled with some relaxing tunes truly set the mood for a successful outcome. David Hakham is a master at what he does. Everything goes so smoothly that I sometimes think he does nothing at all. He makes sure your are comfortable the whole time and answers any questions you may have before and after your visit. Very personable and professional. As I made my way out, I ended my session with the very Sweet Stella. She collects the payment and sets my next appointment. We typically catch up as well with the, "how are you(s)", but she owes a dollar to the jar so our time was limited this time around ;)
All in all another top service!

The Duke ~Jun 19, 2018Previous reviewWent in for a scheduled deep cleaning. Today they worked on the right side and this is EXACTLY how my visit went.
I walked in about 9:34 am to a pleasant greeting from Stella who called me by name (always gives you that important feeling). Right besides her was Dorin with a pleasant hello as well. Today I was Dorin's appointment. She was the dental hygienist working my grill. We moved into the room as I got comfortable on the electric recliner / dental chair. A fancy bib was wrapped nicely around my neck and Dorin began to take some pocket measurements. Before getting started, a professional photographer came in to take my picture. Not sure how anyone knew I was going to be there, but I am glad the bib was removed beforehand helping me look my best. I am going allow them to use this photo as my profile picture for my file. Dorin began to do her thing and before I knew it she was all done. She is a professional in every sense. Very clear with procedure explanations and very attentive when it comes to your comfort level. If I was to feel any pain, I was to raise my hand as her indicator. At one point I thought that would feel some discomfort and scrunched my eyebrows as a first reaction. She immediately asked if I was ok. Now that is attentive! Dorin made my time on the chair pleasant. Stella was bumping some 80's jams like Soft Cell Tainted Love, which help the time pass. Thank you Dorin!
On my way to check out, Dr. Hakham said hello and I asked him about a small issue from my last visit. The Dr. took a look and took care of it on the spot. Now that is service :)
Had the pleasure of running into Diane. She is cheerful and full of smiles like the day I met her. Stella, Diane, myself, and another cheerful staff member talked for a bit about a special edition office candle. I asked which one of them smelled good and they blamed the candle (modest).

Let me start from the begining. I was referred by a current patient of his. A long time friend, well ex-girlfriend to be exact. She was so adamant that I go see David. I was a bit on the fence. She is an ex so how much could I reeeaaallllly trust her? After a long 60 seconds I made an appointment via telephone. I called at 5:30 pm, when they close, and they answered. Very pleasant and helpful. I felt bad afterwards for calling at closing. The appointment was set for 6/8/18 @ 11:30 am. The day prior to the service date, I received a call confirming our appointment (always appreciated) and during this time it was mentioned that they had an earlier appointment for 8:30 am. This worked out perfect, so I accepted.
On the morning of I woke up 30 mins prior to my appointment, so I had to cut my morning beauty regimen to only 15 min if I wanted to be on time. I walked in at 8:37 am and they didn't even yell at me cause I was late. As a matter of fact Stella pleasantly greeted me by name. I had about 30 min of paperwork to fill out which I completed in 10 min. Before I new it, I was off to races.
Dr. Hakham introduced himself then left me in the care of Diane. She is very positive and full of good energy. We talked and talked and talked, and before I new it all the preliminary services were done. Dr. Hakham came back and explained in detail what he saw. Unfortunately I had a cracked tooth in the back that needed some attention. The situation and solutions were thoroughly explained. I felt good with his view and suggestions. More work was done to assess the damaged. There was numbing, grinding and patching while we jammed to some flamenco, salsa and pop musicians from Arles and Montepellier in the south of France. Have the Dr. tell you about it. When all was said and done, I was back with Stella, who likes Stella wine BTW. I had some insurance and out-of-pocket questions that she answered. Then we went on to sync up our calendars and schedule additional work.
In summary, Dr David Hakham is knowledgeable and very detailed. He cares and provides a top notch service. Both Diane and Stella rock. They are full of great energy and fun to be around. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Thank you C for the recommendation :)

I guess I'm the oldster of this office. I've been coming to this particular dental office for almost 40yrs. The original doctor was Dr. David Abrams, who worked on my boys teeth when they were very young. Back then I was a big chicken to go to the dentist. But one day I had a problem with one of my tooth and went to get an appointment. He set up an appointment, and worked on the tooth the next day, and did a great job.
As the time went by, I always wondered how it was going to be if Dr. Abrams finally decide to retire, and if the replacement doctor would be as, thorough, and caring with my dental care.
When I met Dr. Hakham, he greeted me like we already knew each other, and was catching up with old times. He knows his craft, quite well. He always have a moment of conversation with me when I'm there. Estella, I had the pleasure of meeting her before the transition. She is always courteous, friendly, and with a smile. I've known Diane the longest, and she's like a friend there. I think we talk more about food when I'm there. Likes and dislike. Where to get the best eats.
I've had both Dorin (?) and Joann as my hygienist, and both of the ladies are very competent, and also thorough.
I travel from Pasadena to visit Dr. Hakham's office, because the staff is always so caring, nice, and top notch. So I will continue to go there.

We changed to Dr. Hakham several years ago and I have only great things to say about him and his staff. Never have to wait once in arrive, I'm always greeted with a smile and Dr. Hakham knows exactly how to resolve my dental issues. Oh, and there is always parking!
