The Framers Edge

We have had several paintings framed here and have never been disappointed. We recently took an oil painting from my Grandparents' to be reframed. We do not know the entire history of the paintings, but we do know they are over 60 year old. Each time we worked with Chris and he listened to what we wanted and helped us find the right frame. He did not rush us through the process, nor does he push his recommendations on you . He gave us the time to make a decision and understand our style. He helped us select frames that brought out the colors in the paintings. All of the finished products were beyond our expectations and each day when I look at them I appreciate the history and bit of family legacy it has brought into our home.

This review is slightly overdue. I first used the Framers Edge a year ago to frame a painting I purchased while traveling. They did an excellent job of helping me work within my budget and the finished project was great. They stretched the canvas, framed it beautifully, and even left it open in the back so that the oils could continue to dry throughout its life.

I recently moved and wanted to get a few newer pieces framed. Again, I couldn't be happier with the results. I found the right frames and theft held me consider something new: the right glass. I had four pieces and two of them were framed using art glass. In the picture you can see how much it mitigates the reflection of light sources around it and allows for amazing detail to be seen. It was such a great choice on these two prints. The other two I was a little bit more creative with in terms of the frames due to their location in my home. Both of them turned out excellent as well.

They really have something for everyone. If you need something simple, they have it. I'm not one for fussy frames and they have a lot of simple frames in loads of colors. However if you need an opulent gold-leaf frame to hang that 17th century oil portrait in your living room, they also have you covered. Luckily there's a lot in between as well.

You can expect professional, friendly service and good guidance if you need it. Both times I came to pick out a frame and drop the art off, they were working with repeat customers. It really instills a sense of confidence when you see so many repeat customers at a place. I guess now I'm one of them!

The two men that own this shop are absolutely fantastic! They did a beautiful job framing a print I ordered from Denmark that I now have hanging in our family room and I couldn't love it more! They are so helpful as well-when I went back to them with a question about hanging a metal frame, they showed me everything I needed to get it done right. I would highly recommend The Framers Edge!

Rob and Chris helped me frame an original watercolor and I couldn't be happier with the result. Outside of having a ton of design options, they were consultative in helping me choose the right frame.

They were timely in getting it done and even referred me to someone to help me hang it. The prices were fair given the quality of the end result.

I won't shop anywhere else for framing.

Chris and Rob have framed dozens of things for me over the years and the results are always exceptional! I feel very confident taking in prints, art, mementos and sports memorabilia to be framed in a way that will accentuate and spotlight the piece in my homes. I love all of the options offered for matting and glass to make sure each piece is unique!

Fabulous framing shop. I had a number of pieces damaged in my move from California, and I took my favorite two pieces here first for reframing. I absolutely love the final pieces, and they encouraged me to get out of my good ol' black frames. The frame is really a part of the artwork, and I appreciated their design ideas.

So friendly and professional. Attentive to detail and my pictures had a fast turnaround. I'm looking forward to bringing my other photos and paintings in for reframing.

I received an autographed movie poster for Christmas and brought it here along with a charcoal drawing for framing. Customer service by Rob and Chris was fabulous. They helped us determine the right price for our needs and weren't pushy when it came to selling "extras." Their display gallery is beautiful, and I have no doubt that when our items are returned, the workmanship will be nothing less than excellent. While custom framing is never cheap, Rob and Chris will assist you in finding the right price for your budget and the best look for your items. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Framers Edge to a friend.
