Waste of money. Just a third party site that connects you to career coach's. There's not a lot of information you can't find and apply through YouTube videos.

Hey, Sam, I'm not sure what gives you that impression of us as we are a small business and your Coach from our team covered a variety of topics with you during your coaching session. To summarize the session you received from us (which is nearly half the cost of what other coaches charge because we try to help our clients as much as possible), she went over your resume and pointed out multiple grammatical and spelling errors and offered to help you with it, walked you through utilizing LinkedIn for networking and applying to jobs, provided you with suggested scripts you could use while chatting with your connections, and asked you probing questions about passions you have to explore other career avenues since you're currently feeling burnt out in your search. I understand during the session you asked her to write you a cover letter, but that is a separate service you would have had to pay for (and we would have gladly done), but perhaps that is why you are displeased now since you didn't share any concerns with your Coach or me prior to leaving this surprising review. I'm sorry if you feel you didn't get your money's worth, but in speaking with your Coach and gathering these details, it sounds like it was a very productive session and she went above and beyond to give you the support you were looking for.

Excellent Customer Service, Great Communication
I asked for a refund and Evolution Coaching came through within the hour.

Way too pricey for what you actually get.
They work off a template approach, so there is no real customization or thought that goes into it, and it is very apparent. (I had to spell check my resume writer)
They claim to focus on getting you past the "applicant tracking system" Hey, that's great, but what about when it gets to a human???
The resume I got was EXTREMELY wordy and redundant. I thought the guy was joking.
Such a joke, when I expressed concerns to the "CEO" Kristen Gilbert, she basically blew me off, just as the resume writer had, who was extremely unprofessional, didn't listen to feedback, and was condescending. If you want someone to actually listen, DO NOT CHOOSE EVOLUTION COACHING!
I paid over 300 for the resume service, cover letter, and linkedin profile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THE LINKEDIN SERVICE ESPECIALLY! They basically charge you 70 bucks to tell you to copy and paste the garbage resume that you paid over 200 bucks for. LOL.
NO go, do not use this service unless you are into donating your money to Bozos.
PS: I did not get any responses from the resume I got from this service, until I had gone back and revamped and edited it to be acceptable for human eyes. Complete waste! Jeremiah, I am very disappointed to hear this feedback from you after we worked with you very closely throughout your entire project. We handled your revision requests within 1 business day and extended your review period so you would be 100% satisfied with the final document.
You and I had a 20 minute phone call while you working through the revisions process with your writer (who has been a career coach, advisor, and resume writer for several years). He has consistently received high ratings from our clients since he is punctual, responsive, professional, and knowledgable in his field. I know you didn't find it appropriate that he sent you an email at 10PM one evening, but we work to exceed all of our client expectations, and our clients appreciate that level of responsiveness and dedication to a project. During our call, I addressed your concerns and offered to compare your original resume to the new resume that was written and sent you a detailed email explaining my findings and the approach we took on your project.
An excerpt from the email I sent you on 10/12 states: "I did a comparison of the original resume you shared and this final draft and found that only 13% of the original content was used in the new document. This includes your name, job titles, company names, and some key points that could not be reworked without losing their intention. I do feel that [your writer] has created a strong resume that will provide you with the job search traction you are seeking. I encourage you to use the document as it has been optimized to help you surpass Applicant Tracking Systems. I did go ahead and add your LinkedIn to the document for you (attached). I am sorry that you feel this new resume may be too wordy or not reworked enough, but I am confident that when you begin your job search you will receive the traction you are expecting as this document is vastly improved from your original resume. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns."
After sending this, I did not hear back from you, and within only a month of using your new resume, I receive notification of this review you left. Again, I am sorry that you feel we did not meet your expectations, but we worked with you every step of the way, provided free coaching, answered every question you had, and created a new resume that scored in the 97th percentile for your position of interest. Hoping I can save others from the situation I was in. Do not give this company your money. The resume writer I got created a resume full of run on sentences of stock language she must have pulled from a resume from the 80s. There wasn't even attention to detail on copying and pasting information from other resumes/sites into the correct area. I spent more time trying to give feedback and every time there were new errors introduced.

Hey Tanya, I am really disappointed to read this review. Your writer tried everything she could to connect with you and address your feedback. I personally reviewed your new resume and it was written using best practices for resumes today - there were not run-on sentences and the tense and grammar is correct for how a resume is supposed to be read. Your writer tried repeatedly to connect with you to address issues with YOUR original LinkedIn profile being different from the original resume you shared with us for your project. She called and texted you multiple times since March when you first placed your order and suggested you connect but you didn't respond. Once she moved forward with your initial resume draft after hearing from you a month after placing your order, you emailed every 2 weeks or so with revision requests (well beyond our 7-day revision period for change requests), and we went through them with a fine-toothed comb to make sure they were right according to the feedback you were providing via email since you would not connect by phone. In addition to extending our revision period from 7 days to nearly 2 MONTHS, we also provided you with our LinkedIn Service FOR FREE. I am sorry but this review is unfair and we did everything we could to try to engage you in the service.
Below is just one example of our efforts to work with you throughout your project, but we require collaboration and cannot guess at your work experience. This was regarding information from your LinkedIn and original resume not matching up:
Email excerpt from our writer regarding the LinkedIn disparity on May 17:
"You have several short-term jobs that were not listed on your resume but are on your LinkedIn. I'm not sure if you want me to add those. Adding them would take you well over the standard 2-page resume, unless I remove specifics from older positions. Please let me know what you'd like to do. In the meantime, I want you to be satisfied. Please let me know how I can make it better for you. Specific direction would really help, perhaps a phone conversation? Please remember that this is an interactive process and I welcome your input and feedback to ensure that your documents position you for success."
**Between May 17 - May 24, there was no response via phone or email regarding the differences between your original resume and LinkedIn, so your writer readdressed it on May 24th.**
Email excerpt from our writer on May 24:
"I was a little confused about the disparity between your LinkedIn positions and your resume(s), which I asked you about in my previous email on 5/17. I did not see a response to that concern...please let me know."
Your response:
"Ok. How about I go through again and highlight anything then maybe we can chat? I can probably do that today (just a little later)."
Our writer's immediate response:
"I am free this afternoon between 7 - 9, EST. I'm off all day Monday, as well, so we can talk anytime then. If you'd like to give me a call, just send me a text about 30 minutes prior so I'm prepared with my laptop."

