G1 Towing Corp

I just had the worse experience with G1 towing. I called Infiniti Road Side assistance at 5pm and they notified me that G1 towing will be there in 60 minutes. After an hour I called G1 towing and they said it will be another 45 minutes . At 7pm I called G1 again and they said I am up next and they driver is actually the next city over. By the time with all the excuses and delay, the tow truck driver came around 12am. It took them 6 hours!!

Upon arrival, the driver told me to hang back and he will drop the car in front of the dealer and leave the keys inside since the car is disabled. The next the morning I found out the driver went straight to the tow yard in downtown LA which is 1 hour away from Monrovia. I called Infiniti to pick up my car and when they sent another flatbed they would not release the car until I the owner pay $85 for having it delivered to the yard lol!! Insane!

Short story after 5 hours on the phone with Infiniti Consumer Affairs they told me to pay G1 and they will reimburse me. They told me they are working to take G1 off their list of future services because scamming clients is unacceptable.

If your insurance company tells you they're sending this company, save yourself by asking for a different company to be sent. My friend's car's battery died and his insurance company sent G1 to jumpstart his car. My car was parked right behind his car, and the G1 tow truck ended up hitting my car and badly scratching it. The driver guaranteed that his company would cover the repairs in full and provided me the contact information of the company. For the past few days, the company has been uncooperative and uncommunicative, refusing to update me on the status of the claim. This issue could have been handled quickly and efficiently, yet they have made it into a bigger problem by not taking responsibility for the incident and lying. If you ever need car help, please turn your service somewhere else and also park far away if you see one of their trucks approaching.

TLDR; stay away from this towing company.

This review is for the service I never received on 12/29/2020. ABSOLUTELY worse towing company ever. Do not waste your time waiting for them to come because they will make you wait hours for a tow truck that they NEVER dispatched.

I received their service around 6:30 pm and they were supposed to send out a tow truck for me by 7:30 pm.... and here is where it all went DOWNHILL.
7:30 comes around.. no tow truck in my sight so I called and they gave me a new time, at 8:30.

8:30 comes... no tow truck so I check the tracking link they sent and the tow truck was still AT the starting location and did not even move. So I called them AGAIN and they gave me a new time, 9:30.

9:30 and NO TOW TRUCK. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I called them, furious, and they wanted more money for their service. What kind of company and HORRENDOUS service is this. Feeding lies to customers and wasting our time. 3 HOURS WASTED.


I ended up calling another company and they were able to come WITHIN 30 MINUTES and NO EXTRA COST.

STAY AWAY AND GET ANOTHER TOW COMPANY!!! All these reviews have the same story. I should of read them when they were assigned to my tow.


So I used Roadside Connect that services my vehicles warranty tows. I reported the tow to RC 1230 PM and they assigned G1 to tow me with an ETA of 2PM. 230PM came along and still no tow truck. Called G1 and I was told 1 hour more. Called RC 30 mins later to confirm and they I was told driver is 35 mins out. Waited until 430PM and called G1...15mins ETA! I called RC at 530PM to assign another tow truck and they arrived with an hour...AND THATS IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!

So I sat on the side of the freeway for 5 hours. I question if G1 Towing ever dispatched their driver. I got a blocked call asking if I still need a tow....this was before I cancelled through RC. I asked if she was from G1 and she wouldn't say, asked if she was from RC she said no.

My gut and intuition tells me this was a SCAM! G1 purposefully delayed and never dispatched a driver. Transffered my tow to another company so they are outside the contract of RC and charge for whatever they want.

Stay away. WHAT YOUR RESPONSE G1?

Always used AAA and not once did they take over 1.5 hrs. Since this was a warranty tow I went with RC. This is the WORST no-tow experience ever!

Imagine sitting in a disabled vehicle on the side of a busy freeway with semis and traffic doing 75mph for 5 hrs. Now imagine if you had your family with you. STAY AWAY FROM G1 TOWING!

Horrible service. Requested a tow at 1p. Called to verify at 2p. Told it will be delayed for 45 mins. Called again and was told to wait another 45 minutes. Called one last time and was told they won't be able to help me.

When you call they will answer and put you on hold right away. This is a horrible customer service. Do not book here!

Absolutely awesome service! I sold my clunker on Peddle and G1 was assigned to come pick up my car from my home. I called G1 to confirm that everything was still happening and their friendly staff assured me I'd be hearing from my driver within a half hour. Sure enough, Lalo the tow truck driver texted me eta updates and arrived well within the scheduled pick-up window. He paid me the full amount of my Peddle quote and gave me a check on the spot (which cleared just fine in case there was any doubt.) Lalo was friendly, courteous and professional and I couldn't be happier with G1's service.

To the owner. You might want to consider shutting down. I always dread it's your company when requesting road service resistance from my insurance company. I have to state in advance to avoid your 3 hour late arrivals past the ETA. Or even have the professionalism to say that no one can come through.

Avoid these business at all cost.

Woke up to an unexpecred issue after having my cars maintenanxe done yesterday, was in a panic until Tony from GI Towing arrived and set my mind at ease. He was friendly and very helpful. Got underneath my car when intold him what was going on and immediately noticed they didn't secure the bult aftwr doing my oil change and all the oil spilled out. He was the beat driver ive dealt with in any tow company, and beforw owning my Kia I had an old worn down car sonive dealt with alot of tow companies. Thank you Don't for all your help. You ROCK!!!!

Waited 4 hours for someone to come pick up my car. Never came. Called them one hour into my 4 hour wait to make sure someone was coming. They said the driver would text or call. I never got anything.

Called after four hours and they said they had to reschedule. It sounded they weren't even aware of my tow. The nearest tow truck was on the other side of LA. They wanted to reschedule and I said no.

I came 100 miles and wasted four hours of my life. This was scheduled days in advance.

Things happen I understand. But theres no reason not to text me so I wouldnt waste my day. Instead I contacted another towing company (was there in 30m).

This company sucks!!!! Don't call them !!!Been waiting since 4:30 it is now 6:52 an all I got was a message saying they canceled!!!
