Eric Barker, MD - Peak Plastic Surgery Center

Dr. Barker is a careless and reckless doctor. He and his staff will claim that Vaser liposuction "doesn't hurt, you'll walk after surgery" but that is categorically untrue. Being awake during liposuction shouldn't be allowed as it's a horrific and brutally painful.

He also was extremely unprofessional the day of surgery listening to Green Day in the operating room and yelling at me not to move because it was slowing him down. I paid $9,500 for a liter or little more of fat to be removed so barely had any noticeable results.

Even worse, it was such a hack job he left internal burns and dents. I then paid $8,500 to correct the deformities Dr. Barker left me with after surgery.

If you want someone who won't rush you through visits and the actual surgery, exercise skill and care when working on your body and will actually listen to what you're trying to accomplish, Dr. Barker is not the plastic surgeon for you.

The response below is an attempt to make it sound like this surgery won't hurt but look up liposuction surgery on YouTube and you will see how long the needle is they use and how hard they have to jab it into you. This is careless and irresponsible advertising.

Additionally, the claim "liposuction can be diminished if patient gains weight post-operatively" goes against what they tell you, which is "the fat is removed permanently." Which is it?

If you want someone who actually know how to do body contouring, I'd HIGHLY recommend Dr. Agha. He posts EVERYDAY his results and is honest, straightforward and exceptional at what he does. Dr. Baker is a fly by night doctor who literally "turns and burns" patients.

Dr. Locketz is simply the best, he is methodical and meticulous in his approach. From the moment I stepped into his office, he made me feel so comfortable, like I was the only person in the room.

As an active 40 year old woman with concerns of jowling and heaviness in the lower face and what I could not articulate myself, a lack of balance in the chin area. We discussed the possibility of buccal fat removal, a chin implant and neck lift. All of this was foreign to me as I had never considered plastic surgery previously but have done many procedures that just weren't providing the results that I desired (ultherapy, laser treatment, fillers, threads). It was explained to me, that due to my skin elasticity and genetic makeup overtime, I started to see heaviness in the lower part of the face. Although I was nervous with the anticipation of considering such surgery at my age and concern about the results being overdone and unnatural, I decided to proceed with the three procedures.

My partner and I met with Dr. Locketz prior to surgery, going over all the questions and concerns that were still outstanding. Yet again, the interaction was positive and I was put at ease. The day of surgery Dr. Locketz arrived and in his element, he was attentive and thorough describing to me the process for that days events. The surgery went off without a hitch and the days and weeks proceeding were part of the process in healing.

I am now 6 months post-op and couldn't be happier with the results. Everything appears so natural and even those closest to me couldn't tell that I've done a major surgery.

Dr. Barker is a highly skilled plastic surgeon! He is conscientious and very talented. The staff at his office is top notch. I am a first time patient and they put all my fears aside. They take care of you from start to finish. The surgery center is spotless and the office is inviting. I can't give them enough props! I highly recommend Dr Barker for any procedure.

Dr Barker and his office staff have been beyond WONDERFUL!!!!! From the very first time I walked in to their office, I felt so so welcome, not judged and supported. Amber, is such an AMAZING person to interact and work with. She and everyone else in the office helped me through journey. From being supportive, to reassuring me and listening to my concerns. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift- mommy makeover without lipo.
The closer it got to my surgery, the more anxious I felt and getting encouraging and exciting messages from Amber were very reassuring.
Dr Barker is just TERRIFIC!!! He is very thorough, explained how everything would go, what the surgery was like, what and where incisions would be made, and how things would look afterward. I am 2 weeks post op and I am feeling soooo much more confident than I was before surgery. I am VERY HAPPY with my results!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Barker and his practice. I came to Dr. Barker needing a breast revision and explant surgery resulting from previous work I had done with another plastic surgeon which left me feeling botched and embarrassed for three years. I can now confidently say I am so happy with my surgery results and the care I was given by Peak Plastic Surgery. The techniques Dr Barker used left me with almost no scarring and my healing was night and day from what I had experienced before. I would recommend Peak Plastic Surgery to anyone who is looking for a talented surgeon with great bedside manor who cares about their patients.

What a beautiful office and group of professionals. I can't say enough nice things about this team who work so well together. I've never met Dr. Barker, but I've seen Kendall for treatments; Sarah, Kelsey, Lexie and the gang are just wonderful and friendly. They know how to make it fun with their videos and light-hearted attitudes. It's obvious they know what they're doing, so I trust them.

Highly recommended in every way! Kendall and Dr. Barker are both extremely knowledgeable and professional. The office is beautiful and clean, and staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive!