Fast turn around & fast responses to questions!! I knew I needed help organizing my resume and highlighting some recent accomplishments. I felt my resume was not doing justice for all the hard work I've put in over the years. I decided to treat myself by having an outside company polish up my resume for me. Didn't know what to expect, but thought it would save me time (and brain power). HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Evolution Coaching! I provided a very outdated resume and the way Julie organized, summarized, and presented the information absolutely exceeded anything I had hoped for. I provided her a bunch of files with reviews/recognitions I received from various managers, and she was able to include this information on my resume in a way that I could not have even imagined! When I complimented her, she was so humble, that she turned it on me and told me it was all my hard work, just her telling my story.
You have to complete an initial questionnaire after submitting your resume, and that took a bit of time, so make sure you have some time to answer those questions. I think providing detailed answers helps the Career Advocate understand what is important to you. After I submitted the questionnaire, Julie turned around the first version of my resume in a few days, and it was absolutely amazing. We made some minor changes during the 7 day review process, but nothing major. I even added on the LinkedIn service because I was so impressed!! Highly recommend Evolution Coaching! I tried for so long to put off hiring anyone for resume services because it seemed like a waste of money, but ultimately I found that having a professional involved was something I should have done from the beginning. I learned SO much about how resume formatting and phrasing gets processed through large algorithms on company job boards. Evolution Coaching totally made over my resume and it was well worth the money. If you're a teacher trying to get out of education and into something corporate make sure to ask for Tara - she was fantastic at helping frame my background and skills in a way that actually got me interviews.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! --- Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away!
This "company" - Evolution Coaching held my money ($405) for over a month and in the end never provided me with the document that I paid for. Kristen G., the company's owner, will make all kinds of guarantees and assurances to get your money that in the end, will all fall through. A staff writer that Kristen uses, Nikki B. has zero customer service skills and is seemingly more concerned with her personal life than with completing her job that you have paid for. In my experience, she and Kristen are absolutely not dependable. After waiting a month, and because I complained about the turnaround time taking too long, Kristen unilaterally cancelled my project leaving me without the CV I paid for and without any option but to start the whole process over again with a new company - WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Charles, this review could not be further from the truth. I am appalled that your attitude and personal threats to me and my staff is something you find to be acceptable in business. Yes, you did place your order last month after two phone calls with me where I explained that you had to be a part of the process and provide your writer with information regarding your work history and schedule a phone consultation. Most illegitimate resume services would have been fine putting together a false document without a phone call or any input from you, but we are one of the highest-rated and reputable companies in the country. After repeated requests by your writer to schedule a phone call to discuss your history, you cancelled or postponed them, inevitably putting off the project since we did not have enough information to work with.
Regarding your reference to your writer having zero customer service skills and caring about her personal life more than your order - She is the highest-rated writer on my team and receives referrals every week from clients she made a positive impact on. When you aggressively texted and called her 4 times in a row outside of regular business hours, she answered you despite not having a call scheduled and her son literally being in the hospital at that time getting major surgery.
When you and Nikki finally met when your schedule allowed last week, she was able to begin working on a draft. Our process states everywhere that our typical turnaround is 4-5 business days from the date we receive the information necessary to begin a productive draft.
You emailed me and Nikki multiple times today demanding a draft this afternoon by a certain time or else you would leave reviews all over the internet, slandering us. Since we are a small business and I respect my teammates, I fully REFUNDED your order (although you don't make it sound that way in your complaint), and cancelled it because we were doing everything we could to help you in a reasonable time (and in the time-frame we originally stated) and that wasn't good enough.
I refuse to work with someone who is rude, unreasonable, and makes threats. We are honest, hardworking, and caring people who have dedicated our lives to helping others achieve success. My experience at Evolution Coaching was beyond stellar. Everything they promise to do as mentioned on their website was met and exceeded. My coaching agent, Jay Kirkwood, is a courteous, considerate, and commendable person. Jay kept me informed through every step of the process in an upmost gracious and efficient manner. Jay Kirkwood is an exemplary example of customer service. The final product, the resume, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I paid to have my resume enhanced. The customer service was great. All seem like really nice people and were really responsive to any questions or concerns I had. However, it has been about 3 months now and all I have received is nothing but rejection letters. I was weary about doing this to begin with as $200 seemed a bit pricey for rewriting a one page entry level resume, and now seems like I wasted my money, which I could now really use.

I used Evolution coaching for updating my resume and my LinkedIn profile. No less than two weeks after working with them I had a huge uptick in the number of recruiters contacting me. You must invest time in building the detail they need for your work history and answering their on line questions but it is worth it. I liked the fact I was able to work virtually with my coach. A+ organization and they are very professional.
