Ecoview Windows & Doors

UPDATE: Still love Ecoview! Absolutely worth the price and so glad I didn't overpay somewhere else. The window that arrived to them damaged was replaced and I haven't had any leaks or issues. Very responsive if I call. My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now.

My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality.

Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company.

The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly!

Carlos, the owner, has been spectacular. He came out to my house and met with me before I ordered. He was so thorough, knowledgeable, not sales-y. Really had a wonderful experience working with them.

Still waiting on my inspections because one window was delivered to Ecoview damaged and has to be replaced- totally understandable! Once the inspection is done, the screw holes in the photos will be covered by a trim piece.

Now that Dorian is approaching, I'm relaxing while my neighbors are boarding windows! BUY THE IMPACTS!!

We had a lot of windows replaced by Ecoview and so much of the exterior stucco was hacked/chipped off, and I'm not talking about areas seamed up with the windows. I'm talking about the window bays. They also shattered one front window as they installed it, requiring taping up the area and waiting weeks for a new one to be ordered and received. This bumped out our inspection, allowing the sun to bake on all of those stickers that are kept on until inspection. Our mistake was to patch and paint prior to window install. But we didn't think they would damage so many areas and not repair them.

Had every window in my house replaced in one day. Great service, and great value. Would recommend them to anyone needing 1 window, or 20.

Poor communication and Administration

I am giving 2 stars instead of one only because I believe they might have a decent product with a good installation team. Unfortunately, I never got that far - one star for administration and communication.
I called Ecoview to schedule an estimate. Amanda (in the office) gave me a time and said Randall would come to see me. Randal showed up at the appropriate time, he was friendly, professional and answered all of my questions. He left me with an estimate.
After a few weeks of gathering additional estimates, I decided to go ahead with Ecoview. This is where it all went south. I called Amanda to schedule Randal to come back out so we could sign papers, provide a down payment, etc. She asked me if a 7AM appointment was ok. I even questioned her about the time. She said yes it was fine. So I scheduled for 7AM. I asked about methods of payment, she said they would accept a check, Credit card for an additional fee and a discount for cash. When I asked about the cash discount, she said she was not sure, Randal would discuss that with me.
On the appointed da, 7:30AM, no Randal. I called him, apparently woke him up, and said he was not aware of my appointment. He never makes appointments before 9. He said he would look into it. Randal arrived at my home at 10AM. We started filling out paperwork. When we got to payment types I asked about the cash discount (I had cash in hand). He said he had never heard of such a thing and he would have to check with the owner (Carlos). This was 2 pretty big mess ups in a single visit. I was beginning to get a bit nervous. At that point, I asked him to leave and have Carlos call me. He said he would.
I waited a week, Carlos never called. Still wanting to move ahead, I called the office (Amanda) again and asked for Carlos to call me. This time he did. We spoke and I thought all was good. I rescheduled with Amanda Randal to come at 3PM on Thursday. Once again - Randal is a no show. I called Randal and once again he said he was not aware of the appointment. I asked him to have both Amanda and Carlos to call me.
So far, a week later neither has called. I cannot believe they are this bad when I have no financial commitment to the company. I cannot imagine what it would be like dealing with them when money is involved. I'll be moving on to another company.

Our entire building was undergoing reconstruction and we were required to replace all ocean facing sliders, we researched the market and was so thankful we found Ecoview! Here's why... Apart from being the most economical, our dealings with Mandy and especially Carlos was nothing but exemplary. Got the quote quickly and once getting the bid, the sliders arrived quickly. Installation was very professional and done in a day... Our neighbors who went with another took a week. Compared the sliders and found Ecoview's to hv cleaner lines and tracks were better built. We just got the classic without any upgrades. I would highly recommend Ecoview, you will not be disappointed.

Another update for EcoView windows. Carlos has been very diligent in his follow up to ensure our complete satisfaction. Again, in what can often be a very complicated and traumatic experience, Carlos and EcoView made it enjoyable as we witnessed our home transformed with our beautiful new windows installed seamlessly and effortlessly. If I could award 10 stars to Carlos and EcoView, I would! Do yourself a favor and don't bother with any other Window company. Carlos will treat you fairly and respectfully. What else can you ask for in a company!!

Beautiful windows and perfect installation. Glass crystal clear no distortion. Carlos the owner came out for an estimate quickly and is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with for an immediate estimate. Coastal Viwintech windows are perfect for my house. The cost was reasonable and happy to pay for the professionally installed windows. Very good value for the money. Beat other two estimates.
Warranty is better than other window manufacturers and Carlos will take care of any problems.

Called this company 2 weeks ago and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Took off work. They called 40 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to say they couldn't do the job. I lost time from work and my home owners insurance was increased because I couldn't get the job done in time. It's ok if they couldn't handle the job. Would have been nice to know that two weeks ago!

Very happy with the price! I had a earlier quote for almost double. The impact windows are such a piece of mind and look great. The crew were polite and did a great job.

So far we have had an amazing learning experience with our new window project consisting of 17 windows with Carlos the owner. He came out and gave us an estimate and then we waited, made a trip to the showroom for my husband to view and today he came and measured and we signed the contract which was lower than are original estimate!! We are told windows should be in within 4 weeks!! Stay tuned for more updates!!
