Fred A Cook Jr

This is the second time I used Fred Cook to service my septic tank. I like to give my business to local stores and companies when I can and this one example of my being able to do that.
The phone rep was friendly, knowledgeable and had my account right at her fingertips. The technician was on time and very professional.
I will definitely use Fred Cook again when my septic system needs servicing.

They have a great reputation. I have used them in the past and never experienced a problem. Everyone from office staff and drivers were very friendly. They came between the times indicated, the bill was exactly what was quoted. What else can I say, they are number one in the number two business in my mind (I just had to use that line).

Well organized local company of professionals delivering an important service at competitive prices. I used them every three years. I highly recommend them.

No call/no show even though I waited 2 weeks for an appointment and called the day of the appointment to confirm. I called after hours and still didn't get a call back. I can tolerate lateness and even a cancellation, but a no-show is unacceptable. Roaring Brook Lake community.

I had my septic tank pumped this morning and they arrived ahead of schedule, which worked out great for me. Kate , from the office returned my calls promptly and was courteous and very accommodating booking my appointment. Dan made my day !! He definitely is an asset to this company. He is pleasant , courteous and extremely knowledgable and I can't say enough GOOD things about him ! He answered all of my questions and was very thorough and made sure he got the sludge out. If you need your tank pumped , ask for DAN. I would absolutely recommend this company !

Dan was super friendly and patient with all my questions. We had a clog and needed a pump, and I'm really happy with the work they did.

They were reliable as far as showing up on time and being very quick! I don't have a lot of experience with septic service so being that they were the only company I've ever dealt with they seemed very professional. I wish they had just done a little better job of putting the sod back after digging two holes in my yard. Apparently when they first started digging they thought that the inlet was in one spot but it was actually in a another spot. So ultimately they had to dig two holes to find the inlet. Otherwise they did a fine job!

I have used Cook for my septic for years and they have always been beyond professional- not to mention on time! A few days ago I had a backup in the evening (around 5pm) and was hoping to get someone in first thing the next morning. Instead Cook had someone there within 2 hours and solved the problem with no issues whatsoever! So grateful. I highly recommend them for regular maintenance and problem calls!!

Cook Jr. Septic Started the job to clean septic tank but couldn't lift couldn't lift a concrete pump lid from the tank and walked away from it saying sorry your problem! They told me to find a contractor. When I asked them for a reference at the very least, they basically said we don't know any. This is your problem. I contacted another company and they came immediately, lifted the lid and fixed the pump pipe all within an hour! I have used Cook Jr. before and they had done a good job in the past. I will never use them again though!

Let me say that I somewhat agree with the review below on 4/13/15. I experienced a similar conversation after my services were performed. I was told my tank was 'X' capacity and given the appropriate pump out cost. Then when the work was done, I was told it was the larger 'X' capacity and charged a much higher rate. I have no way of knowing the actual capacity so I have to take their word for it.

I did find the service to be very good though. They had to come out to my home twice to first empty my tank and then do some additional required work. They came when expected, left no s**t on my property (pardon the pun!), fixed the problem and despite squashing a flowering plant (or two!)--no real serious complaints. The girl (or girls) that answer the phone are exceptional.
