I hired a paralegal because I'm going through a divorce. My paralegal is informative and is helping through this long process. I expect my divorce to be finalized by January 2017. I was referred to Joe by a coworker friend of mine who went through the same thing. Joe has been there every step of the way for me.

I was in an unhealthy and unhappy marriage. Someone befriended me and listened to my problems. It's honestly no one's business and no one can judge why I did what I did. I honestly don't care what other people think. I'm focused now on my daughter and no one else. My daughter will be priority to me for the rest of my life.

This attorney is unprepared overworked and understaffed. He is good at creating costs to opposing counsel with filing unnecessary motions to waste the courts time and clients money. First thing to look for in an Attorney is Honesty and Integrity.....you won't find that here.

The beginning things went smooth. It was in court that things went downhill. I don't think he read up on the case before hand. He kept calling my daughter a he and kept referring the judge to parts of what the mediator wrote. Didn't bother defending me when my ex husbands lawyer lied and said she was failing in school. I had given him a copy of her report card which showed all A's. Also, we got a bill in the mail that showed that four months prior we went over our down payment. Why didn't anyone notify us before hand??

Just an honest attorney who grew up in Chula Vista. We met with him about an immigration case and he took time to identify options for the case. If you want a very passive and unprepared attorney go to Ray's office as you will get eaten for dinner in court and then charged for fees of services that are never justifiable!! He is highly overworked and understaffed and not prepared for battle. I have never worked with an attorney so unorganized and unprepared!! He cannot even copy a paystub correctly as half was cut off and shows up to court twice 45 minutes late and then charges you for his tardiness. He over books and underperforms and is more concerned about making money than getting the job done right. I hate to write negative reviews, but I was and still am very unimpressed and dissatisfied with this service and overcharged for fees. I do not mind paying for good honest work, but in this case it was mediocre at best!!! It's unfortunate his paralegal Joe could not be in court and do all the work because he is the only one that possibly, if allowed could have gotten anything accomplished. Unfortunately, he is more limited to being a salesman to get you to agree to the enormous overcharged fees than anything else!! Now my new very professional attorney is fixing the problems left behind from the shady work!!
