Dream Design

This is the second time I've used Dream Design. First time was flooring only (see past review) This time an entire kitchen AND new flooring. We had a hot water line pipe burst, our kitchen had to be demoed. I immediately called John at Dream Design. He came out immediately. The biggest issue was getting it done in time, since we had a tenant moving in. He said "We can do it" and they did.!!! It's beautiful and perfect in every way. Don't hesitate in using DREAM DESIGN!!!

The Dream Design team are amazing! Ethical, professional, and hard working. When our full house renovations became difficult, they worked through every challenge. Gary, Jose, Juan and his sons, Vahag, Gevorg, Sophia, Ivan and many more that I'm forgetting. Thank you so much from Syd and I. It is so lovely to work with people who so care about their clients!

The kitchen turned out beautifully! We were are so pleased with the quality of the cabinets and they met all the custom requests we made. There were a few hiccups during the process, such a scheduling, and missing a few custom details, and we weren't aware that we were responsible for touch ups that were needed in certain areas after demolition/installation, hence 1 less star. It was lack of clarity on there's and our end, which seems to be the trend with most contractors we've worked with when it comes to any home renovations. They do make sure any concerns you have are addressed right away. Overall I do recommend them! They build their cabinets in house so the wait time seems to be quicker than other cabinets companies that outsource theirs. Thanks Dream Design for making our kitchen a dream come true!

Love love our floors!
1. John came out immediately to give us an estimate. It was out of our budget so he told me to call Albert, who would work with me. John was terrific.

2. I went to their shop, met Albert and not only did he work with me on my budget, he helped me pick out the perfect floor. Albert was terrific.

3. Leo, the installer, did a perfect job on the installation. Leo was terrific.

4. They moved ALL of the furniture and put it back!

We had some issue with the 1/4 rounds in our kitchen. They didn't match the floor or the cherrywood cabinets. There wasn't anything in their stock that matched. No biggy, my husband bought some flat molding, ($100) stained it Cherrywood, used liquid nails and voila, everything's perfect.
I wouldn't hesitate to use the Dream Design team again. I've already recommended them!!

Super happy with Dream Design. Not my first purchase from them and definitely not my last. This time around I ordered my kitchen cabinets (custom) from them, they came and took all needed measurements, and designed it for me quickly. Quality is amazing and price is 100% unbeatable.

I was matched with Dream Design through Floor & Decor. My husband and I were replacing our old flooring with new wood-like porcelain planks. The experience we had with DD was up and down.

Pros:
Luis and our other contractors were professional, on time, and did a great job. They were very communicative via text and kept us up to date on their progress every day.

Cons:
The sales side of DD isn't as communicative. During the demo of the old flooring, the contractors realized our floors were not level. We were told by our sales agent, John, that we needed materials to level the floor. He quoted us $500 for materials and labor to level. However, when we asked how much the materials actually cost, he evaded the question on 4 separate phone calls and texts. We just want to know what we are paying for, and when you are not transparent, it starts to feel like we are being taken advantage of. In the end, after asking him daily for about a week, he finally sent us an invoice with the breakdown. It shouldn't be this hard to get an answer.

John also gave us a shopping list of items to purchase from Floor & Decor to get the process started. Halfway through the flooring process, our contractors told us that they ran out of material. John didn't factor in enough when he sent the shopping list, and we ended up having to buy $200+ more flooring materials.

We were assured that our flooring would be finished by May 29. We had a set move-in date, and we were told, "No problem. It will be done, and it will be done perfectly." The work was not completed until June 2.

In the end, the contractors did really nice work. We understand the leveling of the floors ate up a day of progress, and we were able to push our move-in date back to accommodate. I'd use the contractors themselves again, but the sales side of DD left me feeling annoyed and exhausted. Chasing down answers about where my money is being used is not a good feeling.

Just an update now that the appliances are installed: we are still just as thrilled with the work Yarik did installing all of the cabinetry. He did a wonderful job with the custom sizing for the fridge.

Got floors and cabinets installed twice. Thanks everyone for all of your hard work and support. I'm happy with the quality and will keep certainly reach out for the next job and happy to refer family and friends.

Would have given 5 stars but getting return phone calls from the office would some times take days before the project was started. Once the project was started the workers were amazing they were polite and did a fantastic job replacing the floors through the entire house. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We have used Dream Design twice now for our beautiful, luxury vinyl planking. Our floors look great and are such an improvement over the carpet we had. John was professional and easy to work out all the details with. The crew that came out both times were courteous, professional, and just plain nice guys. They got right to work and made this process painless. I work from home so having the work done quickly and efficiently was much appreciated. I highly recommend Dream Design.
