So this ended up being our favorite restaurant in Carate Urio!

So, after a long week in Lake Como, on one of our last nights in the country, we attended the wedding of our dear friends. They were married on a boat, in the middle of the lake... MAGICAL!

INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, we happened to be staying a 5-minute walk from this restaurant but had not tried it, up to that point.

As the boat docked from the wedding... GUESS WHERE WE WERE EATING?!?!? HEAVEN!

Folks, this place was chosen for a wedding reception... AND THE CHOICE WAS CORRECT!

My gosh, we were treated like KINGS. Multiple staff members, all night long. Your wine glass never thought about being 1/2 empty. Wine flowed, waiters quietly danced behind you making every moment special and magical.

The food... the food... Y'ALL - THE FOOD! WOW! We had a 5-course meal. Fresh, delightful, admittedly most of it I had no clue exactly what it was (blame the wine) but it isn't often I clean my plate for all 5-courses... that night I did.

Getting married in / on Como? Anniversary? DO YOU WANT A MAGICAL PLACE TO PROPOSE MARRIAGE? Here. Stop shopping, stop searching, stop looking around... book a lovely table-for-two on the stone patio, just inches from the water. Make a memory. I swear on my love for sushi, you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing, especially the pizza and the (note that it's only served at dinner and lunch on Sunday's). The service is great, and the view is stunning. If you are in Como, this place is a must!
