What does it mean to be Pet Wellness Store? Many Pet stores try to claim that they focus on your pets wellness but yet they sell and promote products and/or services that are known to have health issues for the animal. A Pet Wellness store dedicates all its resources to ensure that it is only providing all natural and holistic products and services to benefit the pet. Natural foods are anything that is consumed or ingested that do not contain added color, artificial flavors, or synthetic substances. Holistic is the treatment of the whole pet, taking into account mental and social factors, as well as any physical symptom of an issue or disease. This means that all employees are educated to understand and teach customers the four areas of pet wellness (food, hygiene, exercise, and social / mental stimulus). Only products and services that satisfy 1 or more of these 4 areas will allowed to be sold. A Pet Wellness Store must provide all 4 areas of wellness as well as provide customers, not pets, with a learning center in order to claim that they are truly a Pet Wellness Store.

This review is just for Nicole- she is wonderful, welcoming and well informed about various issues related to dogs. Initially I was appreciating a $12 self wash section for dogs but soon realized that the store is unique and loved everything about it.

Took our cat there this morning for grooming. Bad idea!
They have 5 groomers in a too small room. Too small for 5 dogs, let alone introducing a cat into the mix. Not sure why they ever agreed to our appointment. This used to be our go to spot for pet supplies and grooming. They lost us as a customer because of their stupid "pick up rules and extra charges". My wife was running unexpectedly late to pick up our pooch when the gal said we would be charged extra for every 5 or 10 minutes (can't remember the exact number) we were late. Not very customer friendly so now it is only Hollywood Feed and Elite Suites.

Dawn and Joe, the owners, are fantastic. They are so knowledgeable about pets that we often go to them for advice before going to our vet. We tease Dawn that we owe her for consultation fees. They care so much about our fur babies that they really want to help.
The entire staff here is so helpful and friendly, and seeing Lexi is fun too.

Why would you not accept new clients? Really? It's a dog bath and nail trim not an operation.

Vicky we are so sorry that you were so upset by our inability to help you at this time that you felt compelled to give us a poor review. We checked our database and noticed you have never been in our store and clearly don’t understand why we are so honest about our situation. Other than YELP, which doesn’t provide for it, all our social media pages tell people that we are unable to take on “new” customers. We are so sorry if you missed those statements when considering us. We also aren’t a Grooming Salon, we are a Holistic Pet Store; grooming is just something we do to help provide solutions for the hygiene area of wellness.
In the past 7 years that we have been open, we have never received less than a 5 star rating except in 1 other case, and both of you were due to us NOT being unable to schedule their family member.
We are hoping if you understood why we tell so many people that we can’t schedule their dog that maybe you will understand why we simply tell them sorry. It is because we have NO openings, period for months. If we put you on our waitlist, it could be several months or more before an opening was available and even then current customers would get priority. If you were a current customer at any business you would expect this just as much as we would. To conclude, let’s use your pizza analogy, it’s like telling you we will make your pizza but we will never give you a date for pickup or delivery. We still make pizza but we just don’t have the resources to make more than what has been ordered, at this time. We feel that scenario would be a much worse situation than just informing you that we can’t help you at this time. We hope this makes sense and with this knowledge we are hoping you will reconsider your posting and allow us to show you why so many of our friends love what we do. Yes this is the place to be if you own a dog or a cat I suppose. I have dogs. So I'm not exactly certain if they have cat stuff. I'm not sure why I never reviewed this place. I think I may have forgotten since I waited like a year or so to get in for grooming. I mean I felt like I had won the lotto a little bit when I finally was able to start coming here. It's really close to my house within 5 to 10 minutes drive and it is so cute in there. The people also make this place great. They're not snobby like some of the places in the area. They're friendly and they always remember your name. Also even when I'm fat and bigger than some of the employees they still help me with my dog food by taking it to the car. LOL. All jokes aside, the groomers are great. I've tried several of them and they always do a phenomenal job with my dogs. I will rearrange my schedule to make sure I go to Grooming. That is how much I appreciate being able to partake in this business. Also all the employees know so much about the food and always have great suggestions. I will keep coming to the store as long as I live here. The prices are in line with other places for pet needs. This isn't the place you go for overall pet supermarket stuff. This is a boutique food/grooming place where you're looking for some thing outside of what they offer at Petsmart or Petco. It's just such an amazing place for my dogs' grooming, treats, toys, bedding and food needs. I highly recommended them! 5 star service and business for sure!

Simply the best pet wellness store ever! The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help. The groomers are top notch. i am 100% confident in their products and services! I won't shop anywhere else for my pups.
