Dr Sprinkler Repair

I had three sprinklers replaced by Dr. Sprinkler. They scheduled service within two weeks of my call and arrived on time. There were two people doing the work. They had the first two sprinklers done in about 20 minutes. I then had them do a quick check of all the stations and they found one more that they wanted to replace. They did not have any more sprinklers with them, so I told them where Home Depot was and they left to get the parts and replace it. I was a little shocked to get a bill for $600. They charged $45 per sprinkler when you can order a 4-pack for $48 online. They charged me for 4 man hours of labor at $72.50 per hour. The work quality was fine, but I should have asked for a quote up front, managed their time, and read these reviews first.

I wish i didn't have to give one star. I've had issues with this company for over a year. They don't show up when you are put on the schedule, they make excuses for when they don't show up. Twice I have been told they would give me a call back, yet I have yet to receive one. I regret doing business with them.

I'm not sure why the reviews on Yelp are so low. Reviews on Google are near 5 star, and deservedly so. Mike was able to solve and fix my sprinkler problems quickly. I would strongly recommend him for anyone looking for an expert.

I should have read the reviews prior to using Dr Sprinkler. I needed to have three sprinklers removed and capped, one sprinkler moved 2 feet away, and one sprinkler changed out to a spray instead of a jet, as well as replace a spigot in the garden that was leaking. They sent two young boys to do the job of one man. They looked at the job and then both boys left to go buy the spigot and sprinkler head and were gone for more than an hour (I was being charged for both boys being gone).
They proceeded to tell me that I will need to replace a goose neck feature for $275 and the front connection from the main water line $750 before winter as he wiggles the goose neck in front of me. I tell them I can't afford that right now, pay them the $750 for 8 hours to replace or repair the above simple items.
PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Crazy expensive. It's $85 PER PERSON the send so watch out for that. My sprinkler system started having problems again weeks after they "fixed" it.

It looks like it's time for the first real review. One of the valves on the sprinkler system went bad. They were all 25 years old. We had them replace everything. They put in a manifold system I'm very happy with. They did a little work cleaning up the front sprinklers.
The charge was fair, the work was excellent and they came the morning after I called them. I don't hand out 5 star reviews slavishly, but my experience was that good.

These guys are dishonest, deceitful and unprofessional.
They make up the cost for parts and charge whatever they want after the work is complete. Stay away from this business.

Absolutely terrible. Very dishonest and really take advantage of you. The company as a whole doesn't know much about sprinklers especially for it to be their "profession." That being said, it took them 4 attempts to try and locate a leak that was causing my control boxes to flood. They spent 4 hours replacing the entire manifold because they didn't know where the leak was. It turns out that wasn't even the problem, the manifold was perfectly fine because I still had flooded control boxes! so I'm stuck with a $400 bill and my problem still exists and they wouldn't do anything about it. I had the same kid come out each one of the 4 times and he being probably 20 years old, didn't know entirely what he was doing and arrived late by three hours. Even had to borrow my shovel because the kid forgot his own shovel! Pass on these guys. You'll be glad you did.

Fast and knowledgeable. They fit me into their schedule and arrived on time. They quickly assessed the issue and fixed it. Their prices are very reasonable and well worth it!

I was quoted 85$ an hour. Then after 21/2 hours was charged 400$. When i called to complain i was told they charge 85$ an hour per person they send out, but they never tell you how many people are going to show up. I felt they were purposely trying to deceive. Would NOT recommend.
