The staff at FR Mortgage were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable!! Whenever I had a question about the process as well as any thing they did/ requested; it was always answered and in a timely fashion. They were able to get me closed (even earlier than originally planned) and all went well. The process was smooth , just required a lot of documentation but with these transactions you get what you put in. Send requested docs / info on time ; communicate openly and honestly and all will be fine. I had some loan conditions before full approval and my processors Dana / Erin made sure I understood how to supply information/ as well as ensuring it was appropriate format for my lender. Broker Tim was also very personable and helpful!

I'm not even comfortable giving this company one star. The mortgage lender I spoke with did absolutely nothing except take my call and sell me on the refinance. The remainder of the experience bounced between talking to inexperienced employees between this company's turnover rates. My process began in August and they have notified me of my closing at the end of December. My lender also notified of the interest rate increasing from what was both guaranteed and fixed in August. He blamed me for this not this process falling within 45 days which was completely out of my hands. It was all through fault of their own, losing employees, and placing my and other customers loans on hold while rehiring and attempting to follow through on their work load. This has been by far one of the most unprofessional experiences I have encountered in my life. I would never do business with them again and would not recommend anyone else risk the time or the hit to their credit score. Pure garbage.
After this much time has passed- the management doesn't consistently follow up with everyone neither.... never heard a word from the company in terms of an apology or possible remedy for all the trouble they have caused. I've only heard horror story stories more recently. AGAIN- take your mortgage/refinance elsewhere. ANYWHERE but here!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 30, 2016Previous reviewI'm not even comfortable giving this company one star. Don't bother.
I've had better customer service at McDonald's during lunch rush. They don't care about you and the only time they remember your name is to pay overpriced bills. They didn't complete the work or call back when I had questions. Gotta pay for that nice car somehow though!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brad H.Centennial, CO124202May 25, 2017
Brian has built a great team at Front Range Mortgage. They have all been extremely professional and more than willing to accommodate me with every request I've made! Good to have them around!

Update: I was contacted by Brian Murphy, the manager. I would highly recommend speaking with him first. He understood my frustrations and apologized, also remedying the problems that could be fixed. Thank you Brian for following up and making things right!

Krista: I am sorry for lender delays and glad that I was able to speak with you and make things right (covering all lender fees, etc). Please know that you can call me direct as we can ever assist again!
Jun 27, 2016Previous reviewShop around and avoid a headache. The entire experience with Front Range Mortgage was frustrating. They were not able to complete our refinance on time causing us overage fees. Each step they emailed us legal documents with incorrect amounts causing a lot of confusion when we were told to ignore them. They scheduled our closing before receiving the closing amounts and when those amounts were much higher than they promised us, they had to cancel meetings last minute after we already took time off for work. When we finally got to closing day the coordinator never sent us the amount we needed for closing or who to make the cashier's check out to. Since it was not sent, we had to ask for the information less than an hour before the bank closed. The closing amount ended up being off from what we were told it would be. In the end they promised us a gift check to compensate us for our trouble and the extra expenses for us that they caused. They sent us only 40% of what they promised. Overall a very unprofessional experience.

No follow up. Phone calls not returned, no response to email. Definitely does not live up to advertised recommendations.

I called Front Range Mortgage to comparison shop with a couple of other lenders for a refinance. Front Range's closing costs and rate offerings were right in the middle of the other two lenders, and I actually did choose to go with a different lender. However, I give this company a 5 star rating because of my conversation with John- he was incredibly helpful and honest, and even assisted me with understanding some confusing points on the other offers I had received. Although I don't have a loan with Front Range, I would feel completely confident in suggesting them to anyone I know who is looking for a lender, and I will be doing just that when I have the opportunity!

The Front Range Mortgage Team - Brad S.Lafayette, CO09Feb 17, 2015
What I love the most about Front Range Mortgage is that Brian knows all the ins-and-outs of the industry -- all the hidden fees and tricks that can be used against you to make your mortgage more expensive -- and he uses them to help you get a better, cheaper mortgage, saving tons of money on one of the biggest purchases of your life. I use a car-broker to help me buy cars cheaper, and I'd never think about buying a home without a good mortgage broker because I don't have the time or energy to learn all about mortgages, I rely on people I trust, like Brian.
