Luke M.Blacksburg, VA03Mar 9, 2021First to ReviewI had no idea what a mortgage broker was, or why I would need one. Ryan was not just professional, but patiently walked us through answers to every question we came up with.
I do not like financial institutions, and I thought that working with a mortgage broker would be uncomfortable, at best. This was not the case. At no point did I feel like he was talking down to me or pressuring me into anything, and the whole experience was very positive.
He walked us through the pre-approval process, produced all the necessary paperwork, interpretted the legalese of the loan and the 'good faith' payment, and set up everything we needed, so that come closing day the mortgage was taken care of. All we did was sign papers and get the keys.
After closing, I realized that, because he gets paid by the lender, we had received the convenience of his services without giving him a cent. That seems like a pretty great deal, to me!
It kind of seems too good to be true -- to get top notch professional services for nothing. If you're not sure whether a mortgage broker is right for you, give Ryan a call. He will walk you through the process patiently, and you may realize that he's exactly the person you need!
