They have the worst meat, taste, rotten white stuff comes out of it when cooking gross

The Burrito that I bought was ok I just wanted to try the restaurant near me since I was little but definitely not bad just needs flavor wish it wasn't so pricey

Love it, friendly staff and great food, family owned. I been going there for years. Great authentic me in kitchen, love spending my money on local Stanton businesses.

Make sure you check your merchandise that you buy here today is the second time I go here and I get a product that is already expired this is bullshit

I'm always wary of places that have signs that say 'Authentic Mexican Food', but fortunately my curiosity got me in the door.

Carniceria El Novillo is a market, but in the back they have a food area. They have these combos and on some days moles. I have had the opportunity to try two things so far.

[sopes]
The sopes are like thick small tortillas (think of an english muffin). I ordered it with chicken and what they do is deep fry the sopes on one side, then put fresh chicken, onion, and cheese on top.

[mole]
Not every day do I have the chance to get a mole and it was super delicious. The chicken legs were cooked in a mole sauce in advance, served with rice, beans, and freshly roasted tortillas (from el ranchito apparently).

A combo is about $8.

This place is a complete dive, but the food is so delicious. Everything is salted just enough with really affordable prices.

This place since under new ownership has unfortunately been a disappointment. Numerous amount of times we've purchased the food and when we get home beans, or the meat are spoiled. And recently the customer service has spoiled as well. The owners wife is very rude and arrogant. Recently, (because she's done this in the past) she made a mistake on what I was purchasing and when I nicely pointed it out she lashed out as if I did something wrong!
We definitely will not be returning to this store.

I love this place, people are always upbeat great customer service and its nice to deal with people who like to do their Job and are always aware of the customers needs and offer all types of meats all you have to do is ask they will be happy to help!! Recommended place hands down

Limited menu options but that's ok. Like they say "better to practice one punch a 1000 times over than to practice 1000 different punches. The food is amazing almost home cook amazing lol.
