Elegant Nails 2

Never again....I am following up from my daughters review since I was the one that had to take the brunt of the conversation since she is a minor as well as adding a picture. I wish I would have taken more pictures but I really thought they would rectify the situation.

At least 5 out of the five fingers looked like the nail was
Lifting or pointing upwards. Please do not let these nail techs tell you it's because your a nail bitter.

My daughter has had acrylics many times before and never had they looked lifted or upwards.

I advised I did not want to pay for the nails, the owner said she could fix them the next day since I didn't have time to do it then and there. I said I could do the day after. We agreed but she wanted me to pay upfront. I said no I will pay on Monday when you fix them. A few more back forth. The owner called the police, the police basically said I had to pay for the service or let the lady cut them off. I said no your not cutting them
Off you can soak them off and leave her original nails.

I ended up having to pay for them to soak the nails off and leaving my daughter there at the salon since I ran out of time for the next errand I had to get to.

I'm from out of town and stumbled upon this little gem. I'm usually a "comb the reviews" kind of gal but didn't even glance at the ratings before I walked in. I'm so glad I didn't. They did such an amazing job on my nails! I'm so impressed. They were quick, but I didn't feel rushed/ they asked me several times if I like the length, shape, and color before moving on to the next step. The gentleman that painted my nails even asked if my nails were dark enough or needed another coat. Thank you again for making my nails pretty. It was only $45.

Depending on who you get, my last pedicure, the lady was excellent! I would say they juggle technicians too much.

I semi-frequently come in and get a pedicure. I've always enjoyed my service. Today I came in because I have my baby shower tomorrow. I definitely upgraded for a massage because my ankles are swelling and so thankful I did! Less swelling and great color selection!

If I could give a no star I would, the only reason they get one is the design was good. The nail tip and the powder was improperly placed. 5 out of the 10 nails were pointing up and looked like they were not even glued on. I asked them my options as I could not wait to fix than and there, the owner said she could fix in the next few days but I had to pay. I did not want to pay in the case the fix was not done properly. owner said she would have to cut them off, I would not let her just cut them off. The owner called the police and after re-explaining the situation the only option I was left with was to soak the nails off but I had to pay to soak something off that was done at a low standard for nails.

The owner wanted to hold me accountable by paying for a bad service but she did not want to be held accountable and allowing me to come back at a later time and have them fix the issue. I was willing to pay the difference of what the design would cost but only options given were pay for the service and come back at a later time or have the nails removed and pay for the removal

First time and never again

Really nice nails & the guy who helped me was really nice and concern about if I like it or not. Not everyone's checks in with you but he did . Great service def will come again even tho it's a drive .

Will never return. Nails were rushed because she had someone nails to do that came after me! Bad business!!! Nails are bumpy and sloppy paint job. I have gel harden underneath my nails that were not filed properly. Thumb nails are longer than the rest of my nails. Definitely a waist of my time for even stoping in this place for a full set. Ugly ass nails! 10/08/22

Let me start by saying I didn't get my nails done here, I had the DIP taken off that Lee Nails in Bolingbrook totally screwed up.

But if ya'll ever get dip - you know some nail places can use that drill thing on your fingers (WHICH I HATE) and sometimes use it until they BURN you to get the crap off. NOT this place! They didn't use the drill at all to get it off. They put polish remover stuff on cotton, wrapped fingers in foil and stuck my hands in these very pleasant warming pouches. It was HEAVENLY!!!!!!
AND MOST OF ALL- IT WAS A PAINLESS PROCESS!

They have a lot of colors for DIP which most places don't, I will def be back to have my nails done there. ASK FOR NANCY!

I had a horrible experience at this place and will never return. I went in to get a pedicure and then decided since it was my birthday the next day i would also get a full set of acrylics. OMG! Big mistake! The guy who did my nails tried to talk me into gel or no chip which i told him i didn't want. I said just give me a full set of acrylics. I said i wanted the pointy shape and he told me it was $5.00 extra..okayyy forget that just shape them normally and i pointed out a lady in the shop whose nail shape i liked. Well he must be blind because he shaped them into some odd square shape and they were wider than my own nails and looked un-natural.

He rushed through my nails once he realized his appointment had arrived. When i got to the drying table and put on my glasses i saw how AWFUL my nails really looked. I asked him if he could reshape them and he said "i asked you when i was doing them if they were ok" and i told him i really couldn't see how odd they looked until you polished them. He seemed agitated to have to do my nails over and i told him just do the middle ones ((which really looked odd)) He started talking to the lady at the register in a different language and was actually Pointing at me!!

Ok at this point i didn't like his energy and didn't want him touching my nails! I left in a HUFF as the phony lady at the front desk was saying "Have a nice day". I didn't look back and will NEVER EVER EVER EVER BE BACK!!!

Loveeee getting my nails done here, they're always so accommodating. They now offer digital stamping for only $6 for two nails! Think of how much time you'll save getting designs done! I wish I took a video, but the process itself is so amusing I didn't even think about it! Plus there are so many design choices to choose from!
