Are they out of business? We had waterproofing done almost ten years ago and have been very happy with it, had them out to fix something on warranty last summer, but recently I've been trying to get in touch with them and get no answer and no response to voice mails or the web form.

The waterproofing work was done in April 2022. The lack of cleanliness and care shown by the workers was disgraceful; they left a trail of mud and water throughout my first floor. Despite working in rainy conditions, they didn't bother to close the doors or cover their muddy boots. They didn't even bother to erect plastic barriers to contain the dust. The supervisor was more of a "yes man" than a competent foreman. Despite assuring me that certain tasks would be completed, he never followed through with any tangible evidence.
What I found most concerning was the inexperience of the workers - most were barely out of their teens. Despite the company's claims of experience, their knowledge of waterproofing was evidently lacking.
The sales representative was also a disappointment. He talked a big game but didn't deliver. After our initial meeting, he was nowhere to be found. It would be interesting to see if he could honestly stand by the poor quality of his company's work.
The drain tile that was supposed to channel water to the pump remains unactivated. I'm left wondering where the excess water around my house is being directed since the pump never switches on.
Despite promising to treat the crawlspace for mold, it was completely neglected. The foreman had given me his word that the entire floorboard would be sprayed for mold - yet nothing was done. The salesman used an air quality test to scare me into believing there was mold in the air - clearly a scam.
I've been in consultation with several attorneys who recommend that I seek compensation for the damages incurred. I'll continue to update on this situation as it unfolds. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this company.
They also damaged my water hose line and didn't fix it.
Value? I paid $22,864 for this serious project. True value...maybe 10k.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thomas S.Schaumburg, IL3811Apr 12, 2023
So I had an appointment set for them to come out and look at 1 small crack in the crawlspace of my basement. Originally set at 9am they rescheduled to 2:30pm. Not a big deal, they were prompt at least. Salesmen came in, i was expecting him to head down to the basement to look at the crack. He instead wanted to "sit down" to ask a few questions first. Started asking how long I owned the house?, how long has it been leaking?, does it smell? My replies... Original Owner...not long...not unless you count the cat litter box... This continued for about 5 more minutes with the Salesman more questions about timeframes I was wanting for repair etc. you get the picture... His last questions asked... Is your wife home? Me No, Salesman sorry she needs to be present for this to be a free inspection.
Well that was never mentioned, I told him she wasn't going to be available but that I could show him the crack and he can tell me what it will cost to fix. No dice, no wife, no free inspection, so I sent him packing. I then read the reviews and I am sure glad it worked out this way! I will never do business with this company and would highly suggest no one else does either.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alexa M.Grand Blanc, MI1473244Feb 13, 2023
I do not recommend this company if you have a finished basement. They don't know basic techniques like scoring the baseboards before ripping them off, causing all the paint to pull up off the wall. They won't clean up any of their dirt and leave mud/dirt/dirty fingerprints all over the walls and bathroom. You'll have to professionally clean everything and completely repaint all of your walls. They won't even attempt to Try to cut the tile in a convenient way and crack/chip tile pieces that weren't cut out. They left the job early every single day which is only annoying due to the messy job the left behind- leaving early without cleaning. Given that this company was more expensive than all the other companies, I expected a 5 star job and did not get one. They even over filled the cement in some parts after cover the drain tile (according to my tile guy) which will make it harder to have an even tile floor when fixing the parts they rip up. They also continued to leave the basement bathroom door open the entire time they worked, getting everything in the bathroom covered in a layer of dust and dirt. The bathroom was filled with things I specifically put in there to get out of the way and stay clean.
I also assumed they were going to do a 5 star job on the sidewalk but didn't even fully tear it up and left heaping piles up dirt in the way. I had assumed it was going be either re-cemented or filled with some sort of sealer covering the side walk. My mistake.
They also left this plastic piece in between the wall and cement when filling it - they did not remove the plastic piece (can be seen in pics) prior to leaving and it is now cemented to the floor. This has to be removed in order to have the tile redone - be prepare to spend even more money to have this problem fixed.
They only saved 2 pieces of crown molding and threw the rest away. This was not a part of the plan nor did they tell me they threw it all away. They were ABSOLUTELY CARELESS through out every single step of the process.
The locations that the sales rep said where the sump pump could have been placed were not even aligned with the relative of where the construction workers said they had to go. Clearly the sales guy doesn't understand what happens on the backend. The pump did not end up where I wanted it but it also wasn't the worst spot....they left the job without explaining anything or if there were any directions for the sump pump or huge ass battery attached to it.
I probably should have gone with Permaseal. Save your money, you'll end up spending even more fixing and cleaning their mess. I shouldn't have written the final check until they cleaned/fix the mess and that was my mistake.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David S.Alpharetta, GA422Aug 9, 2022
We want to contact them exclusively for any services they offer as they did an amazing job and provided us with outstanding Service. Team Everdry Waterproofing Illinois has an excellent crew that offers waterproofing services. They thoroughly examined the inside system, looked for any problems, and carried out the entire procedure in an organized manner. They were always on time for appointments, and their communication was excellent. Although they were significantly more expensive when compared to nearby businesses, the service was still worthwhile!

This company will rip you off. They gave me the highest estimate out of three companies to waterproof my basement. They even told me they would put drain tiles around all four walls of my basement. Even though I already have a sump pump so I obviously have drain tiles on one of my walls! The estimator never mention the sump pump, or that I might already have drain tiles. And then he had the nerve to tell me that I wouldn't even have to be home while they were doing the work. Yeah, I'm gonna have a bunch of strangers in my house with no one home! Of course he didn't want me there because then I would've realized I already had drain tiles in my basement. Don't use this company!!

This review is based on our experience with their sales process and we did not contract with this service provider.
They require both myself and my wife to be home because this is a high-pressure sale pitch and their goal is to get you to sign with them for their basement "system" on the spot which was quoted at 24k. They were by far the highest of any of the quotes we received.
They run a few tests that all come back with doom and gloom. I question if any of the information they provide is accurate as several of their test results were debunked the next day by a trusted source.
After being clear with their salesperson that my wife and I would need to talk about this he offered to wait in his car while we decide, then told us he could give us a 3k discount because they had some extra supplies left over from another job in the area.
We spent substantially less with a company that was much more prescriptive in solving our issue. It pays to take your time and get several quotes and talk to several different companies.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 17, 2022Updated review

!!!DO NOT HIRE!!!
Sara called to reschedule their appointment, Sara forgot to hang up the line and rattle on to someone else in her office about how she does not care to hear what they are being brought out to quote on.
If they are this unprofessional at first contact. I could only imagine how unprofessional they are as a company.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stephen S.IL, IL03Sep 3, 2021
I worked for company for a few weeks. It was most unprofessional company I have ever worked for. The Forman drank beer on jobsight always was running late and when I expressed my concern I was screamed at and kick off jobsight. So I contacted management and they pretty much told me to deal with the unprofessional danger at job.. they way over charge the customers and are not afraid to take a shortcut when needed
