Elite Garage Door

I cannot say enough good things about Tim and Elite Garage Doors in Bealton VA. I have been suffering with a 20 year old Sears chain drive garage door opener that was louder than a garbage truck compacting its load. It has opened the door, but disturbed the household for the entire 15 years that we have owned the house.
Tim came to my home the day after I called. He evaluated my situation and recommended the quietest new door opener, stating he uses the same one at his house. Tim made other suggestions regarding how to prevent as much noise as possible, so those sleeping in the room above the garage would not be shocked into consciousness every time someone had to drive away.
Tim provided an estimate on the installation of the Liftmaster 8550W and said that he himself could do the work if we were a little flexible in the scheduling. The estimate seemed very reasonable.
My husband and I both found Tim to be very nice and very well versed in this subject. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. We felt comfortable with his experience and level of expertise. I had to perform my due diligence and did get 2 other estimates. I was pleased to discover that one estimate was for a lesser unit for about the same amount and the other was $55 more for the same unit. We scheduled the installation with Tim and Elite Garage Doors.
Tim did a very quick removal of the old unit and a quick installation of the new opener. Tim even brought an additional idea of a rubber padding between all parts of the door framework and the garage ceiling and put that into place for no extra charge. He lubricated the joints of the garage door and later showed us how we can do that ourselves to keep the door movements as quiet as possible.
We absolutely love our new Liftmaster 8550W. I can barely hear the door open when I am in the room directly adjacent to the garage when I am wide awake. I do not wake up when sleeping in the bedroom above the garage when my husband leaves for work at 4:45am. It is a such a blessing!!! Having a keypad outside will be useful and the motion activated light in the garage has already been helpful. This is am amazing upgrade that I wish I had done long ago.

I'm was thoroughly impressed with Tim and his crew. I needed a simple door seal replaced and they not only were on time, called before arriving, and was completely in PPE. Very reasonably priced, which you can tell is a great family owned business. I prefer a family owned business as they value quality over quantity. The crew was very fast, thorough and not only did the seal, but did above and beyond by completing all the preventive maintenance and had the door relearn is safety and limits parameters. Impressed when talking his way through what he was doing (since my toddler son insisted on being outside to watch what "what that man doing") and was not annoyed that we were watching. Will definitely recommend to not only the neighborhood, but anyone I get a chance to tell.

Spring broke on garage door, called Elite and Debbie took my info and Tim got back to me in an hour. He came and installed new spring next day and installed new garage door opener that is much more efficient and quieter than old one. Great service and work at an affordable price. Recommend Elite for sure!!!

I am so glad we called this company! I broke my own garage door by running into it several months ago and we avoided getting it fixed because we were sure it was going to cost a fortune. In fact when we first called we thought our door needed to be replaced and told them so but thank God they were honest people and didnt try to sell a door! Instead they came out the same day of the call and fixed it up right in like an hour's time. I think the man who came was named Tim? He was very quick and enthusiastic worker plus he gave my husband some helpful tips to keep the doors in good working order. Good guy, will call again for any future garage door needs!

This company put in garage door openers on my newly built home and now both of my garages have dents in them at the top. The owner or super Gary came out and stated the garage door opener could not have done that to the garage doors. I have no idea how 2 dents at the top of the garage door where the garage door openers are connected can not make the dent on the doors. There are also several other dents on my garage doors that were originally there when I moved into my home. I brought this up to my builder when we moved in and still nothing done in March. We are now into August and the super Gary comes out now.........Really!!! Then tries to say the owners are the reason for the bending at the top of the garage. When the only thing we have done is used the button on the wall to open the garage door. You definitely don't want to use this company because they do not want to fix their OWN mistakes. I gave them a zero because that is the lowest option of stars. Ridiculous!!!!
