Fashion Nails

I took both of my employers who are both wheelchair bound to get pedicures for a wedding we have this upcoming weekend. There was only one other patron in the salon at the time of arrival and we were told it would take to long for them to only clip and color their toenails but had the time to do a full pedicure on myself able bodied individual. I have been coming here since I was 15 years old and I will NEVER give them another $$ of my money.

Walked in and was looked at like I was crazy. Said I wanted to get my eyebrows done and it will be a while, even though there was hardly anyone there. Was brought back to a separate area for waxing, and I had to lay on a towel on a waxing bed that looked like it hasn't been washed in years. Nothing looked clean in this facility. The wax even made me itch, even hours after I got them done. If you're someone who likes cleanliness, don't go here

Went in today and the wife accused me of cutting my nails incorrectly. When I told her that I had been in two weeks earlier and she cut my nails then not me, she became very angry. What a way to end what was suppose to be a relaxing time.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is run by a woman and her husband whose English is not very good but that is really the least of the problems. The couple is not very friendly or personable. The thing that I want to emphasize is that they are so rough there. If you are imagining that you're going to get a spa treatment type of service you should definitely reconsider. I have never had anyone be so brutal. To be fair I went back a second time and the treatment was basically the same. It may be cultural but I don't care. This is obviously a nuts-and-bolts kind of place. There are kids toys a sewing machine, boxes and sometimes kids running around screaming and crying. The couple's child, a young girl girl is really the one who is in charge there. She's demanding of her parents while they are working, but after all she is just a kid. The prices are good but I'm not sure how clean the basins are. There are no shortage of nail salons in Lynchburg. I am not willing to put my money toward a business where the owners are unfriendly and rough. My advice is to stay away especially if you were looking for some sort of a spa-like treatment. This is not the place
