This is such a cute place for drinks! The decor and lighting in here makes it such a vibe. Even the bathroom is aesthetic. Drinks were good, but the wait can be really long. It's also very unassuming from the outside. If you're not paying attention, you could miss it!
Given that this is more of a lounge to grab some drinks, I wouldn't recommend their food. We were starving and decided to order a number of bites. All of them were very disappointing and nothing stood out.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Oct 4, 2023
A must visit every time I'm in Oakland.
Stopped by before a concert at the Fox on a Monday night. There were lots of open seats, love their back patio. They have heaters but it was warm enough without them. We ordered at the bar and our drinks and food were brought to our table.
The happy hour (5-7 pm) cocktail was a mezcal spritz ($7), it was the perfect refreshing yet smoky cocktail for a warm night in the bay.
I love the menu here, we shared the radishes w/ aioli and added sardines. Love the way the radishes were served with the stems on, we felt like bunnies . We also shared the melon and prosciutto which is a MUST have. The chili oil on it was perfect. They were out of the carrot cake , but settled for some popcorn and the beer + mezcal coffee shot happy hour drink ($7) for dessert.
This space also has books, cards, and crayons to draw on the table cloth. A great spot to check out in Oakland, worth making a trip from the city!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 3, 2023
Just had a perfect happy hour on a pleasant rainy Wednesday on their covered patio. The staff was super friendly and the vibe was industrial-adorable. I was going to try two different drinks, but Mom's Rosy Cheeks (gin) was light and perfect, so I got two.
The Brazilian cheese bread, artichoke, and potato appetizers were all good, the last being a bit crispy for my taste.
Also, crayons. Yes, I'm almost 40 and would love to draw my cat on the table while waiting for my friend to arrive, thank you for asking.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Aug 30, 2023
Love the ambiance of this bar/restaurant! Such a cute date night spot :) We did a little appetizer and drink moment here before dinner. There was no wait time when we went on a Saturday at around 5:30p. We decided to sit indoors but there was a cute outdoor seating area. The server was attentive and helpful with helping us order food/drinks.

I met a friend here for drinks and apps and neither of us had been before, so we didn't know what to expect. I got there right at 5 and was warmly welcomed in and invited to pick a table indoors or outside. I picked inside and was quickly brought a menu (which changes daily it looks like) and got a drink while I was waiting for my friend. When she arrived, we each got a cocktail and shared some apps - the pao de queijo, chicory salad, and marinated olives. Everything was delicious but I will dream about the hot honey tomato jam that came with the bread.
While we were there we noticed it's dog friendly and everyone who helped us throughout the night was super friendly and nice. My only complaint is that the music got loud after a bit and so I felt like all the tables were speaking loudly to hear each other over it. Outside might be better if you're wanting a quieter vibe.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jul 2, 2023
Absolutely amazing experience! I selected this bar because I knew it was one of the 50 best bars in North America, so I knew we had to check it out. Plus, the food sounded amazing! We were not disappointed. We got a bunch of different dishes to share, which are all delicious, and the cocktails were wonderful. I also like the energy of the place. And of course love supporting a woman and queer owned business. Also, the purple bathrooms are really fun! And the service was very attentive, friendly, and professional.

This is a chill spot to catch up with friends over good drinks and food bites.
My friend and I came for happy hour around 4:30 on Monday. My friend made a reservation a couple days beforehand.
The restaurant is located on a very unassuming street, I had to double check I was walking the right way as there were no other businesses nearby.
There's both indoor and outdoor patio dining. When I came in early August, they were still doing vaccine checks, which was surprising to me.
The happy hour menu is available until 5 pm and includes both snacks and drinks. We shared the chips n' dip ($8) appetizer and both got the seasonal hh cocktail, the signora fiori ($12). It was a chamomile tea infused dry vermouth with suze, bubbles, and grapefruit peel. The drink was okay, but I personally am not a huge fan of vermouth so it wasn't as sweet as I liked.
Once happy hour ended, we also shared a slice of mom's carrot cake ($8) and each ordered more cocktail. I had the Anouk's Kiss ($14), which had rum, fiero, grapefruit, lime, 5 spice, and absinthe, and it was amazing. I really liked the combination of flavors in the drink.
Initially in the patio it was pretty quiet, as it was still early. However, it got loud later as more people came, and we started having to speak a little louder.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sandeep C.San Mateo, CA246115301Jun 3, 2023
Don't come here. This place is . We ordered a bottle of champs and some food, sat by the bar which is a nice ambience. But let me tell you, the staff is terrible and doesn't understand customer service. Our grilled cheese was extremely burnt and they REFUSED to remake it saying it should look like that. I then asked for ketchup to cover up the awful taste, and it was a huge deal. We can read your body language and are self aware enough to see that the people working there were speaking about us. We later saw someone else with another grilled cheese that was perfectly done and we decided to ask another bartender (I don't recall her name, but she was the only nice person there) if it could get remade and she said yes.
It's now almost time for them to close and they yell last call. My friend grabs our bottle of champs and tried to pour our drink, the same person I asked ketchup for yells at us as if we took the bottle of champs behind the bar - thank god the nice bartender corrected her because it def felt hostile. This places isn't it and wouldn't go back.Helpful 4Thanks 4Love this 1Oh no 2
