I waited for an appointment with this company for three weeks. They called me this morning to request to move the appointment up a little bit earlier. I have scheduled meetings all day and I cannot adjust my schedule for them they have been on my calendar for three weeks.
An hour after the appointment lapsed and Shane told the office that he drove by the job and it was too small for them to even consider. That's a total lie because it's in my backyard and my yard is fenced and they don't even know how much work I wanted done which was actually considerable amount with not only pavers but also a huge screened in gazebo.
I would not recommend this company at all.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Melanie K.Clearwater, FL1215Oct 25, 2021
Nearly every step in dealing with this contractor was painful. Please save yourself a headache. I requested a quote and the came out to house quickly and the man was very helpful, but that was the end of the pleasant experience. Below is the list of things that didn't go well.
1. The first thing to go wrong was that they sent a written quote for the wrong install and instead of it being for $3,200 it was for $32,000.
2. Repeatedly they would say they were coming and not arrive without notice or arrive another time without notice. Since I work and have dogs in the back yard this didn't allow for much progress on the project.
3. When it was time to begin work they said they were going to drop off a work trailer for work that would begin the next day. We agreed on parking it in the driveway, but instead they parked it halfway in road and across the grass/ blocking my neighbor's driveway.
4. After they moved the trailer they didn't start work as they stated and ended up leaving it parked at the house for five days. If you live in an HOA you know that this was also a problem, which I made them aware.
5. Then the work began. They poured the concrete fine, but for some reason decided to leave 12 concrete mounds throughout the grass (see photos). I called and let them know and Shane (possibly the owner) said no very happily agreed to provide 77 sq ft of sod for the area the mounds killed the grass, but instead he did not. Instead placing four pieces in another spot not correcting the damaged area.
This company was terrible. We had several people in my neighborhood ask about the work as they saw it being done, but after seeing the backyard they have all said they will call someone else. It was a painful experience and I am incredibly grateful they were not doing a bigger job than just pouring concrete.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Bobbie M.Bend, OR37810Dec 23, 2019First to Review
If I could give them a 10 I would! Incredible workmanship by a team of the owner Jessica, Shane the sales consultant, Jason who oversees the operations and most importantly, The young guys who worked tirelessly with no break in order to finish our project ie pave patio with lights. Perfection! You won't be disappointed from beginning till the end. I have neighbors that used these guys. You won't be disappointed!

Communication throughout process was horrible claims to be Christian company but not what I received from them they don't ever get back until you have called several times regarding same issue that is still not corrected the screened room they did wasn't what we wanted but had to accept it because it had been done according to details they received which were not what asked for but I take responsibility in that for not ready every detail and taking a lingo course in their company jargon but mostly service was horrible including they order supplies and you are charged for siyppliea even if they don't use everything which I'm told they only charge you for what is used which is dishonest right there I have been waiting till January for fan boxes and still not put up they put in a small electric box and expect my fan to fit in it ok then!!! Don't know what their doing also the gutter leaks told them that as well have they fixed it No I have gave them more chances to make it right big mistake on my part but I'd think twice before getting work done with them

Had "City Stone" lay a paver patio for us about a year ago and they did a fantastic job. 1st ones in a new Sub to get ours done, since then 6 to 8 other homes have used them also on our recommendation. All very pleased.
We decided a month ago we wanted a partial wall around the outside of the patio. So we got a couple of estimates. Florida Coastal was a little cheaper than City Stone so we contracted with them. (BAD IDEA)!! Sometimes its worth paying a little more for quality workmanship and great people to work with.
Shane (he was the cause of most of the problems) came out to give us an estimate. My wife and I stood on our patio and told Shane we wanted a partial wall on the outside of our patio 15 to 18 inches above the patio. So he wrote up the contract as such, WE THOUGHT? Thank goodness we were watching because the workers put (1) one row of block above the patio, which was 6 inches, then they were going to put the cap on. Who ever heard, ever, anywhere, of a (6) inch wall of any kind? Just Stupid! There was enough block, which we paid for in our driveway for another row. But Goofy Shane said that if we wanted another row we would have to pay extra for the block, which we already paid for and the labor. Jessica, the owner, agreed with Shane and said, "HE MUST HAVE BEEN HAVING A BAD DAY". Finally they agreed that, OK, I didn't have to pay for the stone again but they still charged me $266 for the labor which of course I had already paid for also. We now had a wall that was 15 inches above the patio. Which we originally contracted for. Yaaaa!
They started this project last Wednesday, it is now Thursday of the following week and they finally finished this morning. Would not recommend, and stay away from Shane he's a trip unless you want a 6 inch wall.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1
