Pleasant and professional owner, receptionist, and technicians. I've had two minor repairs done there and have been pleased each time. They seem to go over and above, rather than just doing the bare minimum. That kind of service is what brought me back the second time and why I recommend Gary's Auto Collision when friends and family ask.

Had a minor collision at the back side portion of my car by a clearly distracted driver. Thankfully the guys at Gary's are quick to take care of the issue and had excellent communication throughout the process. I love how professional these guys are. So far, it's turning out great and I can't wait for everything to be done!

I had a minor hit in the bumper, so AAA sent me to caliber collision and they straight out told me they couldn't help me because they don't work with electric cars, so AAA sent me to Gerber collision to get a quote they wanted to keep my truck without giving a quote, so I desired to get a quote to Gary's collision . John sent an email to AAA and they approved the work. So John told me it was going to take 3 days for me to get the truck back , but my truck is an electric truck so I got a message saying my truck had a collision warning, so John called me asking for an extra day . , but AAA told me : well that's the shop you pick. Pretty much washing their hands if the issue didn't get fix , but guess what John figured it out. He said it was a challenge for him.

Our experience with Gary's Collision started when I had a cracked plastic transom door on my boat that I was hoping to get fixed. Not only did Johnnat Gary's take great care of me, they did a beautiful job. Because of this excellent creative work, I took my 2001 F250 for a total paint job. I love my truck and was restoring it to new. Again, John at Gary's took great care of me and made my truck beautiful and better than new at a very reasonable price. I question any of the negative reviews. Gary's is a class shop with a professional interest in doing great work for their customers. I'm a devoted fan.

My last review was over 5 years ago, but I'm on my 2nd car and things love to shoot out at me on the freeway. Of course I came back to Gary's and my repair was done beautifully within a few hours! Please stay in business, I'll probably (unfortunately) be back eventually.

GaryApr 13, 2018Previous reviewI was driving on the freeway a few years back and someone's exhaust fell off of their car and stayed on the far left lane. I had a car behind me and a car next to me, so I couldn't make an abrupt stop and had to take the hit. The exhaust crashed through my grill and dented my front bumper of my then NEW car. I left it as is since my insurance deductible is high, but never got around to shop for estimates. Now comes tax return season and I thought that I'd give my car a much needed and deserved face lift.
Contacted Gary from his stellar reviews, he gave me an honest quote and stuck by that quote from start to finish. He had my car ready in 4 days and I still can't stop admiring the finished product. My car looks brand new again! I'm about to take the car to get a full detail just to see it shine in all its glory! ... and to whoever lost their exhaust on the 101 near Burbank exit back in 2015, take your car to Gary to get it fixed. - Marco D.Cerritos, CA02349Dec 6, 2021
I selected Garys Auto Collision Center because of the 5 star review, unfortunately I had a very bad experience. 2014 Honda Accord minor damage. Garys quote $10618! It should not matter how a customer is paying but with Gary, paying cash means "new parts" while using insurance means "aftermarket" or "used" parts. Unfortunately, I lost my job and I told Gary I can no longer afford to pay cash and have to go with insurance. Gary was upset and had to "return" brand new Honda parts because insurance only accepts "aftermarket or used" parts since it's a 2014 Accord .
Since I didn't have auto uninsured collision coverage, I was denied by insurance. So, I told Gary if I can pay cash with the same "used" parts price. He responded that they don't make aftermarket parts and no used parts are currently available and have to increase the price back to $10,618.
Desperately finding ways to save on cost, I informed Gary that I tested the headlights myself and I don't need to purchase a new one. Gary said okay and he will not replace the headlights and bring down the price to $9,300. Then I informed him that his website boasts about being able to repair plastic bumpers without the need to replace to save, Gary said he has no idea what I am talking about (see website photo).
Since I still cannot afford it, I told Gary that I will have my vehicle towed out of his shop. He said that I will have to pay a hefty storage fee of $65/day. I said okay I will pay. Then he said, actually the price is now $95/day because interest rates are high (interest rates are all time low).
I had no choice but to pay the ransom because I needed my vehicle out of there. I told Gary that I am ready to pay for the storage fees, he told me that I had to come in person to sign the papers. I asked him how is it okay for me to sign for the repairs via email but not for storage fees. He responded, okay and that I can pay via email. Really disappointed how dishonest a person can be during the holidays.
So this was a $1300 mistake. It doesn't help that during the holidays I will have no job, no car, and now minus $1300.
The only good news is, I found a shop today that gave me an in person quote of $2500 for the total repair. I hope no one else will have the same horrible experience that I experienced. Happy holidays everyone and make smart choices.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Business owner information

