just left after placing an order for three queen Asada tacos would ask for extra hot sauce I was told No!!! the father literally came out and yelled at me !! for a whole minute I couldn't believe it. It seems that you have forgotten a bit of detail in your story so let me clear it up for you. Yes, you did order Tacos de Azada BUT you were not told no. My daughter simply told you that she can give you extra hot sauce but you would need to pay for the extra side you wanted (cilantro and onions). And that is when you demanded a refund. (Honestly getting mad over needing to pay for extra food is crazy). The only reason why you were yelled at was because you spoke rudely to my daughter that spoke to you in a calm manner and kindly gave you a refund while you insulted me and for some reason also told me to be disrespectful to the homeless man that we were serving. (Which is even crazier). That was the situation that pull the trigger on me to tell you to get out caused you are no better than everyone and specially to those that are in need when you disrespect my family, of course I must stand out for them. Not to mention anytime you come you always have to complain over the smallest things. Lats time you complained about the drink prices. I don’t think you understand how a business works. Especially a family business. And then the last time you came you took HALF of our HOMEMADE hot sauce. Even after she gave you a 4oz. Be happy my daughter is a kind person because she was not going to charge that. At least not to you (Your mother). So next time when you place a review make sure your story is short or vague because unlike you, I have proof.

That being said, we brought the food back for a refund and only some of it was "accepted" back because, and I quote "it could still be used." That says enough in itself. Food should not be reused from one customer to another. But okay, fine.
ALSO, I encourage future customers to check the reviews and the restaurants response to the customers. VERY rude, sassy, and unprofessional.
The "Taco Bell" "Moes" comments are UNNECESSARY
Constructive criticism should be a thing in the restaurant business.

My babe and I dined here for Cinco De Mayo. We heard about other Mexican cuisine restaurants and how busy they were on this day, so I had hoped this place wasn't too too busy.
We arrived about 6:00 pm and we waited about five minutes... to our surprise another party was getting up from the table. After the waitress cleaned the table, we were sat after 8 minutes of walking in.
Business was booming! We saw only three workers up front, but they all were on the move non stop.
I ordered chicken and beef soft tacos and my babe ordered the fajitas. We both enjoyed our food and ate it all!
He ordered a cocktail and I, a margarita. The margarita had too much mix in it and was not good at all... I am taking away the one star.
The free chips and salsa... the chips were delish! Not sure if they were fresh or store bought.
The food was plentiful and overall we will return if we are in the mood for Mexican.
This mom and pop shop closes early, but if you are in the area they are worth checking out.
Parking is available on the street. I did not see a garage nearby, but on this day parking was not an issue for us.

Quan D.Chesapeake, VA14275139May 8, 2023I have not found a 5 stars Mexican restaurant in the Hampton Roads area, but this one is my favorite so far. Little mom and pop's place. Decent food to fill your craving. I might be bias as it's within walking distance from me. Recommended if you crave Mexican and is downtown Suffolk area.

I'm from San Diego and half my family lives in Tijuana. I also have family in Mexico City and Leon. I've literally spent half my childhood in Mexico. I think I would know what authentic Mexican food is. I'm sorry for the bad review, but come on guys, step it up.

By you eating mexican american food or Texmex.
You can't be an mexican food expert
Therefore i sujest you to keep eating at Taco bell or Moes etc ....
And thank you for you poor unlogical criticism of real / Authentic mexican food

Chicken enchiladas had zero sauce and cheese. It was just tortilla and shredded chicken. Came with a cup of mystery sauce that tasted like something they give you with a pretzel on the Atlantic City boardwalk.
