Fanzy Nails

First time going to Fanzy nails today. My friend is a regular here and she brought me. I got my nails done by Gloria and my friend got hers done by Whitney, highly recommend both of these ladies. I usually just get acrylic or gel nails but Gloria explained gel X and opened a whole new door to how I want my nails done from now on. She was very helpful and patient carefully listening to what I want and suggestively, not forcefully giving her opinion, which I appreciated because I'm so indecisive. All of the staff are nice and easy to talk to. I will definitely be going back!

Mike is the first nail tech that could get my almond shape right after I bounced around Sarasota looking for a consistent salon. I always leave happy he is so thorough!!!!!

I really don't understand the positive reviews. While their website claims that this establishment is very clean, I found it to be one of the dirtiest places I've ever been. There are nail shavings and dust everywhere, grime on the walls, disgusting old garbage stains on the top of the garbage can. Virtually everywhere you look, it is a mess. Now it's true that they have plexiglass screens up and wear masks, but that's mostly for their protection, not customers. Additionally, my manicure was way below average. The manicurist was clumsy and not detail oriented - and actually the nails on my right hand look much different than the nails on my left. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Yes, the owner, Mike, is friendly and talks to everyone... Maybe too much. But that doesn't overcome the filth and the subpar manicure.

Love how places advertise organic products yet they have zero ventilation. I'm so sick from the harsh chemicals I don't know how the employees do it.

My absolute favorite nail salon ever! Mike always does such an amazing job and his designs are the best i've ever seen. All the nails techs in there are amazing! It's the only place i'll go. 10/10 recommend!

I just moved to Sarasota and found the best nail salon in all of Sarasota! Tyler is the GOAT!!!! The only person I'll go to, to do my nails! I'm 30 years old and have been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old, Tyler is the best nail tech I've ever had! His attention to detail, quality of work and never cutting you or hurting you, on top of his beautiful energy, is beyond exceptional! Not a single rhinestone fell off and my nails looked just as incredible 2 weeks later! I honestly am so grateful and honored to have met him and to receive his phenomenal work.

Also, the atmosphere, the energy, everything about this salon is EVERYTHING!!! Jose is amazing and always treats EVERYONE with the highest respect, kindness and exceptional customer service. They truly treat you like family here and is the best salon I've ever been to in my whole life. There's no pretentiousness, treating you differently from others, or any of that BS. I'm grateful to have found such a beautiful integral warm business and people! Love everyone here! Highly recommend!

Terrible service. I drove 30 minutes just to be told my nail tech, Kim, did not come into work today and they can not take me. This was after receiving 2 text messages reminding me of my appointment today. Another customer showed up and her nail tech also did not show up for work today. They told both of us that they can not take us. Didn't even offer to make a new appointment. Staff was rude!

Had a great pedicure from Whitney. She was excellent! She gave me options and really listened to me . Will definitely return!