Marcos De Jesus every line of your comment is a lie and we did try to help you in every way we could even though you signed the authorization form two weeks ago we ordered the parts and received them we had to return them because you said your parents wouldn't help you with money and the headlights were taken off of the estimate and we told you we could fix it. The storage rates are posted and visible for anyone to see we do charge $95/day. WE ARE A 5 STAR SHOP AND SOMEONE LIKE YOU DOESNT DESERVE OUR BUSINESS. Of course, 2020 ended with me getting T-boned! While, I'm grateful that it wasn't worse, I had to deal with getting my car repaired--which we all know is a headache. Because of this and because I'm attached to my car, I was willing to go about 30min out of my way to take my car to Gary for repairs.
I heard about this shop through word-of-mouth and decided to message him through Yelp. He responded very quickly the same day--within 10min, I reckon. I was able to bring my car in that afternoon for an appraisal! Gary was very considerate of what I wanted with my car, which I appreciate!
He was very transparent in discussing the repairs and showed me everything that was going into the estimate. Knowing that I was going to need a rental car, he suggested waiting until after the holidays for the repairs so that my car wouldn't be sitting in the shop and not get worked on while I was paying for a rental--thank you! I also decided to go ahead and get the paint restored on the entire car since it was in bad shape. Gary was honest with his recommendations and was very reasonable in terms of cost.
On the day I dropped off my car, Gary even called the rental car company down the road to have them come and pick me up. Great service!!
While my car was in the shop, he sent me picture updates of the progress. When it was essentially done, we walked around the car together to make sure I was satisfied with the work. He also made honest recommendations about waiting to get the car polished so the paint could set--I had to come back a few weeks later, but I was ok with this because I wanted it done right. They even restored my headlights without an additional charge. I also brought in a bumper protector, which they installed for me.
Additionally, Gary's given me great advice on how to better maintain the paint on my car. Again, the service here has been great--above and beyond my expectations. For me, having peace of mind is important when it comes to my car and I definitely felt reassured taking it here. My car hit a huge piece of tire and the bottom part was broken. John helped us check immediately, was super patient and helpful. He reassured us multiple times and explained in details what was broken, even though knowing we were not getting our car fixed here (we were on our way to SF). Thanks buddy!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I have never worked with a more rude and incompetent body shop in my entire life. But don't take my word for it. Go find out for yourself, but be prepared to receive endless excuses, poor workmanship and constant delays. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Gary you are a real life hero. Not only did you help me but you have helped my dad too I am so grateful for you and your team. My dad's car got hit by a stray tire on the road, it did a lot of damage to his car. He left it at Gary's and got a rental and will be back soon. GaryOct 14, 2016Previous reviewI got rear ended had my trunk smashed in, damage to the latch so my trunk wouldn't close properly, bumper damage, broken license plate lights. It was clearly a stressful morning and the shop my insurance recommended couldn't see my car for over a week. I found him on yelp he has great reviews and upon calling him he was avalible to take my car same day. We went right away he was kind enough to walk us through the process, worked with our insurance and got me set up and ready to go. He kept me updated and work on my car quickly. The work is amazing It looks brand new, the paint matches perfectly no two tone colors they color match!! Thank you Gary for a great experience I highly recommend this shop. Trustworthy, friendly, and high quality work.
