Best acai bowl around. Everything on the menu is so fresh. My wife loves that they have Paleo options too!

      Updated review

Was waiting an hour for an Uber Eats order only to find out from the delivery driver that Fit Fuel Cafe was closed. They showed as open on every platform including their website. Tried calling the phone numbers they have listed - no answer. Very disappointing. No longer a customer.

Given this place a try multiple times. Each time, it's completely dark and dirty inside. It seems like whoever designed it was all-in initially, but just gave up one day. Employees seemed depressed and asleep, no acknowledgment, no hustle. Just a shitty little spot that's going to fail like so many other half-assed businesses that are losing out to big chains that have nicer employees, cleaner stores, better and less expensive products.

A few quick tips if you've never been here before:
      - Bring your own container for a 10% discount.
      - If you're not sure what to get, check out their menu on the website. They have a picture for just about every menu item.
      - Parking can be tricky (no private lot), but I see plenty of people park across the street at the Walgreens.

I ordered the cold brew, sweet potato chips, and port special bowl. Total came to be about $17.
      - I would pass on the sweet potato chips. The chips have none of the familiar sweet potato taste, it simply has a bitter taste. It was thin and crispy like a regular potato chip, but taste beats appearance in my book.
      - For the coffee, they offered whole milk or half and half. I'm sure they'll sub it for almond milk if you ask.
      - The port special bowl was a little basic, if I'm being honest. All of their bowls are a little basic. For example, some sautéed kale and onions would have been an excellent and healthy addition.
-Portion was fine though. The food didn't look like a lot in the container, but I was more than full by the time I finished!

Not entirely impressed with what I got, but I'm not writing them off just yet. There's still a few items in the menu I want to check out.

The service was quick and friendly so that's why I'll definitely be coming back (with my own container, of course!).

      Cute decor~

Was excited to try but the food wasn't great and for the price, I didn't expect to see such small portions.

Well I am pretty glad that I ended hanging out w/ my friend in Randolph so we could discover this place. I probably spent more money than U should have but I knew I wouldn't be back in the area for a while. I am so glad I ordered the amount of things I did because they were super delicious!! Smoothie, hummus, sweet potato chips, bowl, salad, muffin, damn, it was oh so good. I guess you can't go wrong w/ whatever you order. We were trying to figure out where we could eat since they didn't have tables set up inside so they put out their little table & chairs outside for us to eat. I think folks should totally check it out for something healthy & tasty.

I was trying to surprise my lady by coming home with something different. I order a recovery bowl. Looks like a typical bowl from chipotle. It comes with chicken, cubed sweet potatoes, brain rice and some leafy green. Also I got the "watermelon crush" smoothie.

We're weren't impressed. The bowl looked good, but found the rice to be undercooked. Nothing worse than a mouthful of rice with uncooked grains. Having to fish out the bad ones with your tongue, might as well spit it all out and start again and I hope that there aren't any bad ones in the spoonful. Some of the sweet potatoes were burnt as well. The chicken was tender but lacked flavor.

I had high hopes for the smoothie but was disappointed. It has no characteristics of a smoothies. It wasn't creamy, or smooth or smoothie-like. It wasted like water down watermelon juice. What a let down.

This wasn't a good experience, at least for what I ordered

One and done for me...I decided to check this place out while in the area and it was not only incredibly overpriced ($17 for a protein bowl with steak large enough to feed a small child), but the girl working the counter was so rude and not helpful whatsoever after simply stating it was my first time trying it out and asked for recommendations. Her answer was "I don't know...it's all pretty straight forward"....are you kidding me?...bad taste in my mouth right off the bat...They barely give you enough food and it was like something I could make at home with minimal effort...I was given a cup size of arugula with a few sweet potato home fries, an egg, and three little pieces of poorly cooked steak with absolutely no flavor...it just is not worth it in my opinion and there are many far better restaurants offering healthy options with more reasonable prices.

Avoid at all costs to save yourself money and frustration

I like it here. And want to come back and hang out. The chipotle bowl and island smoothie that I ordered were both great. But I'm still hungry, and I paid about $20 for both. I feel like there could have been a few more ingredients to make the chipotle bowl a little more filling. But, overall was a good experience, the boss was very nice. I'll be back.
