Fatboys Barbershop

I've been to this place several times, have had my hair cut by three different barbers there, and have left with a great haircut each time. Barbers are nice, and prices are excellent. This place is cash only, but I think they have an ATM on site. The space is trendy and comfortable. It had the added benefit of being right next to a Redline stop.

Asked for a MID FADE. Just moved to this side of Indianapolis & brought my 3 year old to get his haircut. First impression was welcoming & didn't feel discriminated or unwelcome at all. My son does not move at all when getting cut so anyone cutting his hair will notice that because of his young age. We got a fairly NEW barber & was taking a long time plus the haircut was looking a little rough(fades aren't easy). Making me nervous because we were going to take family pictures right after. Well the reason for my 5 star review is because Chris the owner of the shop really cares about his customers & noticed what I did & before I can even say a thing he made sure to correct it. To sum things up he will make sure no one leaves his barbershop with a f**ed up cut. PERIOD 10/10 recommend.

I get a great haircut here and love the barber shop. They do a little therapy at the end of the cut by placing hot towel over your head for a few minutes. It's wonderful! So why the three rating? My stylist was wearing her mask properly. However, not everyone in the shop was wearing their mask or they were not wearing it properly. I think at this time it should absolutely be a requirement. This made me nervous and a little disappointed. I have underlying conditions and I think the workers should be wearing masks properly. AND, if customers don't want to wear a mask they can wait outside, imo. These facts show a lack of care.

In and out in a fast 15 Minutes. Great cut and attention for detail. Discussed my hair issues and work with me on a style right for me. Very clean environment. Great welcoming staff. Well be back. The hot towel on the head at the end was BAMM!

Great barbershop. Kevin and Chris really know what they are doing. You may have to wait some time if it's busy, but it's worth the wait. If you want to talk, they'll talk. If you want to chill, they'll work quiet. Have been searching for a good barber the last few years since moving to Indy and after getting cut by both Kevin and Chris several times, I won't go anywhere else up here. Really good shop.
